Thoughts on Allen Pre Injury vs Post
ghostwriter replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I had it: Mayfield Allen Darnold Rosen Jackson Wouldn't trade Allen for Mayfield for anything now though. If you think his adjustments post injury were great I think you're going to be pleased with Josh Allen year two. -
Is Brian Daboll a HC candidate in Green Bay?
ghostwriter replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McDaniels will be the next HC of the Patriots. The Packers should go after Marvin Lewis from Cincinnati. He always makes the playoffs with a middling QB in Andy Dalton. Give Marvin Lewis a top 5 QB in Rodgers and he will wipe the floor with the NFL. -
Murphy can get you 8-10 sacks when he's healthy and I haven't given up on Lawson yet he was a 1st round pick. They can hold down that LE spot just fine.
-
I'm fine with Hughes, Lawson and Murphy. Think we can get decent production there if we squeeze hard enough.

Julio Jones and the 2019 Bills
ghostwriter replied to Estelle Getty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No thanks I'd rather pay LeVeon Bell and draft Marquise Brown and a mid round guy like Parris Campbell. Add some OL in FA, add some OL in the draft. We need young unproven guys that are talented and on rookie contracts. Let's grow our own superstars in the draft. Save that money for Milano and Tre, they need to eat soon. -
This is the part of football nobody likes. When you see a player of LeSean McCoy's caliber decline. Borderline HOF back. With that said RB is holding back Josh Allen. Under no capacity do I want McCoy or Ivory back. Give me three 5th round RBs and it's a vast upgrade over what we have. There's no juice left to squeeze.

The Best Thing about the Dolphins Game.
ghostwriter replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've never seen anything like Josh Allen. Out of all the scrambling QBs to ever play the game from Otto Graham up to now. Allen is the freakiest I've ever seen. Only other QB I've seen that can do what Allen does was Michael Vick. As a passer he's improved since coming back from his injury. Benefitted from Derek Anderson and Matt Barkley. People think he's inaccurate because of his completion %. The reason his completion % is down because he throws more difficult passes and never takes the easy dump offs. He's getting better in that area though. -
Do Bills fans have a napoleon complex?

Liked Fitz. Liked Tyrod. Allen is an alien from space. -
Zay Jones - Coming Around Nicely
ghostwriter replied to PolishPrince's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's also 6'2 with feet of a ballerina, he can be a red zone weapon. People did the same thing to Robert Woods. How he is nothing more than a #2 and he'll never be a #1. Guess what? He's one of the main guys over there on a playoff team. Same thing would happen with Zay. Slightly different skill sets, but similar draft position and similar labels were placed on them unfairly. Yes he can be a #1, he is right now and you can draft someone in the 1st round but they ain't going to beat out a 3 year pro. Just rejoice that Allen has a legit NFL receiver to throw to. -
Zay Jones - Coming Around Nicely
ghostwriter replied to PolishPrince's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It can take a couple years for a WR to find himself. Some dominate right away, others do not for various reasons. Zay never had a QB until now, that's the difference. What happened yesterday will happen again and again. Also, keep in mind we have an inadequate and impotent OL, that has effected our passing game. We are not the Pittsburgh Steelers the Buffalo Bills are coming straight from the gutter, the entire offense has to be built from the ground up. We did not have a 15 year veteran QB like Drew Brees or Ben Roethlisberger, we had Nathan Peterman and AJ McCarron. Of course other receivers have found success sooner but if you put them here they'd look like Zay. -

Never said he'll do it this year, next year most likely. I said Zay will have a few more big games over the remaining 4 games. This is his first year with our rookie QB. Got it? Half the season Allen didn't even play because his throwing arm almost got ruined. You expect Zay to put up 1,000 in 2018? Hahahahahahaha. That's not how the world works. -
Zay Jones - Coming Around Nicely

His development is normal. WR is a position where there tends to be a learning curve and I think he's starting to shine. Season is not over yet, if it's stats you care about I think you'll be satisfied over the next 4 games of the season. Zay is ready to ascend. He's capable of being a #1. We did this to Woods, we did this to Watkins. Zay is good enough for me and he should be for you he's a good receiver. He is the #1 until you beat the 1. Also, I'm not sure your 1st round WRs this year can beat out Zay Jones. -
It's nice hearing the Phins players say nice things, but they were dirty af all game long. It was like they were trying to end Allen's career. Football is a brutal sport but the hits to the head and lower legs was *****. The three timeouts in a row before half was *****. Why go there? Just a classless organization. Hate them more than New England or the Jets.

