  1. FA: 1.) LeVeon Bell, RB to 3yrs 54m. 2.) John Brown, WR 4yr 32m 3.) Matt Barkley, QB 2yr 4m 4.) John Miller, OG 1yr 1m 5.) EJ Gaines, CB2 2yrs 8m Draft: Trade down 1.) Elgton Jenkins, OC, Mississippi State 2.) Bryce Love, RB, Stanford 2.) David Edwards, RT, Wisconsin 3.) Beau Benzschawel, OG, Wisconsin 4.) TE 4.) Defense 5.) Defense 5.) Defense 6.) Defense 6.) Defense 7.) WR 7.) WR
  2. He'd generate more receiving yards, first downs and touchdowns than Zay Jones. Definitely be our leading receiver. 75 catches minimum and it'd be easy 1 yard throws for Allen. He's also a great RB too. Somebody you can build a team around. If he wants 18 million, give him 18 million. Pay him what he wants, 400 touches a year minimum.
  3. His production is his production, Bills could use that kind of production. Look at WR in FA, it's a bare cupboard! LeVeon Bell can get you 75+ receptions, most of them for 1st downs. Very little at WR in FA. Bell could easily give Allen 800-1,000 passing yards. Easily. Keep Murphy, draft one, everyone else needs to go.
  4. Wanted us to draft Allen, stand by that. Better than Sam Darnold and Lamar Jackson. Bills made the right pick. Barkley is the perfect mentor for Allen.
  5. I'd like to see the RBs used as receivers more, they aren't picking up yards on the ground but how about through the air? Make Allen's life easier, move the chains and pickup easy yards. Great way to boost his numbers.
  6. Between Allen and Bell, I think we'd have a top 5 run offense. And once again Bell would easily give Allen 1,000 more yards passing guaranteed. Bell's career average for receiving yards combined with Allen's average passing ypg this season would be about 200 yards a game or 3,267 yards per season. 100 easy completions, his accuracy % would up considerably. And lots of yards for 1 yard throws for easy first downs and easy yards. 3,200 yards would be Allen's bottom.
  7. No you can't. Occasionally a team will get lucky but you won't find a back that gets 1,000 yards on the ground and 1,000 yards in the air. You'll have a hard time finding anyone close. Bell still got lots of tread on them tires. Our offense would improve vastly, especially for Allen. Dump the ball off to Bell 100 times a year and that easily gives Allen 1,000 yards + passing.
  8. Shady is done, a move will be made there either way, regardless of a Bell signing or not.
  9. Bell is the best RB in the NFL and he had a year off. I'd take him over Kamara or Gurley. 4-year deal, ride him hard until he breaks down.
  10. Bell is a bit of an egotist, for sure. But that's a good thing! We need more of that. We got room for a player like that. Those kind of guys are good to have in moderation. Any person that is gifted the way Bell is will have a huge ego and rightfully so. Bring him in and give him 400 touches.
  11. We rode McCoy to the playoffs and LeVeon Bell is a better RB than Shady. Shady's career is winding down now, need to move on. Dump everyone but Marcus Murphy, sign Bell, draft another midround RB.
  12. Could be a part of it, but still. Bell is like having a 1,000 rusher and a 1,000 yard receiver in one player. That equates to Buffalo getting more yards, which we desperately need.
  13. Packers rarely ever go after free agents. Jets suck. Colts I don't know enough to comment on.
  14. Let's say we finish 8-8, Allen plays great to finish the season. Buffalo looks like a team that is going to compete for a long time. We would suddenly become an attractive destination for many FAs. We also have a ton of cap space to work with and our offense lacks a playmaker. Why not Bell? Give him what he wants, Buffalo now has the best RB in the NFL. Build that OL in the draft and free agency. Buffalo adds a guy that regularly puts up 2,000 all purpose yards a season. Hopefully Zay and Foster continue to develop alongside Allen and I could definitely see us making a playoff push. Bell gets a 4 year deal, his contract would be up around the same time Josh Allen's is, so no conflict there. Definitely think offense would not be a problem anymore.
  15. 90% of the time he won't even need all that juice, but in situations like that bomb to Foster yesterday where he was being brought down by 3 defenders and with just a flick of his wrist he connects on a 75 yard bomb, it certainly helps. He needs to work on touch and finesse more than anything though and his completion % will go up.
  16. It feels like Allen is a foot taller than everyone who tries to tackle him. Allen seems to be extremely durable.
  17. So long as Allen does not take big hits, run as much as you like. When he makes big runs the confidence carries over into the passing game. Allen seems to settle down after he takes a hit, he seems to embellish it and talk ***** to defenders after the fact. I say let him do it. I expect him to be more of a passer next year but as a rookie QB, I'm fine with it and feel it should be a big part of our game plan. If Allen repeats this production going forward we finish between 8-8 and 9-7. Possibly a wildcard birth.
  18. Edmunds was abused repeatedly until Fournette was benched. An otherwise good LB tho.
  19. I'd turn him loose until the game slows down some. Until then keep finding them running lanes. 2 TDS 0 INTS 259 yards offense. Against a top defense too. Had some success against a top 3 CB. If he repeats this performance 5 more times we'll be in the playoffs at 9-7.
  20. The Foster bomb. The 32 yard jump ball Benjamin got on Ramsey. Ramsey getting blocked out of a run TD.
  21. He is trending upward I'd say. Shows flashes of stardom. I'll stand by this thread. Allen will be a star.
