  1. Well, I think Peterman will open up the playbook, I think our receivers are going to be much more productive, hopefully that opens up running lanes for Shady. It's to early to put to much on Peterman right away, I don't think he will be as productive as Tyrod but at this point we need to see what we got in Peterman because Tyrod is never going to be that guy in Buffalo. It's pretty obvious Tyrod is gone, it makes sense for the future to go with Peterman but I think it hurts our chances this year.
  2. Rookie QBs tend to always struggle, that's not to say that Peterman will suck but I highly doubt he is as good as Tyrod his 1st year. Just a humble assumption on my end.
  3. Short term, we're going to take a step back. Long term, we're taking two steps forward. Tough decision for McD but we need to get Peterman some reps.
  4. We are talking about OL, not Peyton Manning here, get real.
  5. Always remain calm, throwing a tantrum makes you look like a baby. I've been in some really bad situations in life, being calm, patient and composed and think you're way through it. Sometimes the results aren't pretty but you'll make better decisions that can put you in a better position in the future. McAdoo is a !@#$ing bum, I'd be disappointed if McDermott acted like that.
  6. This is lunacy. If Doug Whaley were here, we'd be in the playoffs by now? Come on. The guy couldn't pick a QB to save his life, we would still be without a QB. How about taking MD99 over AJ Green and JJ Watt? Not a very good GM, we fired him out of mercy, he was stuttering towards the end and couldn't even piece together a sentence without freezing.
  7. They went 21-27 over the last 3 years, Payton would be gone if it weren't for this year. Whether that's because of the FO, I don't know but going 21-27 with a HOF QB on your roster is pretty sketchy.
  8. Honestly, I think Sean Payton squandered much of Drew Brees' career. They may sneak out another Super Bowl this year but I really think Brees is the type of caliber player that he should have at least 2-3 rings, he is that good.
  9. Nobody would take on that contract, he'll get a backup contract somewhere in the league.
  10. He doesn't have a rifle but I think his arm is good enough, it comes down to what's between his ears.
  11. It's absolutely worth it. If we can take this year's best QB I think it would be worth a blockbuster deal to get him. We have plenty of cap space to build the OL in free agency.
  12. Last I checked, Jerry Jones and the Cowboys have a couple Super Bowl rings and they're set to go again in the future with Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott. Say what you want about Jones but he knows football, you may not like him as a person or his personality but he is a good owner. As far as Belichick and Kraft go, do you really believe Terry should treat McDermott the same way as Kraft does with Belichick? That's an asinine statement. I'd rather have an owner that collectively studies the game so he can grow and hire better personnel in the future, not some guy that sits there idly hoping for the best.
  13. That's unfortunate, I get that vibe too. I don't think Terry has a clue. Unfortunately for us, that probably means we're probably not going to win a Super Bowl anytime soon.
  14. What does that mean? Of course he's the owner, my major concern with Terry is whether or not he understands football because if he doesn't he is essentially going to hire people with eyes of faith instead of interviewing candidates based off of knowledge and facts. Trusting people at face value is something that should not be done. The less hands on Terry is, the lesser our chances of finding competent coaches and a franchise QB. It's essentially just going to be luck of the draw, kind of like shooting at a target blindfolded.
  15. How does he know he is hiring and trusting the right people then? You need an owner who knows X's and O's otherwise he's not going to bring the right people in.
  16. It's pointless to worry about any other position until we have a franchise QB on the roster.
  17. How to fix the team? The quickest and fastest way to do that is to draft a franchise QB. Going on 18+ years since we've had one. I think even a teenager or small child could have drafted somebody to build around by now. It's up to Terry Pegula to find a QB and coaching staff to be successful. Don't just rely on willfully ignorant advisors like Russ Brandon, Doug Whaley and now Brandon Beane. It's up to Terry to sit down and watch a **** ton of film with Beane over the next 6 months.
  18. I'm honestly surprised this hasn't happened sooner. The team quit?? We completely over performed for the first quarter of the season. We have a roster full of nobody's, I expected 4 wins max, we're probably going to finish with 8.
  19. Taylor is a very good game manager, will never cost you the game but will never win in a shoot out. He is a real good manager, definitely above average, dare I say it, pretty good but will never be a franchise guy although I really like him as a player and a person.
  20. Wow. Probably finished. Still pain after 10 months? I'd still offer the Colts a 2nd, just in case.
  21. In another 30 years I think the NFL will be dead. I think the MLB will turn into an even more lucrative business than it already is. Wouldn't surprise me to see the MLB triple in size.
  22. I don't think it's possible for black people to oppress white people, sure there may be cases where black people have acted racistly against whites, sure there are cases where black people have raped, beaten, robbed and murdered us but at the end of the day we are 70% of the population and many Hispanics identify as white and they are the second largest demographic, black people are what? 13.5% of the population? In another 30 years they'll probably be fully integrated in through breeding with whites and other races. The racial disparities in this country will work itself out over time.
  23. Has anyone tried bumping him inside to guard?
  24. I'm still not sure if OJ did it, Glen Rodgers the serial killer admitted to killing Nicole Brown after a robbery went wrong.
