Where are you on the spectrum??
ghostwriter replied to Dadonkadonk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Baker Mayfield is putting up great numbers for a rookie, next year he is probably throwing for 40TDs with less INTS. That's within a margin you'd expect from Brees. You draft QBs #1 overall or #7 overall because you think they can perform at an elite level. Allen will probably put up similar overall yards and total TDs as Mayfield but more of it will be on the ground instead. New guys are taking over man. -
Lorax - should he be extended?
ghostwriter replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bring him back on a 1yr deal, but draft a young player to put behind him. -

Allen and Mayfield will be the two players talked about from the 2018 draft. Mayfield will put up Drew Brees production next year most likely. I think Allen can do better. -

No I wouldn't. Mayfield has a Drew Brees like ceiling. I just think Allen has a higher ceiling than that. Brady's career is winding down, Buffalo needs to go in for the kill and take over the division. Tannehill and Darnold do not stand a chance. Buffalo could hold down the division for the foreseeable future. -
OK. I'll Say It-Allen will be best Bills QB ever
ghostwriter replied to beacon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let's start by winning the division next year. -
Maybe Darnold benefits from the time off? Darnold can be a good QB, just not capable of doing some of the stuff Josh Allen does. He'll be a better QB than Tannehill tho.

Zay Jones +/- first 100 Yard Game
ghostwriter replied to RocCityRoller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is a #1 right now though and Zay isn't finished developing. Still a young player. I'd like to see his volume increased. Bills should draft a few guys but I don't think even a 1st round pick would beat out Zay Jones for WR1 next year. Don't see any free agents that could challenge Zay Jones for that job either. Marquise Brown and Parris Campbell would be nice though. Either of them could play second fiddle to Zay. -

He was the 3rd QB taken, but I'd rather have him over Mayfield and Darnold. Allen can make special plays with his arm or his legs. Every throw no matter how difficult is on the table. -
1.) Matt Paradis, C, Broncos 79.0 rating: good #3 center 2.) Rodger Saffold, G, Rams 71.9 rating: good #13 guard 3.) Ramon Foster, G, Steelers 70.8 rating: good #16 guard

Paradis should be our #1 target and we need to walk away with either Foster or Saffold. Take a LT with our 1st and plug them in on the right side and leave Dawkins alone. LT. Dion Dawkins LG. Beau Benzschawel C. Matt Paradis RG. Ramon Foster RT. Greg Little

Bills fans thoughts on our meltdown this year?
ghostwriter replied to Ice bowl 67's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Marvin Lewis immediately comes to mind. Long track record of playoff football with average QB play. He'd actually build up a team around Rodgers. -
Julio Jones and the 2019 Bills
ghostwriter replied to Estelle Getty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Veterans are important. We're having a youth movement but it's important to keep vets stashed strategically throughout the roster. Look at Lorax, lengthy career, it took til Buffalo until he became the difference maker he is. He honestly feels like a longtime Bill like Kyle W. They keep the 21yo kids on track, teach them how to be a pro. The problem is Atlanta will want two 1sts. No thank you. Age is not the problem, I'd love to have him otherwise. -
Bills have released Kelvin Benjamin and Andre Holmes

Zay Jones has been our #1 all year. This changes nothing. Hopefully we get Foster and McKenzie more involved that'd be great. Robert Foster hit a few big plays but I'd like to see more catches too even if it's just 10 yards. McKenzie is a guy Allen should be using more. I thought McKenzie was a great pickup by Beane. Give them another offseason to work on their craft, even without the draft our WRs in 2019 will be improved. -
Absolutely....... Hey, LeVeon Bell is available! What better weapon for Allen? 1,100 rushing / 1,000 receiving. As as far as the draft, the article, Brandon Beane drafting DL.......... Would not upset me if we drafted Josh Allen from Kentucky or Clelin Ferrell from Clemson. Greedy Williams opposite of Tre White is also highly palatable. If they can add a high end C and a RT in free agency we can go into the draft just needing guard, we have more options.

Allen makes plays few can make. Allen just needs to master the short attack. He's gotten a lot better there but some of it is roster/personnel. When your RB gets dropped like a sack of potatoes every time you throw to him? Yeah, you look a lot worse than you are. If you were to upgrade that OL and gave him 2-3 backs he can throw to he'll look like the GOAT. Allen is so gifted he always goes for the difficult throw, there needs to be more balance. Sometimes you need to take the easy 5yds. Too bad there isn't a RB on the roster that can do that for him.

Thoughts on Allen Pre Injury vs Post
ghostwriter replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anderson you hope would never take a shot he's old, but as a 3rd stringer he should be safe from action. Barkley is 28 though, he can take a hit. If Allen goes down Barkley can hold the fort down no problem. Allen was extremely raw coming out, makes sense to have all that experience behind him. Wouldn't change a thing. I'd extend Barkley right now if I was them.
