  1. Bell is better than Gurley. Bell is like Thurman Thomas.
  2. No you can't. Occasionally a team will get lucky but you won't find a back that gets 1,000 yards on the ground and 1,000 yards in the air. You'll have a hard time finding anyone close. Bell still got lots of tread on them tires. Our offense would improve vastly, especially for Allen. Dump the ball off to Bell 100 times a year and that easily gives Allen 1,000 yards + passing.
  3. Shady is done, a move will be made there either way, regardless of a Bell signing or not.
  4. Bell is the best RB in the NFL and he had a year off. I'd take him over Kamara or Gurley. 4-year deal, ride him hard until he breaks down.
  5. Bell is a bit of an egotist, for sure. But that's a good thing! We need more of that. We got room for a player like that. Those kind of guys are good to have in moderation. Any person that is gifted the way Bell is will have a huge ego and rightfully so. Bring him in and give him 400 touches.
  6. Shady has more baggage than Bell.
  7. We rode McCoy to the playoffs and LeVeon Bell is a better RB than Shady. Shady's career is winding down now, need to move on. Dump everyone but Marcus Murphy, sign Bell, draft another midround RB.
  8. Could be a part of it, but still. Bell is like having a 1,000 rusher and a 1,000 yard receiver in one player. That equates to Buffalo getting more yards, which we desperately need.
  9. Packers rarely ever go after free agents. Jets suck. Colts I don't know enough to comment on.
  10. Let's say we finish 8-8, Allen plays great to finish the season. Buffalo looks like a team that is going to compete for a long time. We would suddenly become an attractive destination for many FAs. We also have a ton of cap space to work with and our offense lacks a playmaker. Why not Bell? Give him what he wants, Buffalo now has the best RB in the NFL. Build that OL in the draft and free agency. Buffalo adds a guy that regularly puts up 2,000 all purpose yards a season. Hopefully Zay and Foster continue to develop alongside Allen and I could definitely see us making a playoff push. Bell gets a 4 year deal, his contract would be up around the same time Josh Allen's is, so no conflict there. Definitely think offense would not be a problem anymore.
  11. Definitely can be an electrifying #3. He's proved it.
  12. 90% of the time he won't even need all that juice, but in situations like that bomb to Foster yesterday where he was being brought down by 3 defenders and with just a flick of his wrist he connects on a 75 yard bomb, it certainly helps. He needs to work on touch and finesse more than anything though and his completion % will go up.
  13. It feels like Allen is a foot taller than everyone who tries to tackle him. Allen seems to be extremely durable.
  14. So long as Allen does not take big hits, run as much as you like. When he makes big runs the confidence carries over into the passing game. Allen seems to settle down after he takes a hit, he seems to embellish it and talk ***** to defenders after the fact. I say let him do it. I expect him to be more of a passer next year but as a rookie QB, I'm fine with it and feel it should be a big part of our game plan. If Allen repeats this production going forward we finish between 8-8 and 9-7. Possibly a wildcard birth.
  15. Edmunds was abused repeatedly until Fournette was benched. An otherwise good LB tho.
  16. I'd turn him loose until the game slows down some. Until then keep finding them running lanes. 2 TDS 0 INTS 259 yards offense. Against a top defense too. Had some success against a top 3 CB. If he repeats this performance 5 more times we'll be in the playoffs at 9-7.
  17. The Foster bomb. The 32 yard jump ball Benjamin got on Ramsey. Ramsey getting blocked out of a run TD.
  18. He is trending upward I'd say. Shows flashes of stardom. I'll stand by this thread. Allen will be a star.
  19. Rather be Buffalo. If we play it smart we can fix the OL no problem and we will have plenty of cap to sign LeVeon Bell. Our offense truly needs a superstar. We have no QB to pay. By the time we begin contract talks with Allen (if he even makes it that far), Bell's contract would be up. That definitely makes our offense decent. Hopefully Zay continues to grow. Definitely sign a few veterans at WR as well like Tavon Austin and John Brown. Aggressively trade down and draft 4-5 linemen.
  20. This is a rather good draft for OL. I'd rather draft a bunch of elite prospects in a deep draft than to spend money there. Trade down not only once but twice if you have to. Elgton Jenkins should be our 1st pick and hopefully at the bottom of RD1. Too many good OL prospects RDS1-4 to mention. Load up. Sign LeVeon Bell to run behind our elite OL. Go after John Brown and Tavon Austin to go with Zay at WR. I'd offer EJ Gaines a contract to come back but Buffalo could also look to Bradley Roby perhaps. Definitely bring back Matt Barkley on a 2 yr deal and draft a midround QB to develop behind them.
  21. There's good free agent CBs we can sign, same can't be said for G, C and RT, three of our biggest needs. Bare cupboard for this FA OL class. Got to draft at least 3. I think there are also a couple of decent FAs at WR as well. Tavon Austin on a cheap prove it type of deal and go after John Brown hard, offer him Robert Woods money. Yeah CB and WR should be addressed in FA, there's decent options there. Take the rest of our needs to the draft.
  22. You don't think someone will want Lock or Herbert? I think that's the best case scenario. Dropping down 10 spots and taking Marquise Brown. There will be at least 2-3 high quality OL prospects available in the 2nd. Elgton Jenkins or one of those Wisconsin boys. This is the year to trade down for sure, the 2nd round is where we need as many picks as possible. Trade down twice if you have to.
  23. I think he'll be gone. Some team will need a LT. Doubt he'll be there. Marquise Brown is who I want. Wouldn't mind Elgton Jenkins in the 2nd, he'll be a 10 year pro at center just like Eric Wood or better.
  24. Gotta play the board though. Many people don't like Marquise Brown because of his size, that alone drops him out of the top 10 I think. Unless he comes into the combine at 180 and still insanely fast and explosive. Could happen. I've been clamoring for Marquise Brown just as long as anyone here has, just trying be smart about position while possibly stockpiling additional picks.
  25. I'd simply trade down and grab some extra picks. No WR will most likely go in the top 10. We could trade down to 10-12, pickup a 2nd and some picks for 2020 and still get our pick of the top WRs. That way we can also take a couple of premier defenders in the 2nd/3rd while still fixing up our offense at the same time. I'd go down to #10 and just take Marquise Brown there. It's looking more and more like a trade down. Bills are the ideal trading partner for a team looking to come up.
