  1. He had nobody to play alongside him, so who do you think teams double teamed?
  2. Well, he was drafted in 2018. This is his third year in the NFL. They say to never judge a draft till at least three years later. Oliver played at 285 last year, I think he belongs at 300-305. He is built a lot like Kyle Williams IMO. He is a bit undersized, but once again, he was playing a lot of nose, which is incredible for a guy that’s so light. If you want to argue and say he isn’t a great NT, I agree with you, but in my mind, you can’t argue that Oliver could be a very good 3T if he was allowed to attack. Also, you can’t argue that Oliver would not be good in run support if he didn’t have to eat two blockers. Is he Pat Williams? No, but he is good enough for what Buffalo wants to do, which is to build a DL that can kill your QB. By all means, put Star in at RDT and Oliver in at LDT in obvious running situations, but by and large for the most part Oliver will be at RDT most of the time because this is a passing league and our DL is designed to hunt QBs.
  3. He does get a lot of shade though. I just think that it’s going to be obvious by the end of the year that he is not a bust and he was not a reach. He did a lot of dirty work for us last year, but with the way the Bills drafted and the way they added talent, I think Oliver will be able to play more to his ability and skill set. More 1 on 1s, less eating up blockers, more penetrating and shooting gaps. I see him becoming a key cog on this defense, if not our most important, our second most important behind Tre. I just have that feeling in my gut that he is going to do something special.
  4. I think he is going to see a lot of 1 on 1s and all hell is going to break loose. Between Star, Boogie, Obada and Rousseau, it’s going to be impossible for teams to zero in on him. I don’t think he will be elite, I reserve that for Aaron Donald and Chris Jones only, but I do think he will emerge as a very good DT and a key contributor on that Bills DL. Flame away. 😁
  5. 1. Josh Allen 2. Stefon Diggs 3. TreDavious White 4. Dion Dawkins 5. Ed Oliver 6. Tremaine Edmunds 7. Mitch Morse 8. Jordan Poyer 9. Boogie Basham 10. Gregory Rousseau
  6. Shady in his prime would put this team over the top. Probably win 2-3 Super Bowls over the next 4-5 years if that were the case.
  7. Thing is, Aaron Rodgers is a top 5 QB and has been for nearly a decade now and he only has 1 SB. Had he played for other teams he could easily have 2-3. I don’t think he is cocky or conceited at all for wanting out of Green Bay. I don’t think they’ve done a great job building around him. He can pretty much make any HC or OC look good and I know he put up big numbers last year but he is going to do that in any scheme regardless. They’ve gone against his wishes many times which is folly. Any player he wanted he should have gotten. Any coach he wanted he should have gotten. I’m hearing he may end up in Denver, but honestly, I think he is going backwards talent wise as far as what he would have to work with, but I do think Elway would get him pretty much everything he wants if he went there. If Elway rolled out the red carpet for him like he did with Manning and kept Rodgers involved, it could work out though. Wouldn’t be my first choice though if I was Rodgers.
  8. Yo, I’m reddy 2 pop right NOW B! Nobody eva messes round wif Victory Formation! I’m reddy to pop right now! Know wuttum sayin’? Know wuttum sayin’?
  9. I respect Mike Vrabel so much. The guy is a great coach.
  10. Tannehill is a pain in the rear end when he gets going. I don’t think he’s a bad QB at all. Consistently accurate, deadly with the play action when their running game gets going. Vrabel is also a heckuva coach who utilizes his talents the right way. They’re a very underrated team, sneaky good, maybe even contenders. I don’t see too many weaknesses in them.
  11. I’m not sure how they’ll divvy up the snaps, but I do think Oliver will see quite a bit of time at 1T. I’m sorry to disagree with you. It will be between him and Star. Boogie and Rousseau will see substantial amounts of time at 3T. How the rotation plays out behind these guys I don’t know, but the starting/backup rotation will consist mainly of Oliver, Star, Boogie and Rousseau.
  12. Yeah, he has everything you would want in a LB except intelligence and instincts. Hate to sound so cruel about it, but it’s the truth.
  13. • I think many ruled AJ Epenesa out too early. I thought he showed promise later in the year. Combined with Boogie and Rousseau, I think the Bills have a bright future at DE. • Devin Singletary. I think he is a good back, not a great one. Don’t mistake him for being a back to back 1,000 rusher, but he is a key rotational player who can play a solid role for us. • *Darryl Johnson* I think this is more in tune with what you’re asking. Former 7th RD pick, I think he has potential as a decent backup quality DE in the NFL. May not be a star, but could be a cap causality because of the veteran depth in front of him. Personally, I’d cut the old farts and let the young guys play. • Dawson Knox. I do not think he has elite potential, but I do think he can be a good player if it all comes together for him. Could see him as a 45-60 catch guy with 450-600 yds a year. Pretty much what Charles Clay could have been for us had he stayed healthy. • Marquez Stevenson. I love the idea of him sitting behind McKenzie for a year. Explosive speed, could be a decent piece for us down the line. • Ryan Bates, C/G. He got no love coming into the league, went undrafted, I think. Honestly, when I saw him play last year, I thought this guy could be a quality starter. I like him more than Ford. He has stud potential. • Ike Boettger, OG. Like Bates, I like him more than Ford. I view him as a very good backup, but obviously not a guy you’d want starting for you. If the money is right and he wants to stay here as depth, I hope he sticks around. • Tommy Sweeney, TE. Loved him coming out of Boston College. I loved him not because I think he’d be an All Pro but because of the value of where he was drafted. He’s a #2 TE. No future as a #1, but what he lacks athletically, he makes up for it with size and hands. Seems like a quality run blocker as well. • AJ Klein. He’s better than you think. We could do a whole lots worse. He’s a solid starting LB at a palatable price. • Justin Zimmer. He’s probably done here. More of a 3T, we have plenty of those. I do think he’s a good player.
  14. Did he injure his hand putting nail polish on?
  15. Charles Clay had far more production over the course of his career. He was a good player but had issues with his knees filling up with fluids IIRC, had to constantly have them drained. He was never truly 100% while he was here. Definitely an above average TE, made big plays every here and there sporadically. Chandler was an average run of the mill TE. Charles could of been great if he didn’t have degenerative knee issues.
  16. I think New England should have went after this guy. He has talent, but played for a piss poor franchise.
  17. • Complete mastery over our offense intellectually like the way Peyton Manning did in Indy. • Precision no look passes. • Connecting on the deep ball more regularly with more touch.
  18. We’ll likely see another corner and if I had to guess, maybe a tight end if the right one shakes free.
  19. I don’t get ads. I’m not sure if it’s because of my browser, but I do think having the option to donate for certain privileges may not be a bad thing. Maybe platinum, gold and silver options for access to certain sub forums, perks and so on, or simply because you want to donate $5-$10 to a forum that we all love and gather upon.
