Zay Jones - Coming Around Nicely
ghostwriter replied to PolishPrince's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not so sure he can't be a #1. Zay is 6'2 and runs amazing routes and can catch in traffic. He can be a possession guy and redzone threat. Will he be a burner? Probably not, but he can score points and pickup 1st downs. We need a splashy #2 that can challenge Zay Jones for targets and can grow into a #1. Marquise Brown in RD2 and I'd feel good about WR. -
We Are In Good Shape. Who Would You Dump Next Year?
ghostwriter replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
On offense I'd keep Josh Allen, Matt Barkley, Marcus Murphy, Zay Jones, Isaiah McKenzie, Robert Foster, Dion Dawkins and Russell Bodine. Everyone else needs to go. -
Has the light finally gone on for Zay Jones?

Cheer up Zay. This is just the beginning baby. Look forward to the Allen to Jones highlight reels over the next 10 years. Hope he has a big game next week. -
Zay Jones - Coming Around Nicely

2 TDs and a 2pt conversion is not just a quarter for some guys. Few WRs get 2 TDs a game. Zay Jones gives Allen a lifeline. How about that 3rd and long that Zay caught walking a tightrope down the sideline. Then he went back to him with 1 minute left in the 4th and Zay nearly hung onto it to beat the Phins. Yesterday was hopefully the start of something between Allen/Zay. I need to see this again and again and again. Could be the start of a 10 year thing. The stats and accolades will come. -
2019 draft Wish List(trade back)
ghostwriter replied to MakeBuffaloGreatAgain's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like the players you took. The rounds they were taken in is the only thing I'd tweak but I count 4 starters. Hopefully this draft comes with LeVeon Bell in FA. He'd have lanes to run behind with that OL for sure. -
Id go CB2, SLB, EDGE, TE, RB in free agency. If we go into this draft needing WRs and OL with 10 picks we could have a feast. Williams or Little at RT with that first pick is where it needs to go. I like the Wisconsin kids. I like the Mississippi state kids. This draft seems to be deep with a lot of blue chip players at OL and WR. No spectacular talents but blue chips guys RDS 2-5.
-
I want us to go to the draft for OL.
-
There is no LeVeon Bell in this draft, no player of that caliber. We need a playmaker.. Why not give Allen a young Thurman Thomas?

Green Bay Packers: HC Mike McCarthy fired
ghostwriter replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Zay is becoming a safety net for Allen. Sure you can bring in a rookie but they'll go through the growing pains Zay did when he was a rookie! Zay is our #1 now and most likely will be next year too. Take Harry or Brown in the 2nd. -

Yeah but RB, OL and TE are worse! Zay Jones has a bright future, as does McKenzie and Foster. Sure we could use an impact guy but we got a few pieces right now. -

I like Zay, Foster and McKenzie.... those three guys are fine by me. -

We've been explosive since Allen came back. Our problem is RB, OL, TE. -
I think we'll be picking 10. I want Jonah Williams or Greg Little. Anything to patch up the OL. 1.) Greg Little, T, Ole Miss 2.) Marquise Brown, WR 3.) Elgton Jenkins, C, Mississippi State 4.) Darryl Williams, OG, Mississippi State 4.) Beau Benzschawel, OG, Wisconsin Sign LeVeon Bell. Think he could do well behind that OL. Marquise Brown would be a perfect compliment to Zay Jones. Think we'd be ok there. Brown and Bell know each other too.
-
There are no accuracy problems STOP!!!!!!! Look how much the elite QBs dump off to their RBs 125x a season a 1yd pass for 10yds. If Allen hits McCoy for a 1yd pass 9/10 he gets dropped for -1. Our OL and RBs are extremely bad. Only good guy between the two units is Dion Dawkins.
-
Zay Jones will have a 1,000yd season with Allen probably next year. Allen is a 4,000yd passer I think in 2019, Zay will continue to be Allen's favorite target, more targets cause he trusts him. Bills need to draft Marquise Brown and sign LeVeon Bell. Draft 4 OL. Need more production out of RB.
-
They'll have many many opportunities to correct this. Today was profound. This was the first time Josh Allen and Zay Jones wreaked havoc on a NFL secondary. Big boy accomplishment. Now they did it once, they know they can do it again.
-
Ditto. He can be very nice player though indeed. Certainly a guy I'd want to have hang around.
-
I waited all year for this and it finally happened was so nice to see. 2 TDS + the 2pt conversion. Breakout game for Allen. Breakout game for Zay. I know we lost, but this is what you want to see from those guys. Next year is looking good.

I EXPECT a BIG GAME from Josh vs. the Dolphins
ghostwriter replied to PUNT750's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Allen has thrown plenty. Allen's problem is he always goes for the big play, he's never content with checking it down. Elite NFL QBs check down to their RBs 8x a game. Allen never does it. -
Parris Campbell: the next NFL X-Factor
ghostwriter replied to YoloinOhio's topic in College Football
Boy, that sure sounds good. We desperately need a receiving back maybe even more than a #1 WR. Kamara, McCaffery, Bell, Connor, Hill etc. All these guys are good for 75 receptions that usually go for 7-10YAC and an easy 1st down. Allen's 52% would go up to 62-63% overnight. -
2019 Mock Drafts and top prospects
ghostwriter replied to thunderingsquid's topic in College Football
1. Greedy Williams, CB, LSU 2. N'Keal Harry, WR, Arizona State 3. David Edwards, OT, Wisconsin 4. Tyler Biadasz, C, Wisconsin 4. Darryl Williams, G, Mississippi State 5. Trayveon Williams, RB, Texas A&M 5. Parris Campbell, WR, OSU -
I'm a lot bigger than Hunt, not once had I ever had to lift a finger to make my point. If you feel you have to get violent then perhaps you should rethink your position more thoroughly. The fight itself was silly but I question the man's mental development. I don't want intellectually weak players on our team. I want a smart team.

Robert Foster pays it forward to a young fan!
ghostwriter replied to The Poojer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Starting to sound like we got a draft gem. Two 100yd games and it's amazing how raw he is. Sounds like a good guy off the field too. He didn't have to do that. Hope he stays hungry. Would like to see Robert Foster put up a couple more 100yd games. -
View From the Other Side: Phins view of Allen
ghostwriter replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Allen is like a foot taller than everyone trying to tackle him, it's comical. Next year he better not run like that though but I completely agree with him doing it in his rookie year. Eventually you'd like to see him give his RB a chance to take some of these dumpoffs for 7-10 yards. Some QBs dump off 125 times a year to their RBs, Allen never does it. He's leaving lots of easy yards on the table. -
LeVeon Bell: What better fit for him than Buffalo?
ghostwriter replied to ghostwriter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Everybody compares Josh Allen to Cam Newton, well here's a Cam Newton stat for you: Cam Newton without McCaffery 2015: 59.8% 2016: 52.9% Cam Newton with McCaffery 2017: 59.1% 2018: 69.6%
