  1. Imagine Groot, Boogie, Oliver and Epenesa rushing the QB together in obvious passing situations.
  2. Well, unfortunately the virus can be passed along by people who are vaccinated, but the main problem are unvaccinated players may face is that their symptoms will be more severe if they get COVID. It’s a personal decision, I refuse to judge someone if they did or didn’t get it. I’m hoping this darn thing doesn’t mutate again.
  3. It’s nice to see my boy Boogie getting some love. I was more surprised that Groot is as good as he is, I always expected Basham to be good. Then you add Epenesa into the mix and this DL is trouble. We have great depth at one of the most important positions in football, it’s going to be hard to pay all these guys in a few years.
  4. My gut feeling is the Dolphins will collapse. I think the Patriots will come in 2nd, likely by 3-4 games behind the Bills.
  5. It depends on what time of the year it is. I come here regularly, but during parts of the offseason where nothing particularly interesting is going on, I stay away.
  6. I knew it was a mistake right away when the Pats took Michel over Chubb. You know, for such an ingenious coaching staff and I mean that with sincerity, I wondered what was going on in their mind when they took Michel over Chubb. It made no sense to me at all.
  7. There should be lifetime bans doled out for fans who not only fight in the stadium, but in the parking lot too. This is unacceptable and should never happen.
  8. I was a fan of Sweeney coming out, but it’s time to move on. We can do better.
  9. Yes, sir. I couldn’t agree more. I think it’s possible that we add someone through the waiver wire. Not feeling Breida at all.
  10. I’m hoping that we can replace Breida somewhere down the line. Singletary is by far our best back and Moss is pretty decent as well, but I’m not high on Breida. I find the situation we’re facing at TE/WR to be a curious one. Obviously I would like us to keep both Kumerow and Stevenson but I’m concerned about our depth at TE. Neither Knox nor Hollister are premier TEs, but they’re both really decent. Any depth we have behind them is nonexistent though. I think instead of keeping 11 players on DL, we may keep 10. Keep 7 at WR, keep 3 at TE and keep Gilliam at FB. Both Boogie and Rousseau can play not only DE but 3T as well, as can Obada, so we may not need as much depth at DT as we think. I know FB and TE aren’t glamorous positions but I think these players earn their stead in goal line and short yardage positions and against teams with fierce pass rushes as extra in-line blockers and pass protectors. Ultimately I think you have a great list though, but the one thing you cannot foresee is the waiver wire. We may add a few guys to the 53 man roster and it’s almost a given that we’ll see some new faces on the PS. Is a trade out of the question?
  11. Oh, absolutely. I couldn’t agree more. I’ve been saying so since last week. I think Boogie, Rousseau and Epenesa will be phenomenal for us. Might as well hang onto Hughes though, hopefully he retires with some hardware. 💎
  12. Good coach? That may be a stretch. Good HC? You may be right.
  13. And don’t think that other teams wouldn’t do this to Josh.
  14. I hate to say this, I really do.. but penalty or not, whether this gets a flag 10/10 or not, whether what Smith did was illegal or not, if the Bills defense takes shots like this at the right time, it is an effective way to play defense. I agree that you can’t do this too often and I agree that in certain situations this isn’t the smart play, but tell me how many shots can Fields can take like this without seeing ghosts? If we can get a couple shots on Wilson, Tua and Mac Jones like this, wouldn’t you say it’s worth it? I think you have to weigh the penalties against the possible momentum shift of the game. I am against going after peoples knees and that sort of thing, that’s absolute bullcrap, but a few hits like the one Andre landed on Fields can win you football games.
  15. Okay, here we are a week later. I’m convinced that he should make the team.
  16. I was a big fan of his coming out of college. Did he become the QB that I expected him to be? No, but I do think he can be a starter in the NFL. I do think he would dominate in New England, especially with the TEs that they have. This offense is perfect him. The Erhardt Perkins offense is tailor made for Trubisky. I can’t believe New England didn’t sign him. Did they seriously go with Cam Newton over Trubisky? Unbelievable.
  17. It was a clean hit, it looked dirty because of how outmatched Fields was. If Chicago doesn’t get their ***** together this kid is going to get hurt.
  18. Webb is cerebral. He organizes practices for the team during the offseason before training camp and all that stuff to the point where it’s almost like he’s a coach. Maybe he’s not the most gifted guy, but he’s a leader and he works hard. Rosen has no integrity and quite frankly he sucks.
  19. If both Allen and Trubisky go down we might as well tank for higher draft picks anyways.
  20. Hahaha, to the IR he goes! You’ll probably see him walking out to his car in the parking lot with nothing wrong with him. 😆
  21. Better than nothing I say. See that hit Fields took? That’s the value in players like Lee Smith. Their job is to get defenders dirty.
  22. Honestly dude, I know you’re joking but for veteran minimum, it actually wouldn’t be a bad idea, jokes aside.
  23. I think we’re good with Knox, Hollister, Gilliam and Sweeney, but if one of these guys get hurt, we need a headhunter/blocking TE to round out the unit. It’s dirty work but it must be done.
  24. I think Knox and Hollister are very decent. Are they exceptional? No. Are they acceptable? Yes. Gilliam is a bruiser, but is mainly a FB. I like Sweeney, at the least as a blocking TE who may make a few grabs. Ultimately I think the Bills will sift through the waiver wire for more depth at TE. 7 WRs may benefit us in the open field, but in goal line and short yardage situations the lack of depth at TE will kill us. No more QB sweeps with Josh, no more RPO, no more power run, dive plays, HB toss plays etc. Where it matters the most we’re literally screwed.
