2020 mock drafts/ fanspeak/ draft network
ghostwriter replied to ScorpionZero's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I love Mekhi Becton, he’s an absurd talent. People gave me trouble a few months ago when I projected him as our first pick but now fans are coming along after seeing him shoot up the draft board. He should go top 5. He has Orlando Pace/Walter Jones ability. -

I can’t stomach passing on Yetur Gross-Matos or AJ Epenesa. It’s BPA at a huge need.
-
I think this is a rough sketch as to what our offseason could look like. Beane typically signs free agents that fills a need area and goes BPA in the draft. I could see us going DE, WR, T, CB and G in free agency so we’re not so vulnerable and desperate going into the draft. With free agency right around the corner and the draft nearly a month away, here’s an idea as to what our offseason may look like. Free Agency Trae Waynes, CB, Minnesota Vikings Robert Quinn, DE, Miami Dolphins Graham Glasgow, G, Detroit Lions Nelson Agholor, WR, Philadelphia Eagles Darryl Williams, RT, Carolina Panthers Draft 22: R1P22 EDGE YETUR GROSS-MATOS PENN STATE 54: R2P22 WR DENZEL MIMS BAYLOR 86: R3P22 TE ALBERT OKWUEGBUNAM MISSOURI 125: R4P22 OT CALVIN THROCKMORTON OREGON 155: R5P9 WR ANTONIO GANDY-GOLDEN LIBERTY 167: R5P21 RB ZACK MOSS UTAH 188: R6P9 OT YASIR DURANT MISSOURI 201: R6P22 LB WILLIE GAY JR. Well, I think Buffalo is in a great position to tak AJ Epenesa or Yetur Gross-Matos. I think we go EDGE in RD1. Ruggs, Lamb and Jeudy will be long gone. Probably looking at Mims, Claypool or Jefferson RD2. That’s how I see the board playing out. I think Beane will fill our needs in FA and let the board come to us. Could be WR, could be OT but I believe it’ll be Epenesa or Gross-Matos at #22. Could see us adding Kenny Willekes or Alton Robinson RD3 and perhaps another WR in RD4.

Can the Bills land a good Edge in FA?
ghostwriter replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I absolutely think we get a serviceable EDGE in FA. Beane will likely add a DE, LB, CB, RT, WR in free agency so come the draft we can go BPA. In his short time here I feel he’s always done just that. If we go into the draft with little to no needs that opens you up to BPA which turns into star power. All our need areas will be systematically filled and the best player will be taken. Beane’s strategy since he got here. -
Chase Claypool- I know you want to talk about him
ghostwriter replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think three QBs go before us, maybe four. It’s not far fetched to think a tackle can fall to us with these guys ahead of us. Regardless we walk away with a good player in a need area. What position? I do not know. Let the board come to us. Maybe a WR, maybe a T, maybe a DE but I think between Lamb, Jeudy, Ruggs, Wirfs, Becton, Thomas, Matos and Epenesa there’s a reasonable chance we may score one of these players and if they covet someone they can give up a 3rd and go up and get one if they slide to 15-16. 1. Chase Young, DE, OSU 2. CeeDee Lamb, WR, LSU 3. Jerry Jeudy WR, Alabama 4. Henry Ruggs, WR, Alabama 5. Jeffery Okudah, CB, OSU 6. Isaiah Simmons, LB, Clemson 7. Mekhi Becton, OT, Louisville 8. Tristan Wirfs, OT, Iowa 8. Derrick Brown, DT, Auburn 9. Yetur Gross-Matos, DE, PSU 10. AJ Epenesa, DE, Iowa 11. Andrew Thomas, OT, Georgia 12. Jonathan Taylor, RB, Wisconsin 13. Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama 14. Tyler Biadasz, OL, Wisconsin 15. Kristian Fulton, CB, LSU 16. Laviska Shenault, WR, Colorado 17. Curtis Weaver, DE, BSU 18. Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU 19. Or OT. Wirfs, Wills or Becton would massively upgrade our OL. That is if Lamb, Ruggs and Jeudy are gone. -

Cover 1 Ruggs is more than just speed
ghostwriter replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ruggs won’t be there at 22. Not after the combine. Nor will Lamb or Jeudy. It comes down to Epenesa or Yetur Gross-Matos in RD1. Should be some damn good WRs left in RD2. -
Possibility of trading up to #16 (Atlanta)
ghostwriter replied to Dkollidas's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Yetur Gross-Matos is the guy at 22. If it weren’t for the hazing incident he’d be a top 15 lock. I think YGM is a 10 sack per year guy and would give us an elite edge rusher. I think the only way we don’t take him is if Lamb, Jeudy or Ruggs is there when we pick. Guys like Jefferson, Reagor and Aiyuk will be available for us RD2. You go EDGE RD1, WR RD2 and look for a guy like Gandy Golden, Juwan Johnson or KJ Hill RDS 3-5. -

Who are your top two free agents?
ghostwriter replied to Buffalo03's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bud Dupree and Matt Judon. Go EDGE in free agency. Load up on WR, OL and CB in the draft. -
I think we need to go WR at 22 and then trade down with our 2nd. So much depth in need areas for us, would make sense to load up the cupboards. Could see Ruggs RD1/ KJ Hill RD4. Kenny Willekes RD2/Alton Robinson RD3. Both WR and EDGE is set for the next decade.

How do Bills' past moves foretell the WR pick?
ghostwriter replied to GG's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Juwan Johnson is a huge WR that graded well at the combine. Most sites had him as a Day 3 pick but who knows where he goes now. Could be that red zone threat that we direly need, maybe he’s there’s RDS 4-5. I think our first pick ultimately goes towards WR but I think we add more than one in the draft. I also like KJ Hill, he’s projected to go RDS 2-4. -
I knew about him for months now. He is a Derrick Henry style of RB making his 40 even that more impressive. I wanted him RD2, but now I think he goes RD1. I think Buffalo goes WR RD1. I’d look to Zack Moss in RD3 if we go RB. RD2 will likely be EDGE. The rest of our picks will go towards OL, LB and CB. It will be interesting to see how Beane views Cody Ford, he was playing with a torn rotator cuff which is a debilitating injury for a tackle. Calvin Throckmorton is a guy we can maybe snag in RD4.

Predict Shaq Lawson's contract
ghostwriter replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think you let Shaw test the market and see what he gets. He’s not somebody you overpay for but if you get him for $7M-$8M he’s somebody worth bringing back. -
Vosean Joseph, how to use him?
ghostwriter replied to Don Otreply's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Potential to be a starter. Great burst, hits hard, instinctive. Could benefit from bulking up a little.
