  1. Many fans are disenfranchised that Shaq hasn't turned into a 12 sack per year player and I understand that, but still, if he even develops into a good decent player, why create turnover? I understand why we didn't pickup the option though, but I'm optimistic that a deal can be reached if Shaq puts up 6-8 sacks, he's still a decent player and I feel the same about Murph. LDE solved. Now draft a protege for Jerry Hughes to mentor and we are in some tall cotton indeed, my friend.
  2. I think Shaq Lawson will get 6+ sacks as well, could see him notch as many as 8 if everything goes his way. Many folks say he is leaving town, but I'm not so sure. Would like to see him stay on a team friendly deal.
  3. I hope we don't cut Yeldon or McKenzie.
  4. I don't think there is room for both Gore and Shady. I give the edge to Gore because: 1.) He is locked in at a team friendly price. 2.) He is a freak. Shady is making 6.5 million IIRC. Sure we can hold him until the last minute and see if he returns to form, but once again he has to dominate camp I believe. Singletary is a lock and Yeldon is a great 3rd RB whom is locked in on a 2 year deal for basically nothing, which is appealing because I think we're really driving down the cost of our backfield and taking a RB by committee approach but once again if McCoy has a great camp my whole theory is turned upside down.
  5. To the point where every other play is a damn commercial break or a penalty? I'm sorry but that kills the momentum and energy of a game and in the end will kill your ratings. Game needs to be sped up.
  6. The NFL has become a prostitute for money. Take the NFL draft for example, they milk every pick for 15 minutes, when I watched the NHL draft the other day it was fun, 1 minute per pick, it was smooth. Look at the commercials too, how long can they possibly spread out each game? Pure greed and filth. Hockey is quickly becoming my favorite sport, non stop action, very few interruptions and penalties. The NFL is dying I'm afraid. The game needs to get cleaned up. The tempo and intensity needs to be increased. Too slow.
  7. Everyone is picking Tre White, which would also be my first pick but if I had to pick another it would be Tremaine Edmunds. 2nd year player now, game has slowed down for him. 150 tackles 5 sacks and 4 INTs. Brady better sleep with his lights on.
  8. Well, I'm glad we drafted one and I'm glad it was Allen and if he sucks I hope we draft another one until we get a franchise guy.
  9. I think we haven't seen his best yet. He's good at setting the edge and I do think he could have a couple 8 sack years on top of that.
  10. I think 3 years 18 million. I'd gladly have him back on a deal like that. He's not what we expected but he's a good player.
  11. He turned down 10 head coaching jobs to be the linebacking coach in Washington.
  12. Right, right, right. Good points. Just saying though, Ford looks more like a guard but I'm sure there's guys like Wynn out there. Either way, if we get a few Pro Bowls out of Ford at guard I won't complain.
  13. Well, how many 6'3 RTs are there in the NFL? May not be a flatfooted issue, may be because of length. Nsekhe signed a decent contract on top of that and Dawkins looks locked in, I think Ford projects as a RG.
  14. LT - Dawkins LG - Long C - Morse RG - Ford RT - Nsekhe Could see this.
  15. Under, although I'll admit there is a decent chance he goes over.
  16. Maybe some of us have been too hard on him?
  17. Just seems like a lot of money for a guy that went down like a sack of potatoes every time he was hit. Yeldon will cost 5x less and could offer similar production and depth for the next 2 years. Oh and he's 5 years younger. Maybe my heart is cold because I see no rational nor logical reason to keep McCoy. Sorry but the NFL is a business, sometimes doing business sucks.
  18. Interesting. Didn't mean it sarcastically, I just see a guy drafted in the 3rd round and people proclaiming that the guy will catch 85 passes and 1100 yards. He didn't perform at Ole Miss so forgive me for not knowing everything about him, I'm not a mega know it all fan. Just curious.
  19. That's fantastic. I have faith in him that he can be a good LT. Good news.
  20. Ok. That's fine you feel that way but I disagree. I won't question your loyalty but it's a business. Training camp will tell.
  21. They're not cutting him for Yeldon, they're cutting him for Singletary, Gore and Yeldon but mainly Singletary, they're the same back except Singletary is 10 years younger.
  22. Shady is gone I feel. Singletary has an identical running style and is younger. Gore will be the banger and Yeldon will be a nice rotational guy behind them. Bills go running back by committee.
  23. Yesteryear could have been his last one.
