  1. Thank God, I really did not want him to come here, he will get paid like a starter and end up on IR midway through the season. I'm hoping for Tom Savage for pennies on the dollar, he would be a great backup behind whoever we draft.
  2. You don't sign a 5 year deal for 30 million, I could be wrong, but you would think that he would sign a 1-2 prove it deal if there was no market for him. 5 years in my mind means that he is being compensated nicely. This is all speculation of course.
  3. With any QB in free agency that's a virtual guarantee. Unless you sign Kirk Cousins or Case Keenum, if we move up to 3 and take Darnold/Rosen/Mayfield like many suspect us to do, the rookie will start right away.
  4. If we trade to 3, not a chance Cleveland passes on QB at 1.
  5. 1.) Cleveland - Sam Darnold 2.) NYG - Saquan Barkley 3.) Buffalo - Josh Rosen 4.) NYJ - Baker Mayfield
  6. I doubt we spend right up to the cap anyways, so what does overpaying by 500k to 1.5m to an all time great matter? At the end of the day, after FA is over, we'll probably have 15 million in cap space that's likely going to go up to 93 million next year.
  7. Slightly over paid, but he is worth it. He is an all time great and a very good #2 DT. Star will be taking the double teams, Kyle won't see double teams anymore and should be pretty productive.
  8. Thank God. Lotulelei and KW is a !@#$ing excellent DL. Hope we aren't done yet though.
  9. I think Nick O'Leary's value will skyrocket with a QB like Darnold or Rosen.
  10. There is nobody at all, at least not to my knowledge.
  11. That's a good point. +1 Kyle Williams bleeds red, white and blue. He is a veteran leader and brings a veteran presence and leadership qualities to the locker room.
  12. Well, it depends on what our doctors think. If he passes a physical and there are no serious concerns, why not? His value is lower right now and I think he would come at a reasonable price because like McDermott and Beane he is a Carolina guy. I think he'll get 10 million a year, I think he would be worth it at that rate. If he asks for more, I'd let him play the season out and if he has a killer year, franchise him and work out a deal.
  13. Benjamin won't get anywhere near what Sammy Watkins and Allen Robinson got, signing him long term won't be a problem, I think.
  14. This also indicates that we are likely not drafting a DT and depending on how active we are in free agency, it may also further cement the idea that we are moving to 2-3 for a QB.
  15. We need stuffers, even if he just eats blocks routinely at 8-9 million a year, that's basically what Marcell Dareus did at 18-19 million a year.
  16. They said the same thing about Dareus too! If Lotulelei comes in and does what Marcell Dareus did at half the price, I can live with that.
  17. I don't want Suh, I want Kyle Williams back and draft a DT. Lotulelei and KW is a very respectable interior.
  18. Thanks. I'm watching highlight videos of him on YouTube, he seemed like a reaaaaaallly good prospect coming out of college, hopefully he returns to form. I'm going to dig around for more videos.
  19. We've been linked to every QB prospect but Mayfield! Therefore, the Bills are targeting Mayfield!
  20. I didn't watch the Panthers last year, can anybody tell me if he's good?
  21. 2018: 12 + 22 + 53 2019: 3rd Just a guess, may have to give up more.
  22. If Cleveland goes QB, the Giants will take Barkley or there will be a deal in place for us to move up to #2 for Rosen or Darnold, Giants go to 3 and take Barkley and load up on extra picks.
  23. If somebody put a gun to my head and made me guess, I think we package 12 and trade up to #3. I think they want Rosen.
  24. Well, no way the Browns take Rosen after he publicly dissed them, if the Browns go QB it won't be him. The fact that we are trading for #3 tells me that Gettleman tipped his hand to Beane and let them know they're taking Barkley at 2. The Giants told us that IMO because they want us to trade up, the Giants want Barkley more than any QB in the draft so if Buffalo goes to #3, it forces the Browns to go QB. If the Browns take Barkley, then Darnold and Rosen come off the board at 2 and 3 and Cleveland is left with Mayfield or Allen at 4. That's how I see it anyways.
