  1. Crawl before you walk, walk before you run. Playoffs are just a stepping stone, but necessary to winning a Super Bowl. I want consistent playoff appearances, eventually we'll get in. Got to establish a winning culture and a winning environment at One Bills Drive.
  2. I'm ok with Rosen. I think it can pay off, we got the ammo to do it. Plug as many holes as we can in free agency and go all in.
  3. I'm not a fan of trading Glenn, if he can come back even to 80-85%, I think he is too valuable to move, maybe eventually but I think we're a few years too early with this talk.
  4. I'd rather stay put and take Taven Bryan, he would be ideal to pencil down next to Kyle. If Vita Vea fell to 21 though, he obviously should be taken over Bryan, they're both going to be very good. Bryan is more of a penetrator like KW, Vea is more like Marcell Dareus in his prime.
  5. I want Kyle Williams back and draft a star DT with 21 or 22. I like Vita Vea (he'll be gone), but I think Taven Bryan will be there. Kyle Williams is still a very decent starter and I'd like to see us make the playoffs for him one last time before he retires. He just needs somebody next to him, he is not the same, but he can still play.
  6. I liked him too. Reminded me of Favre and if Andy Reid likes him, chances are he will not be a bust.
  7. We had a lame duck GM, he wanted his guy 'Beane' to pick who he wanted, he didn't trust Whaley's thought process on QBs.
  8. As tempting as it is to say 'bring him in', he is older and costs more. I think it would be better value to draft a stud DT like Vita Vea or Taven Bryan. Bring back Kyle Williams for another year, problem solved.
  9. I may be a straight heterosexual male, but I love McDermott!
  10. Reuben Brown, gave me his autograph and got Kelly and Fina to sign too. I was just a 7 year old white kid and he took care of me, will always be grateful for that. Travis Henry, remember hearing his helmet crack into defenders all the way through the TV screen, he's my favorite RB in Bills history, I understand he wasn't the greatest but I just felt he had an admirable style. Schobel was a guy that would have been a HOFer anywhere else, he had a non stop motor and could really bend and get low off that edge.
  11. EDIT: Misread title. Thought it meant to pick who you think will be least likely to bust. Quenton Nelson: Best player in the draft at his position and best OL prospect since Joe Thomas, better than Zach Martin. Pros: - Ideal size - Insane Mauler - Scheme friendly - Brutal - Mean streak - Mobile, great on pulls and as a lead blocker. Cons: - Is a guard and not a left tackle. I'd be shocked if Nelson does not make 7-8 Pro Bowls and dominates for a decade. He would be perfect for the Indianapolis Colts, this is the guy you want protecting Andrew Luck.
  12. The silver lining of it all is if say Darnold, Rosen, Mayfield, Allen and say Jackson go before 21, tons of elite prospects are going to slide down to us.
  13. I like it. Not the player he once was, but still solid. Gotta have a couple vets on the roster. Nothing to lose..
  14. Barkley could go #3, but if I'm the Colts, I don't think I could turn down Quenton Nelson. This is the guy you want protecting Luck. Nelson is my favorite prospect in the draft, best OL talent I've seen since Joe Thomas, he is that good.
  15. I don't think this class is as good as people think, it could turn out that way but Darnold turned the ball over a lot, Rosen's character has been likened to Jay Cutler, Josh Allen only completed 56% of his passes. I think we should wait till RD2. I don't think we should get emotionally invested into the 4th or 5th best guy, we made that mistake with Losman. Eli, Rivers and Big Ben go 1, 2 and 3, then Buffalo burned a 1st on Losman. If it's not there, it's not there.
  16. 1.) EJ Gaines, CB (Buffalo) 2.) Teddy Bridgewater, QB (Minnesota) 3.) John Brown, WR (Arizona)
  17. I love Kyle Lauletta in the 2nd round. I'd actually rather not go QB RD1. I like the idea of burning a 2nd on Lauletta and bringing Fitzpatrick back for a year to mentor him.
  18. Man, too bad Quenton Nelson is a top 10 lock, he is a future HOFer, he is my favorite player in the draft. I think Connor Williams is going to be an All Pro RT as well. If Cordy Glenn is traded, Dawkins and Connor Williams would make for a disgusting OL.
  19. If Denver lands Cousins, if the Giants take Barkley and Rosen is sitting there at 5, I could see a big trade. If we stay put, my top 22 gets really confusing for me. I know we need a QB, but if it comes down to Lamar Jackson or Mason Rudolph, do we want to hitch our wagon to a very questionable prospect? Chances are, if you take a QB in the first, your HC and GM will live by that pick and die by that pick as is the nature of 1st round QBs. Now if one of those guys fell to RD2? It's not a tremendous commitment to them and we can move on quick.
  20. We own 21 and 22 overall. I'm just trying to get a feel for who fans want. (You can play along too.)
  21. Yeah. I'm just curious what your top 22 draft board would look like. I know it's a loaded question, I'm just curious, I understand if you don't have the time to answer, but just off the top of your head, what do you think?
  22. Virgil, what does your top 22 list look like?
  23. We're like fish at the bottom of the ocean waiting for leftovers to sink down to us. We don't know what we're going to be eating, but something is going to drop.
  24. I'm luke warm on the QBs this year. I like Jackson, Rudolph and Lauletta, but I don't love them. I don't think we should spend a 1st on QB because there are too many can't miss prospects at 21 & 22. If we go QB in RD2, we can move on from them in 1 year. Spending a 1st on a QB likely means McD's wagon is hitched to that prospect and I think that could be dangerous. Sure, there's some solid characteristics I like about them, but nobody I'd go all in on.
  25. If Andy Levitre and Nick Mangold had a baby.
