Gettleman is key here. Perhaps he told Beane that if Cleveland goes QB, the Gmen are taking Barkley. This could be the Giants and Bills teaming up to get their guy. Giants want to maim Cleveland into taking a QB, Buffalo wants either Rosen or Darnold. But the key is Gettleman.
Rosen is smart though. I think there is no chance he busts, he may be a disappointment, he may never be a franchise QB, but I think he is starter material. I don't like his attitude, no fire, no competitive attitude. Which is why I'm all in on Mayfield, he is all heart.
I hope we don't spend big money on DT. I'd take KW back at the right price though. Seems like DTs in particular have a tendency of getting lazy after big contracts so I definitely wouldn't break the bank for one.
I can definitely live with a trade up now, much much easier to manage. We will have #2, a 2nd and a 3rd this year and not be on the hook in 2019.
Finally a front office that is worth a damn.
I think this class will produce a few gems, just from a sheer numbers standpoint. I mean Rosen, Mayfield, Darnold, Allen, Jackson, Rudolph, Lauletta, White etc. Too many good prospects for there not to be at least a couple stars.
None of the above, Tom Savage. I loved him as a college player, his stats are decieving, he has not scratched the surface as far as what he can be. He has the potential to be a very good backup that can hold the fort down for a few games.
I wouldn't rule out the Redskins, I know they got Alex Smith, maybe they draft for the future? Cards at 15, Ravens and Chargers may want to move up too.
