  1. Am I thinking of @Buffalo30 ???? Maybe that's who it was.
  2. When Tre's contract is up, we better back up the Brinks truck for him.
  3. He should stay at #1, just needs to get over the dropsies, he can be a good receiver, he is just in a funk.
  4. You were one of the first on his bandwagon, even before we drafted him. Props to you, I remember you taking a lot of flak for it.
  5. This isn't a told you so thread, I wanted us to draft Allen but I did not expect this. 3 TDs, but should have been 4 but Benjamin dropped that EZ TD. McCloud also dropped that huge bomb. The guy is even better than I thought, I'm glad they were so fearless in the way they used him, I was yelling at my TV telling him to get down every time he ran the ball, the Superman TD run where he hit the pylon was something Cam Newton would do. This is Allen's team, Shady is no longer our best player, Josh Allen is the franchise.
  6. Love that place! I'm HHDS Highschool class of 05. Many many many people here are Giants fans I noticed, probably 60/40 Bills to Giants fan ratio.
  7. There is a Wegmans in Elmira though.
  8. LESS cooperation with police the BETTER! The less you cross paths with law enforcement the better, don't get it twisted.
  9. And when we run Benjamin out of town he'll be a 1,000 yard receiver again!
  10. A 19 year old boy will lose to a 25 year old hardened NFL vet. College players still haven't hit their prime physically.
  11. AB is calling his bluff. He's not going anywhere, Ben loves him.
  12. I'm cautiously optimistic, the tools are there but will he step up or step back as teams collect film on him? Could be Paxton Lynch, could be Cam Newton. It all depends on if he develops mentally and keeps his composure.
  13. I liken him to Joe Flacco as a passer with Big Ben's mobility. He should be an above average passer and long-term starter, nothing great but steady and pretty solid.
  14. His accuracy is better than I imagined, I was expecting a guy that couldn't hit the broad side of a barn but that simply has not been the case! That throw to Benjamin between two defenders for the first down was very encouraging to me, not to mention Allen is very hard to bring down, strong runner, I'd like to see more QB sneaks in short yardage situations, Allen is very good at it. It's only one game though, he WILL have some bad games though but today, the game did not seem too big for him and he did not seem overwhelmed. That's huge to me, the fact that he did not seem overwhelmed today is by far the most encouraging aspect to today's game. I will not jump ship on Allen until it seems like the game is too much for him, until then I will ride it out until he cuts his teeth.
  15. I think the prognosis is very good for Allen, but it's going to be up and down for him until he grows and the roster improves around him.
  16. Joe Thomas?
  17. 1.) Brady 2.) Montana 3.) Rodgers 4.) Manning 5.) Favre 6.) Roethlisberger 7.) Unitas 8.) Staubach 9.) Young 10.) Kelly 11.) Marino
  18. Any stud centers?
  19. Typically coaches get 3 years, if even the best QB gets stuck with a moron coach, yes they can get ruined, look at Andrew Luck, his career would be vastly different with say Sean McVay as his head coach. Luck's career was almost ruined and he is a generational prospect, most QBs aren't good enough to overcome what he has.. If McD and Daboll are morons, Allen will likely bust, only time will tell.
  20. I'd take a 3rd. I'd also only trade Shady to a playoff team so he can chase a title.
  21. I think we have a franchise QB. Beane will have a few years to build the team.
  22. Call Oakland and offer them a 3rd for Amari Cooper.
  23. I'd offer Oakland a 3rd for Amari Cooper, he seems to be on the outs there. Take it or leave it.
  24. This year is going to be about developing our young nuclei, it's all about Allen and Edmunds TBH. And I'd say I'm encouraged that we have our QB of our offense and defense, but 2019 we will have 70 million in cap space and all of our draft picks. We are a young team and we have an extremely young but talented QB, it may take a year, it may take 4 years, but so long as Allen continues to develop, tame that arm and develop mentally, we'll be fine. Allen has an arm like Rodgers, but Rodgers knows when to use touch and finesse, something Allen I think has improved dramatically upon but still has ways to go, he is also anticipating his receivers routes much better but could grow in this area. Overall I think we go as far as Allen takes us and so far I think Allen has been who we drafted him to be, an insanely talented QB that needs to be seasoned, nothing's changed.
  25. Rodgers is fantastic.
