  1. Bittersweet. On one hand I'm happy for him, otoh it's sad to see him go. I hope he has a fantastic life outside of football and I hope he stays involved with the Bills in some way or form. He's one of the greatest to ever wear red, white and blue. Absolute legend.
  2. Thank you my friend. I think of repeat offenders with millions of dollars to lose and they smoke anyways. I don't think it's because they're stupid and reckless. When you are sick, you will do ANYTHING to feel better, anything to alleviate the pain. I'm bipolar and many of the symptoms I experience are very similar to what NFL players go through: irritability, depression, anxiety, mood swings etc. CBD and maybe a little bit of smoke takes all those things away. I do the CBD when I have to go to work or drive and I smoke when I'm home and in for the night. Works for me. I'd like to see the NFL do some research on this topic.
  3. I take capsules. There's oil you can put under your tongue. Edibles. Vape. I take it for anxiety, depression and irritability. Great if you want to stay stone cold sober.
  4. CBD will not get you high whereas weed will get you high. Weed is a more potent mood enhancer though in my opinion, makes boring and mundane things fun and interesting.
  5. He's never been given much. Like the fact he coached under Saban and Belichick. Like the fact he coached at Alabama and New England. Overqualified to be an OC and if he does a good job with Allen he'll be a HC eventually.
  6. Actually I got my doctor onto CBD oil, he takes it because of me. He hands out CBD pamphlets to all his patients now. Weed I rarely smoke, CBD is an every day thing.
  7. I take CBD oil and it has worked wonders for me. I also smoke weed occasionally and it helps me with anxiety and depression.
  8. Just a random thought, hope I am not violating the tos and I am sorry if I am but I am awfully curious about this topic. Obviously marijuana is banned by the NFL, but I've wondered for quite some time if football players smoke because it relieves symptoms of CTE. Do any of you think this is possible? It would be pretty tragic if the NFL banned a substance that could benefit their players mental health, especially with something as serious as CTE. I know weed helps treat a myriad of illnesses from bipolar disorder all the way down to arthritis and inflammation. Could marijuana benefit players and should the NFL take it off its banned substances list? It would be a shame if the NFL was taking away something that could be beneficial to its players. Do you guys think weed could actually help the NFL? Thoughts?
  9. Cole Beasley would be a nice pickup. Nothing flashy, nothing spectacular, not a game breaker but a solid veteran receiver and a fantastic fit for our offense.
  10. He's shown flashes of being capable. Croom is the only TE on the roster I want back. He offers something as a receiver. I think he can be good. I'd like to see us develop him more, I think there is something there.
  11. He looks bad at times, but you have to wonder how much of this is planned. Brady threw for 500yds in the Super Bowl and they still lost. Is there really that much of a decline or is this simply Belichick's way of forcing the team around him to step up? I don't know. Their running game is dangerous and I think Brady can squeeze one more out similarly to the way Manning and the Broncos did. That seems to be their strategy IMO.
  12. I hope the title is descriptive enough. First off, I'm not a moron when it comes to football but there is a lot about the game that I do not understand. Are there any websites I can go to that break down the game a little bit more for amateurs such as myself? Different coverages, schemes and assignments. I crave a deeper understanding of the game. Please help.
  13. Cann and Paradis on OL followed by Coleman and Yeldon. Wouldn't mind a few more CBs and LBs as well, nothing too crazy.
  14. This could work if we go CB and OL in FA. 7: R1P7 DL QUINNEN WILLIAMS ALABAMA 39: R2P7 WR D.K. METCALF MISSISSIPPI 70: R3P6 G BEAU BENZSCHAWEL WISCONSIN 109: R4P7 WR PARRIS CAMPBELL OHIO ST. 133: R4P31 LB TJ EDWARDS WISCONSIN 146: R5P7 LB KHALIL HODGE BUFFALO 158: R5P19 TE CALEB WILSON UCLA 182: R6P7 C JESSE BURKETT STANFORD 223: R7P7 OT BOBBY EVANS OKLAHOMA 226: R7P10 RB TRAYVEON WILLIAMS TEXAS A&M
  15. Even if he doesn't get drafted as high next year I still think it's a good move for him long term. I'm pretty big on QBs staying through their senior year. Junior QBs seem to struggle in the NFL.
  16. 7: R1P7 DL QUINNEN WILLIAMS ALABAMA 39: R2P7 WR MARQUISE BROWN OKLAHOMA 70: R3P6 C DALTON KISNER KANSAS ST. 109: R4P7 OT DAVID EDWARDS WISCONSIN 133: R4P31 G DARRYL WILLIAMS MISSISSIPPI ST. 146: R5P7 TE CALEB WILSON UCLA 158: R5P19 CB TREVON DIGGS ALABAMA 182: R6P7 LB TROY DYE OREGON 223: R7P7 WR EMMANUEL HALL MISSOURI 226: R7P10 QB BRIAN LEWERKE MICHIGAN ST.
  17. We could use a veteran there for sure, but I'm not sure if he is a process guy...
  18. I actually liked the idea of Bell initially until I realized that there's some really decent options in FA for much cheaper. Why put ourselves in that position again? Bell would be Shady all over again. Pay him 15m aav just to hit a wall in 3 years when he's 30 and we're on the hook for it with no way out. With a 2 back system you can swap players out, if someone gets injured you plug in the next guy with no drop off. Yes, I'm a moron for wanting Bell. Definitely not one of my better takes. Spend that money on a G or C.
  19. I'm talking about Jonah Williams, not Metcalf. I agree that Metcalf is a legit 1st RD prospect.
  20. Don't listen to him. Good thread, thank you for posting. Do you know what's the earliest we may potentially pick at with a loss to Miami?
  21. It's really not. Brett Favre was on TMZ pushing for Green Bay to hire him. Daboll is going to increasingly become a hot name going forward, things are just starting to heat up. If McD falls on his face, our defense sucks and we miss the playoffs in 2019 despite continuous growth from Allen, would it be so crazy then? Would it be crazy to keep Allen in the same system? Or is it crazy to hire a Buffalo native to coach the Bills? Guess I'm crazy then. Daboll will not get a HC job in 2019, but if Allen has a big year he is going to be a red hot candidate.
  22. Metcalf I could live with under the right scenario. Would prefer a trade down and then take Metcalf ideally. I'm hoping we lose against Miami and Allen has a huge game in the process. If we pick #4 maybe some team will come up for Herbert.
  23. I've always gotten mighty fine vibes from you AFLguy. Sorry for your losses, you got family here at TBD. I've been through a lot too and thank God I have this place to talk about Bills football. Love this place. Ever need to talk just PM me.
  24. It's the Erhardt Perkins offense developed in 1972 by two NE assistants.
