  1. I was really high on Kenny Willekes last year.
  2. I wanted Tedarrell Slaton, but Beane and McD know better than I do. Very interesting draft and I mean that in a good way. First three picks were fantastic.
  3. I’m strictly a Trevor Lawrence and Trey Lance guy. I’m kind of on the fence about Wilson, I mean, he could be good but I just don’t see it. He’s the one I’m most unsure about. I do not believe that Fields or Jones will be any good either. I also think that Lawrence will be good, but not a generational player. I think if the 49ers hang onto Jimmy Garoppolo for a few years until his contract runs out and they sit Lance on the bench and develop him, that would likely be quite a decent outcome for them long term.
  4. Who do you think would win in a fight? Beane and McD cloned 50x or Gregory Rousseau?
  5. My friend, I’ve got to hand it to you. Most draft buffs do not have the faintest clue in what they’re talking about, but you do. I went over the TBD Mock 1.0 and you were right on the money on just about everything. I value your opinion but I completely disagree. Our offense is elite, if we can bring up that defense a little bit I think we are going to make another deep push.
  6. It sure does my friend. I think of when the Colts had Robert Mathis and Dwight Freeney during Peyton’s golden years. Put up 30pts and watch Freeney and Mathis get to work on the opposing teams QB. I think our team is being built in that model. Obviously our offense can put up points, but now we have a violent pass rush that goes along with it. What will Wilson, Tua and Mac Jones do when Josh drops 30 on them and they need to get their team out of that hole? Even for a veteran, high end QB that’s a heck of a challenge. Got 2-3 seconds to dump the ball off and many of your options will be covered like a blanket at that point.
  7. I wanted Boogie! I thought there was no way we would take him because of Rousseau but when we did, I cried tears of joy. Especially since we had a terrible pass rush last year. I thought Boogie had a late 1st round grade to maybe early 2nd round grade, he was excellent value at 61, I couldn’t believe it.
  8. Honestly, if it were me and I know this is going to be very very unpopular but I would keep Rousseau, Boogie, Epenesa, Obada and Johnson. Just go for a complete youth movement on the DL and dump Hughes and Addison to save some money. That’s what I would do. In no way am I predicting that this is what Beane will do, but once again, this is just what I would do. Did Hughes or Addison even break 5 sacks last year? I think there is a very strong chance that Rousseau and Boogie can surpass that level of production and I haven’t given up on Epenesa yet either. I thought he was a nice pick last year and Obada to me is very intriguing, he may do something. Rousseau and Boogie will both be 10+ sack guys, give them that experience, no point in waiting, not short term nor long term.
  9. Eventually. I think you may even see Rousseau/Boogie/Oliver/Hughes in obvious passing situations but long term I think you will see Boogie starting at that RDE spot. Rousseau is probably the starter at LDE week 1. Obviously Epenesa will be another rotational piece as well, but in the end I think Boogie will beat him out as the starter. Boogie is way more versatile and way more gifted.
  10. Tucker went 14 to the Jets. Carman went 46 to the Bengals. How did you guys do?
  11. I think the Dolphins have had a great draft so far. New England has had an absolutely terrible draft! Jets have done okay but not great. I do think this Bills DL is going to be feasting upon some very young and inexperienced QBs. Tua is going to get killed as will Wilson. New England has a decent OL but Mac sucks. The bottom line doesn’t change. Bills will win the AFC East. I’m not saying that in a cocky or condescending way, I’m trying to be level about it but especially when I look at New England, O how far they have fallen.
  12. Most teams don’t seem to like the options there either.
  13. It’s great to have insurance at tackle, especially since we don’t have much behind Dawkins and Williams. He will likely be developed to take over on the right side. Very interesting pick and not in a bad way.
  14. Wow, he is one big man. Interesting pick.
  15. Hahaha, I was saying the same thing to my dad when we were on the clock in the 2nd round.
  16. I’m trying to tell you, number one, if you value someone at a certain point, that’s their value. Need not wonder where other teams have them valued because they just may take him before you. Slaton is going to be the best NT in the draft, if Bills brass feels the same, he is not a bad pick RD3. Give me a stud NT behind Star and we’re in great shape. Our line was terrible last year.
  17. I am 100% okay with another D-lineman.
  18. After the 2nd round, draft boards fall apart and anything can happen.
  19. Jay Tufele Tedarrell Slaton Marvin Wilson
  20. Tufele would be great, wouldn’t mind it if we double dipped and took Wilson or Slaton later on as well.
