  1. The top 5 guys are 50/50 and I think that's because they are expected to be the 'guy' and carry a franchise, often with poor rosters. The early 2nd round have a much better success rate than I expected. Is it because they are going to a franchise where they are not expected to carry the franchise and be the 'guy' right away? Or is it because they are going to teams with a better roster around them? Does anybody really think Jimmy Garropolo would be the QB he is today had he went to the Browns and not New England? Having a solid prospect is important but drafting a prospect with a talented team around him is just as equally important to them not busting. I'm not big on expecting a 20 something year old to be a savior, they need to be handled properly. Sit them down behind a professional, build a roster around him and take the pressure off of him. That is just as important as which prospect you draft or where in the draft you take him.
  2. Eric Decker would be nice if the deal is affordable.
  3. It all makes sense now. I never expected him to be an elite WR but I did think he would be a serviceable. I wanted Darboh and Kuup over Zay Jones but it's over with. This makes me respect Zay Jones a bit more, he is definitely no snowflake to be playing hurt like that.
  4. I want Bevell, mainly because McCoy doesn't want to be here but Bevell had a great run in Seattle, the second they traded Max Unger that whole line went down. I think Bevell is at the top of the list, at least how I humbly perceive things.
  5. Thanks for the kindness. Good luck to you and your Bengals. I've always liked the Bengals because I viewed you guys as the underdogs to the Ravens and Steelers, similar to the Bills and Patriots. From an outsider's perspective, be patient with Dalton. I'm not just saying this because he ended our drought, I'm saying this because I wanted the Bills to draft him and I followed him since his TCU days. He is good enough to win a Super Bowl with and he can elevate his team around him. Best of luck to you guys for sure. I hate the Steelers and Ravens!!
  6. Vita Vea is by far a better player.
  7. Dalton is not the problem in Cinci. Marvin Lewis is the one constant. Dalton would take us to the playoffs, but why would they give him up for so little?
  8. Mahomes is going to be more like Brett Favre than Blaine Gabbert. Deshaun Watson got off to a hot start but I still think Mahomes is going to be the crown jewel of that draft class.
  9. Kyle Williams, EJ Gaines and Nick O'Leary I'd love to have back. Kyle obviously means a lot to the city and the fans, a 1 year deal for Kyle would be great. EJ Gaines I'd like to see offered a 4 year deal to stay in Buffalo as long as both sides can come to the table and be happy. Nick O'Leary I still think can be developed into something really special. I've been a fan of his since he was a nobody. Excellent project we can develop with low cost and high reward.
  10. McCoy is probably my 2nd favorite 'modern era' Bill, right behind Kyle Williams.
  11. 1.) Cousins 2.) Keenum 3.) Smith In that order! Cousins is a huge gamble but it could pay off well.
  12. It never works out that way. I can't think of any draft where 5 QBs were taken in the top 20 picks. I'm not saying it's never happened, but without looking at the stat sheets and off the top of my head I can't think of one time that's happened. Most likely I think Rudolph or Mayfield be there at 21. Rosen and Darnold will be gone and it's quite possible somebody falls in love with Allen's arm. Good news is, whoever we draft although they may be the 4th or 5th QB taken, they will be going to a playoff team with loads of draft picks and talent to build around. Whoever we take won't have to do it all by himself like Darnold or Rosen will have to.
  13. Rudolph will be there at 21. In my heart of hearts, I truly think either Rudolph, Allen or Mayfield will be there. Not saying all of them will be there but a decent prospect will be there.
  14. I'd rather trade down! 1. 2. 2. 2. 3. 3. We could build an insane nucleus with all those picks, maybe even draft Rudolph or Allen and sign Alex Smith to mentor for a year or two.
  15. Calvin Ridley from Alabama is a quicker more fluid version of Robert Woods, he would be nice with Benjamin. Some project him as a top 20 pick, I don't. I see him as a top 20-40 pick. YMMV. Equanimeous St. Brown is a highlight reel waiting to happen, he is huge with nice speed, an acrobatic catcher. Christian Kirk reminds me of a poor man's Golden Tate, I'd absolutely love him in the 2-3.
  16. He is a slightly above average WR, he's OK, will never be great but he can be a monster in the red zone. He is a 65-70 reception 1,000 yard receiver but once again, he can get double digits TDs if used to his strengths. Definitely would rather pay him over Robert Woods or Sammy Watkins though.
  17. I want to see Sammy do well, a team like San Francisco would be amazing for him. Garropolo could use an elite talent and Sammy would be the focal point in that offense. Make big bucks and play for an up and coming franchise. His numbers would be scary with Jimmy Garropolo.
  18. He set a record for most INTs in a half, not a very good sign and I never thought he was a good QB even at the collegiate level, let alone the NFL. I think he will be out of the league in less than 5 years.
  19. You believe in him, I don't. Didn't like him as a college QB either.
  20. Peterman deserves to be on the practice squad, he should not be on an active roster, he serves no purpose as a starter or a backup.
  21. Kirk Cousins would be unbelievable, I would overspend for him without even thinking about it. A true franchise QB with a boon to spend in the draft. Think he'd come here?
  22. Outside of Shady, what did he have to work with? Nothing, absolutely nothing. Tyrod is a very bad QB and Peterman is a 5th round pick and should be on the PS. Give Dennison some QB talent to work with (you know they are going to completely overhaul that position), let's see what Dennison does with Alex Smith and a high draft choice, it's not fair to judge him now, the evidence against him is inconclusive at best.
