  1. Not positive about Moon. Either way, if the Bills drafted the next Matt Cassel or Ryan Fitzpatrick in the 6th round that's fantastic. Anything more than that and you are going to really set your team up in a big big way. Bills should draft one every year until we strike gold.
  2. My point is they knew he could be good and they drafted him. Is that really luck? Pretty sure there are several UDFA QBs that were HOF QBs, obviously it's not common but there are droves of good QBs and serviceable ones underneath that upper echelon and the success rate is higher than .10%.
  3. It's not impossible though, it happens occasionally and if you draft them enough you will eventually find a Brady or a Cassel or a Warner. Will you find another Brady? Maybe not, but could we find a Cassel/Fitzpatrick type of QB in the 7th? Absolutely.
  4. It's not luck that they ended up with Brady, they had Bledsoe at the time and even though they had an excellent QB they continued to draft guys deep in the draft. They did it again with Cassel. That's not luck, there's a pattern. Buffalo should draft a guy in the 6th or 7th if they're smart. Sit him on the bench and keep the pipeline loaded.
  5. He goes up against 1s and 2s, but should be going up against 2s and 3s. Zay lined up on both sides IIRC. I did see him line up on the left and right, either way his production is not terrible. Foster will probably blow away Zay but I like both of them a lot. If we can draft a top WR I think we are in damn good shape. Zay, Foster and McKenzie all need to get bumped down on the depth chart one spot and we are in fantastic shape at WR. It's really not as bad as ppl think.
  6. He is out of position, that's all. We expect him to be something he's not. I'm guilty of it too. He'll probably finish with 50 catches and that's against opposing teams #1 CB. What can he do against the Levi Wallace's of the world? I wonder.
  7. Well I think back to his 2 TD game, which in all actuality should have been 3 TDs and then I see him get wide open again for another TD today and I think he has shown flashes of great ability and I think he can absolutely be a big redzone threat to. He has nice feet and body control, it all just needs to come together for him and I think much of his productivity or lack thereof is because of instability at QB. Allen will be good but he's a rookie and before that he had Tyrod. To me, I just need to see more. I'm not ready to give up on Zay yet, I think the juice is worth the squeeze.
  8. Milano is out and I think Edmunds is playing out of position. That right there makes Star look bad. If anybody needs to go it's Trent Murphy, he is making just as much as Star. Also, Meatball is getting old and Harry is nothing more than a rotational player at this point. This DL needs Jadeveon Clowney and Ed Oliver, leave Star alone and bring Jerry Hughes back. Replace the weakest links first.
  9. He can be a good player. I'm obviously a fan of Zay Jones. He'll be alright. He's a good guy to have around. Can he be a #1? Probably not. I was wrong to think so in the past, but he could probably do good as a #2. We just need an elite WR, that of which we have zero of right now.
  10. Well, he is not the weakest link. Any player that comes here will expect more money, virtually every FA we sign will be overpaid until Allen arrives. Same thing will happen this offseason too.
  11. I watch every single Bills just about, I missed a few when Allen went down because I'm not watching Derek Anderson sorry. But every game I've watched Star has been good. It's that other spot next to him that needs an upgrade. Ed Oliver anyone? Or how about Quinnen Williams? How about a MLB? Edmunds should be an OLB, he doesn't have the instincts to play inside. I think what happened today is a combination of Edmunds and Milano being injured rather than Star being bad.
  12. This should be his last year, but they should make a run. Their run game is phenomenal, their defense is very good. They got a shot but dear God I hope Brady comes back another year, it would be great to watch him deteriorating.
  13. Star looked bad today, as did our entire front 7 minus Lorax. Doesn't make him a bad player though. Just another hot take from a hothead. Belichick would probably love to have Star on his team.
  14. I know in 2-3 days logic will prevail and folks will eventually see the bigger picture, but can we stop this salty cry baby talk after a loss? The Patriots have been to 8 Super Bowls in 16 years, we have a rookie QB going up against one of the greatest coaches in the history of all organized sports and he eats rookie QBs for lunch. No rookie QB on the planet will beat a Bill Belichick coached team and if they do they should buy a powerball ticket. Good news is we have a promising QB, a potential franchise guy. We got a good young nuclei to build around, 10 draft picks and 90 million. Look deeper than stats, there's more to it than that. Once we build an actual team around Allen you all will get the 4,000yds and 28 TDS you desire but for now it's about growth. This entire season was about Josh Allen, developing our young guys and pretty much getting a feel for our personnel. This entire season was nothing more than an audition. Playoffs in 2019. Sky is absolutely not falling.
  15. Even with Allen and Barkley we still need another arm for TC. Even if Allen becomes a HOF you still draft QB often. Maybe not with your money picks but you would hope eventually you land a nice QB later in the draft. I'd have no issues at all with spending a 7th on QB every year. Maybe we find a Cassel or a Brady. Either way you still need someone to run with the 3s.
  16. I would love it if Brian Daboll snagged some coaches and assistants from New England especially on offense. He worked with these guys for years, let's rob them blind. ***** New England!
  17. I'd rather have McD. Let's see what Lynn does when Rivers is gone. McD has already found us two QBs that are very decent and that's a hard thing to do.
  18. I would not mind a guy like like Brian Lewerke in the 7th round. We don't have to, but in the event we do add another QB I'd love to go there with our very last pick. Obviously we are in very good hands, once again, we don't have to but I would not mind an UDFA/6th/7th on a developmental prospect just to add to the mix.
  19. I can get down with that. He has some juice left I think. I'd prefer a 2 year extension, anything beyond that is uncertain. Give him a slightly bigger salary in return for a shorter deal.
  20. I'd rather go after TJ Yeldon and Tevin Coleman. Both can get you 1,000 yards on the ground and in the air. I'm a RB by committee kind of guy and I think you can find tons of productive backs in FA for cheap. There are exceptions to that rule of course. If a Saquan Barkley or AP type of prospect is there I'd burn our 1st on them without hesitation. Right now Shady has a 9m cap hit, all that money tied up into a RB that has fallen off a cliff. Let's not do that again. I'm an idiot for saying we should sign LeVeon Bell, I don't think we should draft RBs high at all, let someone else do that and we'll sign them for pennies in FA. Give me two #2s and let's pound the ball.
  21. We'll probably be mighty fine with just Allen and Barkley but I would not be upset at all if Anderson stayed on another year. Allen and Barkley are both relatively young and are within that fighting age for men. Could probably just carry 2 QBs.
  22. This guy is the quintessential backup QB to Josh Allen. Barkley is such a good guy too, great attitude and he can play great football. I'm very confident in Terry Pegula and McBeane. Very much trusting the process. GO BILLS!
