We we're #4 then #6 now we're #9. Something tells me we finish with 7 or 8 wins around #15-#18 overall. Most of the prospects we're talking about now will be long gone. I think Allen gets red hot to finish the season, easy schedule should win over half of the games left. Where do you guys think we end up at?

2019 Mock Drafts and top prospects
ghostwriter replied to thunderingsquid's topic in College Football
After doing multiple mocks on Fanspeak and after reading through multiple mocks on here, I think there are two names we're going to hear over and over again. If we go offense I think it'll be Jonah Williams. If we go defense I think it'll be Greedy Williams. I think I'd go for defense with that first pick and spend the rest of the draft on offense. Greedy Williams paired up with Tredavious White would give us two shutdown corners, I think our defense could go up another notch. -

Should we have traded Shady back to Philly?

I don't understand why Marcus Murphy isn't more involved he's averaging 5.5ypc. He needs more carries. -
LeVeon Bell: What better fit for him than Buffalo?
ghostwriter replied to ghostwriter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
3yrs 48 million fully guaranteed. That would be my offer to Bell. Dump Shady and Ivory, keep Marcus Murphy and draft another RB in the 3rd or 4th. Take that first pick and trade down, collect many picks and draft 4-5 linemen. I think you'd see our offense take a jump. Allen would easily put up 4,000 yds in an offense like that. -
LeVeon Bell: What better fit for him than Buffalo?

Correct. Hopefully we both agree that LeVeon is an elite talent. He could be our Todd Gurley. See what he is really worth in FA, may be less than he wants or he may get what he wants. He is the premier FA next year. -
Kyle Williams & Lorenzo Alexanders Future ?

It's up to the player I'm sure. Doubt they'd say no to Lorax or Meatball. Kyle can still play. Already has 5 sacks. Not bad. -
LeVeon Bell: What better fit for him than Buffalo?
ghostwriter replied to ghostwriter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's how much elite or potentially elite skill players go for. Bell will get less than Sammy even though Bell out produced him in every category. We got 91 million, we have the cap to play around with. LeVeon Bell would instantly upgrade our offense in a big way. Draft OL often and early. Look into WR/RB Tavon Austin and WR John Brown. -
Need to add a couple of skill guys. A pass catching RB could get him 200ypg, he's at about 160ypg now? He's hitting big throws, need to get in the habit of 1 yd passes to McCoy for 10yds. That'll also spike his completion % and move the chains. Our RBs need to be used as a receivers if they can't run behind this OL. Can Murphy catch?

Look how much Sammy Watkins got, you wouldn't pay LeVeon Bell that? I would. Bell would probably match Sammy's receiving yards while rushing for another 1,100. -
Knowing what we know now? Is Shady really part of our plans next year? 426 rushing 3.3ypc 25 rec 198yds 7.9avg How do you guys feel about it? Should we have taken the picks?
-
I think Allen can be a 4,000 yard passer. Think he can throw for 27-28 TDs IF we upgrade our skill positions and OL. He needs a pass catching RB and as good of a WR you can find in FA. Guys that can take 1yd throws and convert them into 1st downs, easy throws, easy completions and easy yards. Rack up stats.

Kyle William's...my gut tells me he comes back.

Bring him back if he wants to play, let Kyle make that decision. -

If he could earn 18 million if he triggered certain incentives I'm sure no one will offer more. Gives him time to cash in a second time. -

Dude.... We have 91 million. Look at what Sammy Watkins got! I'd rather have LeVeon Bell for that kind of money. A weapon is a weapon and Bell can hurt you on the ground or in the air. Give him a 3 year deal that is heavily incentive driven that we can get out of in 2. He's the biggest free agent on the market. -

Should be able to do everything you want even with Bell. Would also like John Brown and I think it'd be wise to overpay for him too. This is a good draft to need OL, we could add 3-4 starters if we want. Not impressed with the FA OL crop. I think we'd have multiple draft picks for defense too. -

Those are his career averages, you could argue that Antonio Brown may take some production away from LeVeon Bell too. Here he gets all the focus. Obviously we have to fix the OL but we have a bazillion draft picks in a deep draft. Elgton Jenkins is a better prospect than Eric Wood was coming out. Trade down and grab him. Take a couple OL in the second round too.
