  1. Hollister certainly has the potential to explode for a monster season. I find it strange how his YPR so low, he seems to be very athletic. Athletic enough to the point where Buffalo can start running some Twin TE sets and power run packages with Knox in there. TE is a funny position, it seems to be a position where it takes time for guys to develop and mature. He could have a big season, like Knox, once again, he’s very athletic and has positional versatility. Could play TE, could play FB and can also offer a lot as a receiving FB/H-Back as well.
  2. Yup. I admire you for not judging him. Some crimes are unforgivable, especially against children and also the shedding of innocent blood and those sort of atrocities, etc. What Sherman did was wrong, but once again, he’ll pay. There will likely be some sort of medications that he’ll be prescribed, which likely means he’ll be seeing a doctor for the rest of his life. Meaning there will also be therapy involved as well. Likely forever. To those who say that people with mental illness do not pay for their actions, what do you think the outcome would be for Sherman had he had no illness at all? A year in jail? With the kind of money he has, he may have just gotten probation and let off easy anyways. Mental illness actually hurts him here. Once again, this man will likely be seeing therapists and doctors for the rest of his life. Many players around the NFL have done much worst and after they serve their 6 game suspension, life goes on as it were before.
  3. Even with mental health issues you will be held accountable, at least on some level. Don’t pretend like someone with mental health issues will not pay in one way or another if they did something wrong. Instead of jails theres long term psychiatric hospitals, nursing homes etc. I suppose that so and sos level of functionability is what determines the outcome, but don’t pretend that the Nicholas Cruz’s and the weirdo “Joker” mass shooter will be let off easy, they’re in medical prisons for life and they should be, but the ones who may have acted in a way like Sherman did, there will likely be stipulations upon his release. Court ordered therapy, medications, abstinence from alcohol, AA meetings etc.
  4. Yeah, I just don’t tolerate people blowing up on me and yelling at me. I keep my cool and when it’s over, I walk away. I don’t raise my voice at anyone, so in my mind nobody should raise their voice at me. But like you said, he should just walk away, unless he truly did something that rightfully triggered his wife.
  5. Seems like our unofficial FB/H-Back. He’s a TE only in title, not so much in nature. I think his major competition is Jacob Hollister whom I feel can play FB/H-Back/TE. One thing Gilliam has going for him though is his versatility. He can play STs and that greatly helps him. Can I justify Gilliam over Knox, Hollister and Sweeney? No. If we keep 4 TEs though maybe. But I don’t think we’re done at TE. We made a play at Ertz, but it didn’t work out, maybe he gets cut and we sign him, but who knows? If that doesn’t happen I could see us adding another guy after the roster cuts/trim downs or maybe Beane signs someone from someone else’s practice squad. All in all, I’d be surprised if Gillian makes the team.
  6. One thing I liked about Davis is his feet. For such a big guy he really has some nimble feet. Even in tight windows, whether on the sidelines or in the back of the end zone, he always gets both feet down. I see him as a reliable #2. Maybe a 65-70 catch kind of guy, will probably get 1,000yds a few times in his career. Definitely an awesome red zone target. So long as he uses his body to shield away defenders, I think he will be a trustworthy target for Allen. I’m not going to get too carried away with it though.
  7. Devante Adams and DeAndre Hopkins are great, no doubt about it, but Diggs is exactly the kind of WR a guy like Allen needs. They match each other’s skill set perfectly. Diggs is very good at these quick last minute pivots and hitches to break free and Allen has the velocity to just rifle it in there. It’s almost not fair. They really are perfect for each other. Barring a catastrophic injury to either one of them, I could see both of them ending up in the HOF. I don’t think it’s just Allen who makes Diggs great or Diggs who makes Allen great, they are both elite talents who make each other great. Both are top 5 talents in their own regards.
  8. Central NY in my mind is mainly Bills fans, with Jets and Giants fans sprinkled in.
  9. I feel bad for Sherman, he’s a smart dude but it seems he fell on hard times. Often times your smarter people are also the loneliest. We live in a society that prides itself on ignorance and stupidity, critical thinkers are no longer welcomed. Factor that in with celebrity and the parasites that come along with it, that want 5% of this or 10% of that of everything you make. Or the fans who ask you to pose for a picture every time you walk down the street.. I can imagine how lonely that must feel. Who knows the reality of the situation between him and his “loved ones” who try and nickel and dime him out of every cent he makes. The ones you thought cared for you have now fractured away after you’ve realized that they simply latched onto you for money and not for who you are as a person. The first sign of trouble they leave, even after all the good you’ve done them. I feel sorry for those with money and celebrity. At least my broke ass can tell who really likes me, which isn’t many. 😁
  10. Don’t want him here. Great player but he would eventually become a distraction the second things don’t go his way.
  11. Plus he went to Stanford, so he’s clearly a smart dude. I wonder what happened exactly.
  12. I see the comparison. I see how someone might compare Herbert to Josh. They are similar in likeness but Allen has more raw physical talent ; arm strength, mobility etc but Herbert is not as physically gifted as Josh but he was a lot further along in the developmental process than Josh was coming out. Better coaching, going through his reads etc. I had a very high grade on Herbert coming out, but will he challenge Mahomes? Doubtful. Andy Reid is a brilliant HC, it’s no contest as far as who is the better coach between him and Staley. Herbert is great, I think he will be awesome, but Mahomes is just as good if not better. No way the Chargers beat out the Chiefs anytime soon.
  13. Dawkins is our best lineman. Little will change this year except at LG perhaps. I have questions about Ford. Spencer Brown will likely ***** that RT spot within the next year or so.
  14. I think he should be honored for keeping the team in Buffalo, but I think many folks had an axe to grind with him because he seemingly cared more about money and not winning. Most of us were simply grateful to have a team, regardless of whether we were contenders or not. It is true that we were perennial losers under him, but all in all, I do think Terry is a better owner, but I must also acknowledge that without Ralph there is no Bills.
  15. When he signed with the Jets, at that point you knew it was all about getting cheese and not a Championship. He’s too old now.
  16. I agree that Feliciano is a lock at RG. I like Morse as well, he gives Josh Allen some nice and clean pockets to step into, but injuries are a concern. I do think if we ran different run blocking schemes, Morse would prove to be above solid here as well. Ford I have no hope for. I like Bates and Boettger better. 🤷‍♂️
  17. Legally. I’m not interested in streaming from fraudulent websites. So I see that CBS hosts the majority of Bills games, I count 9 games total on CBS. Then I see FOX comes in second place with 3 games. Then we have NBC and ESPN tied together with 2 apiece. Is there any way to purchase these channels separately via app on Roku? Or do I have to shell out $65/mo for YouTube TV?
  18. Well, he was on the wrestling team both in high school and college. We rough housed all the time.
  19. I’m 6’2 with an extensive history in bodybuilding and I warn you to never underestimate someone because of their height. My friend Ronnie is about as big as McKenzie but he grew up on a farm. He’s put me through multiple walls before, freakishly strong. I’m not saying height/size don’t matter but some of these smaller dudes are scrappy.
  20. Allen will be a better QB than Kelly. Will he have as good a team around him is the question.
