I'm 31, I think many of you here are much older than me. My first Bills game was our 1st Super Bowl, it was like injecting a shot of heroin. Seeing my Dad who was usually angry and pissed off then laughing and singing songs and pretty much seeing my entire family having the time of their lives, it was great man, priceless memories to me. It was a long time ago but it's why I became a Bills fan in the first place, I want the young Bills fans today to get to experience the same euphoria I did as a kid, the 90s was a hell of an introduction to this team for me.

I may be a bit a of a lone-wolf here opinion-wise, but for your sake, I'll check once more.. <rummages around in catch-all drawer in the kitchen> Nope. Don't have a !@#$ to give about what OBJ does on the sidelines.

If the NFL expands, from my perspective it would make sense to expand to countries near you ie Mexico and Canada. Geographically it just makes too much sense, travelwise it would make more sense. People blast Mexico, but there are actually some really nice areas. Crystal blue waters, beaches, beautiful women, extremely cheap cost of living. Even a UDFA making 500k a year would live like a king there. I think it could work.

I'd support a franchise in Mexico for sure, that could be good clean fun and ease tension between us. London though? How would that work?

My personal vow regarding Josh Allen: Who is with me
ghostwriter replied to Like A Mofo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Count me in too. We may know sooner though if he starts to dominate, but 1st year doesn't count, too many great QBs SUCKED their rookie years, the list is astronomical. I'd actually go as far to say that more good QBs have been bad year 1 than good. -
Week 6 predictions: Bills at Texans
ghostwriter replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills 27 Texans 6 Allen goes off this week. 18/26 252yds passing 3 TD -
He can be if used properly. Will he a 3 down back again? Probably not, but he can still be a difference maker. Have Murphy and Ivory get the crap kicked out of them on 1st and 2nd down, but when it's 3rd down and we really need to get that 1st down, McCoy goes into the backfield. McCoy also goes in within the 20 yard line and clutch situations. Do that and he'll probably average over 4.5ypc and be a 1st down machine, redzone threat, clutch player and veteran leader. He has value.

Our 3rd will be an early 3rd, their better 2nd will probably be a later 2nd. I don't think that's a good deal for us. I'd give them Shady for a 2nd and I think Shady himself could understand that. Once again, we're talking about a RB that would be a 1st down machine if used as our 3rd down back. Draft a RB high to take the beating on 1st and 2nd down, Shady comes in on 3rd down and clutch situations. He would make more money here than he would anywhere else. I think Sproles got 6.5 million/yr, I'd give Shady slightly more than that. Would probably keep him playing at a high level for another 2-3 years easy.
-
I'd draft a RB extremely high and restructure Shady's contract so he is the highest paid 3rd down back in the NFL. Could you imagine that? He lost a step but he has enough left that I think he can be a dominant 3rd down guy, he'd thrive in that role. Alas, his career is reborn again as a Darren Sproles/Kevin Faulk back. It would add a lonnnnnnng time to his career and he wouldn't have to take a huge paycut.
-
If what you say is true, why trade him at all? We have a TON of cap space next year, Shady likes it here, he's a good guy, fans love him and we can put him in a rotation and get another 3 years out of him. Restructure his contract and use him as a 3rd down back like Darren Sproles. He has value to us, don't take a 3rd, 4th or 5th for him, we want him here.

How often do "project" quarterbacks work out?
ghostwriter replied to Klaista2k's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh, yes, the Panthers weren't even sure about him, when I heard they were shopping the #1 pick, I wanted Buffalo to go up from #3. Anyways yeah. People highly questioned whether or not he'd be a complete QB. Our definition of project QB is completely different by the way. Your definition fits under my spectrum but my definition is simply a QB that is insanely talented with major holes in his game. A project QB can and has started right away before in the past.