We Are In Good Shape. Who Would You Dump Next Year?
ghostwriter replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Robiskie has done well with Zay Jones, Robert Foster and Isaiah McKenzie. Those three guys will be core guys in 2019. Juan Castillo OTOH had nothing to work with whatsoever. He put out good lines in Buffalo before with Wood and Cog. Crossman though I agree needs to go. -
McDermott is also in his 2nd year. Year 3 I expect playoffs, possibly even win the division. Our defense is good, we got a franchise QB and we got 90 million dollars and 10 draft picks to shape our offense. Allen seems to like Daboll's offense so that's all that matters. Allen was a Brady fan, I'm sure he's studied him profusely, now he has a coach who worked with him and he can play in the same offense. Mike McCarthy belongs in Cleveland, not Buffalo. Baker Mayfield and Mike McCarthy is a match made in heaven. Anyways, OBD is sitting pretty. Three weeks ago I would have agreed but we're coming along just fine now.

McD is so close to turning this around. No other coach on the planet deserves the job more.

Noah Fant - TE Iowa - Should Bills pick at 8
ghostwriter replied to Sanners's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm a big fan of Caleb Wilson from UCLA, he's a projected 3rd. -
We need a receiver at RB. Someone who can add 1,000 yards to the passing game. Allen can run, he needs someone he can dump 1yd passes to for a 1st down. We are a passing team. No RBs unless they can catch please.

Now is the perfect time to move on. Ivory needs to go too. Also, why is Murphy never used? He seems like he could provide a boost, why is he on the bench? We need to evaluate him. Do we need two backs or three?

Zay Jones - Coming Around Nicely
ghostwriter replied to PolishPrince's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm sure the entire offense is getting gutted. I'm salivating over all our cap space and draft picks. I'm starting to believe in the process again. We can easily fix everything on offense. If mock draft hacks such as myself and many others can put out fantastic mock drafts and mock offseasons what do you think coach McD is going to do? -
Zay Jones - Coming Around Nicely
ghostwriter replied to PolishPrince's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Absolutely. I like looking at it from that pov as well. Targets determine how a defense will react. More than anything we need a Kamara or McCaffery over a TE or WR though. Even more than Marquise Brown. We need an all purpose back. Someone who is going to put up 2,000 yards from the LOS. If the Bills were smart they'd dump Shady and Ivory and sign LeVeon Bell and draft another guy RDs 4-5. That right there is what we need. I'm not saying we don't need another WR or TE because we do but RB needs to be fixed first. -
Zay Jones - Coming Around Nicely

Zay is the type of guy who moves the chains and can score in the red zone. Once again he nearly had 3 TDs yesterday, that's what you want from a #1. I think Zay will put up 1,000yards next year or close to it. Granted it'll be at 11yac but still there's nothing wrong at all with 10 yards and a 1st down. He can be a 10TD guy. Once again, he is a big WR in the red zone, big 6'2 target and has wonderful feet. We need a splashy #2. -
Zay Jones - Coming Around Nicely

I'm not so sure he can't be a #1. Zay is 6'2 and runs amazing routes and can catch in traffic. He can be a possession guy and redzone threat. Will he be a burner? Probably not, but he can score points and pickup 1st downs. We need a splashy #2 that can challenge Zay Jones for targets and can grow into a #1. Marquise Brown in RD2 and I'd feel good about WR. -

On offense I'd keep Josh Allen, Matt Barkley, Marcus Murphy, Zay Jones, Isaiah McKenzie, Robert Foster, Dion Dawkins and Russell Bodine. Everyone else needs to go. -
Has the light finally gone on for Zay Jones?
ghostwriter replied to KOKO NFL's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Cheer up Zay. This is just the beginning baby. Look forward to the Allen to Jones highlight reels over the next 10 years. Hope he has a big game next week.
