  1. They just made the playoffs so I don’t think blowing it up is the answer. I’d sit all of them down and ask them how to make it work. If I absolutely had to send some of these guys packing it’d go like this. 1. Zeke has been suspended before so he would be the first to go. Good RBs are plentiful and Dallas has a good line. Trade for two 2nds. 2. Cooper is the guy I would extend first. Pay him top 12-15 money, lock him down long term. 3. After #1 and #2, I go to Dak and tell him, we got the best line in the NFL, we locked down your #1 receiver and we are loaded with high draft picks and we want to build around you. How bad do you want to win? If he still asks for $40m I’d tag him and trade him for even more picks. 4. If Dak proves to have no heart, you deal him for two 1st round picks. Trade for a decent veteran like Matt Barkley and mortgage the draft to take one of these promising young guns in 2020. Sign the best FA RB money can buy, draft one, ground and pound. (Doubt Dak says no to $30m, I bet money he re-signs)
  2. You’re forgetting Ed Oliver, he could very well get you 10 sacks if he catches on quickly. Guy could be a nightmare.
  3. Perhaps so. Or perhaps we’re just taking it slow, precautionary measures if you will. Doubt Morse hangs em up. Too much money on the line.
  4. Knox actually had a fairly underwhelming college career, but has all the measurable of a 1st round pick. Sweeney actually produced more in college.
  5. Thank you. Whoops daisy. My heart still believes that Allen and Darnold will be a Kelly/Marino situation. I believe both QBs will be fantastic..... but thank you to both you gentlemen for the correction....,
  6. Unexpected loss: Bills lose at home week 1 to the Jets. Bills start out slow but gain momentum as the season goes on. Unexpected win: Bills beat the Jets in their house with playoff implications on the line. Bills move onto the playoffs, Jets get sent home to their couch. 2019 sparks a rekindled rivalry between the Bills and the Jets, the Patriots begin their descent. Bills are the big hoss and the team to beat in the AFC East in 2020. By 2020 the Patriots are just another team in the AFC East. Darnold vs Allen turns into a Marino vs Kelly rivalry, however the Bills continuously pump out the better teams due to a top notch FO and coaching staff.
  7. I would say so. We got Barkley until 2021 and at that point, with the way he’s playing, some team is going to pick him up. Love me some Barkley, but he’ll get a chance to compete somewhere and will move onto greener pastures. Our cup is overflowing at the QB position but it won’t last forever.
  8. I find it strange when a fan willfully exalts another team above his own.
  9. Neither of them strike me as head coach material. Daboll hasn’t put together one good offense in his career. Maybe if the Bills put together two back to back seasons with top 10 finishes he’d get some looks but I think we are pretty far off from that. Frazier is a good DC, his defenses aren’t legendary and in a offensive driven league that’ll hurt him. Not too many DCs are getting HC jobs these days.
  10. I’m more worried about Darnold than I am Bell. Sam will be a top 10 QB, but Bell could be very dangerous as a receiver with Darnold at QB.
  11. He’s only a 2nd year player, if he wants to run, yes, let him run. He could possibly get hurt, but that’s when your coach steps in and teaches him to slide, run out of bounds and not take the big hit. Nobody told Michael Vick not to run, they’re similar players in many respects. Think Lamar Jackson won’t run this year? Of course he will. We could be looking at the #1 rushing offense when you factor in Allen, our line and our hefty backfield. That’s a pretty attractive reality and Allen is a big part in that. If Allen puts up 600yds rushing again, I think the Bills will lead the league in overall rushing yards.
  12. I like Sweeney. I think he is more than a blocking TE. Not saying he’ll be an All Pro but I think he is better than where he was drafted.
  13. He strikes me as a developmental player that should see time only when our starters need oxygen.
  14. Oliver looked good against a great line. Should of had a TFL on the one play and batted down a pass on the other. Colts line is very good.
  15. Sometimes you need to know when to walk away from a deal. I get $30m, every good QB gets overpaid, but $40m? I’d simply move onto Zeke and Coop at this point. Although leaking these numbers was a tactful move by Jerry to ween down Dak and co.
  16. For a 3rd or less, why not? Anything more, no thanks for the reasons mentioned by the posters above me. Could always tag him and work something out, but then again he is merely a good, not great player but will be paid as one.
  17. Well, I think our run game is going to be very important going forward. Singletary is a huge piece to this offense, we didn’t bring in a bunch of road graders for nothing. I think Allen will not be able to carry our offense on his arm alone, so I think we are going to be a run first team until Allen comes into his own and simmers down a little bit. Maybe towards the end of the year we evolve more into a pass happy offense as Allen matures, but for now I think a strong running game will be Allen’s best friend. Pound the ball, play good defense and bring Allen along nice and slow.
  18. Russell Bodine. He's a guy that I'd like to see play well. We could really use a solid option behind Morse. I think the reality behind the Morse signing is we'll have a top 5 center for 75% of the year, but for 4-5 games every year we're going to need a competent backup. Can Bodine be that guy? Very important position for that OL.
  19. Zeke should be the highest paid RB, some may laugh at me for this but I think the case could easily be made. Dak should get top 10 money. One would argue that Garoppolo got 100m and Dak is far far superior to Jimmy. QBs always get overpaid and to be honest, I take care of Dak before anyone else if I'm Jerry Jones. Cooper is a guy I'd let play out his deal, he is a streaky player, if he has another solid year, franchise him and extend him at that point. 1. Dak 2. Zeke 3. Cooper In that order.
