  1. It says he's 168lbs, he just needs to add 10-12lbs. Desean Jackson did okay at a similar size as did Antonio Brown and OBJ. If I was Buffalo I'd be targeting Tavon Austin this off-season, between Zay, Marquise and Tavon we'd be in good shape I think.
  2. Yeah but Antonio Brown isn't the biggest guy either, Marquise Brown can play.
  3. Trade down 10 spots and pick up a bunch of picks and take Marquise Brown from Oklahoma. This guy will be the next OBJ.
  4. We won't fire McDermott out of formality, although we should. Sooner we get a better coach to work with Allen the better.
  5. Sure it would! Our offense would be stabilized with Fitz, no longer would we be last in the league. Can't think of a better guy than Fitzpatrick to help with Allen. That would be a pretty decent QB stable.
  6. That just seems not fair at all and harsh. Rodgers didn't go in the top 10, he nearly fell out of the 1st round, nobody thought this guy was going to be this good, nobody. McCarthy coached him, the staff he put together in general to support Rodgers was top notch, the QB he drafted and developed pretty much exceeded all expectations and oh yeah, did I mention he has a Lombardi trophy too?
  7. Brett Favre didn't exactly take Rodgers under his wing, Favre was actually a huge ***** towards Aaron Rodgers. McCarthy developed Rodgers and correct me if I'm wrong Green Bay has struggled on D but have been great on O, McCarthy is the inverse of Coach McDermott, keep Frazier around to keep the defense top notch, all of a sudden we have a good O and good D.
  8. He developed Rodgers though. He developed one of the greatest QBs of all time, you'd be crazy not to want him.
  9. Yeah because having the coach who groomed Aaron Rodgers is a bad thing, if McCarthy does get fired it'd be stupid not to bring him in. Keeping Frazier guarantees that Tre White and Edmunds don't get traded or cut loose by the next regime.
  10. Hell, how about we just keep Leslie Frazier as DC, fire McDermott and the rest of the staff, hire Mike McCarthy to be our HC and OC. I think McCarthy/Frazier would be a good combo and there would be zero roster turnover on defense, less money tied up into contracts, same playbook, our players get even more comfortable in our current scheme, our entire defensive staff including players and coaching staff all keep their jobs, continue to build a culture on defense. There would be no rebuilding, we would simply reload. Josh Allen would have a good coach in Mike McCarthy, would love to have him in his ear.
  11. I would absolutely take Fitz back. What would I give up? I don't know, probably not too much I know that, but a 6th or 7th? Sure thing. Let him finish his career as a Bill, he can start for us and mentor Josh Allen at the same time.
  12. What is there to like? I don't buy the no talent thing, he had a solid prospect in Josh Allen. Benjamin, Shady and Clay have all produced steadily throughout their careers but when Daboll gets hired all of a sudden they can't play anymore! These same guys will get cut and then blossom somewhere else, that's just the way it goes for Buffalo.
  13. In all honesty, we still need veteran leadership at QB. Derek Anderson is not the guy, Nate Peterman is not the guy, give me Ryan Fitzpatrick. Buy Allen lots of time, between Fitz and JA we would probably be a middle of the road offense in the NFL which is a big improvement from where we're at now. Could actually compete, (I think), especially if we have a top 10 defense, could definitely win some games for sure. Would also let Groy walk and overpay Kalil to come here, put a 10yr NFL veteran 5 Pro Bowls, yes please. Keep Bodine as our backup center and our interior should be anchored pretty good. One last FA I like is Tavon Austin, he's not going to blow anybody away but I think he could be a great #3 and would pair up nicely with Zay Jones and say an elite WR with that 1st pick. Wouldn't mind Marquise Brown, all of a sudden we have 2-3 decent options at WR, good place to be. Basically I want long time NFL vets sprinkled into this offense, those kind of guys lead the team in the right direction. We have plenty of youth, plenty. We need some experience.
  14. If it was a big picture and it was framed and signed I would definitely cough up some money for it but it would all depend on the dimensions of the photograph. I think an aerial picture of RWS with Kelly's autograph along with some of the other great 90s Bills would be a hot item.
  15. How about LeVeon Bell? Sign him to a front loaded contract we can get out of in 3-4 years. If we're going to overpay, may as well overpay on the best RB in the NFL.
  16. I'd like to have Ryan Fitzpatrick come back to Buffalo for a few years and given a chance to compete. Ryan Khalil is a little long in the tooth but I would absolutely love him in the middle of our OL. Give me Tavon Austin, isn't his fault he got overpaid, still a good player, Bills should make him a strong offer, we will have to overpay any free agent we sign but these are the guys I like.
  17. Will McD make it to next year? The seat is heating up, we're 2-5, if McD continues up with this butt ***** I don't know if he'll be able to walk.
  18. I don't trust them with the offense and I don't like Daboll, our only hope is McDermott fires him but that will be his third coach in three years which in return would make me question if McD is mentally capable of building an offense to begin with. I'm beginning to think McD is really a glorified DC that should not be a HC in the NFL.
  19. It's not even just the play calls it's like some of the most basic and vanilla run blocking designs too, OL pretty much never do any designs that are fun and clever, no thought, no wit or intellect was put into any blocking formations or play calling.
  20. No player will fix our offense, not until we completely gut the offensive coaching staff and replace them with people who are actually good at what they do.
  21. Thing is even McCarron and Anderson struggled mightily in this offense, those two guys may not be All-Pros but they've had legitimate NFL careers. Nobody looks good in this offense, Daboll is the problem, he can't get anything going.
  22. Derek Carr would be very very nice, would pretty much guarantee we end up with a franchise QB. I'd offer Oakland two 2nds, but I wouldn't give up our 1st.
