  1. I knew about him for months now. He is a Derrick Henry style of RB making his 40 even that more impressive. I wanted him RD2, but now I think he goes RD1. I think Buffalo goes WR RD1. I’d look to Zack Moss in RD3 if we go RB. RD2 will likely be EDGE. The rest of our picks will go towards OL, LB and CB. It will be interesting to see how Beane views Cody Ford, he was playing with a torn rotator cuff which is a debilitating injury for a tackle. Calvin Throckmorton is a guy we can maybe snag in RD4.
  2. I can think of maybe Polian and Ozzie Newesome being up there. Who are some other potential candidates and is there a statistical list that lists them all off.

  4. I think you let Shaw test the market and see what he gets. He’s not somebody you overpay for but if you get him for $7M-$8M he’s somebody worth bringing back.
  5. Yes. He’s an ascending player. Last year was his best season and I think he’ll only get better.
  6. Potential to be a starter. Great burst, hits hard, instinctive. Could benefit from bulking up a little.
  7. I want Justin Jefferson or AJ Epenesa at 22. I think Ruggs, Lamb and Jeudy will be long gone. I was a big fan of Becton but he has shot up draft boards. My sleeper pick would be Curtis Weaver out of BSU. Jedrick Wills, Tristan Wirfs and Shenault would be intriguing options as well.

  9. I can’t count how many times I’ve seen Singletary drag 4-5 defenders on his back for an extra 4 or 5 yards. I think Singletary is a tougher runner than we think. I have no reservations whatsoever about plugging him in on the goal line. I’m not against drafting a power back but I don’t view Singletary as strictly a scat back or finesse back, he’s pretty strong. I think Singletary can get you the tough yards.
  10. Lee Evans would have been a borderline HOFer with Josh Allen and this coaching staff.
  11. Kenny Willekes and Alton Robinson are my favorite prospects this year. Willekes is projected in RDs 2-3 and Robinson in RDs 3-5.
  12. I traded down because what was available at 22 was underwhelming. I had a lot of B grades on the prospects there so I moved #22 for #28 and #60. I also want to note that I believe Claypool is a better prospect than Aiyuk but First-Pick had a lower grade on him so I played the board. Round 1 Pick 28 (BALT): Curtis Weaver, OLB/DE, Boise State Round 2 Pick 22: Willie Gay, OLB, Mississippi State Round 2 Pick 28 (BALT): Brandon Aiyuk, WR, Arizona State Round 3 Pick 22: Chase Claypool, WR, Notre Dame Round 4 Pick 22: Yasir Durant, OT, Missouri Round 5 Pick 9: Alton Robinson, DE/OLB, Syracuse Round 5 Pick 21: Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, LSU Round 6 Pick 9: Darnay Holmes, CB, UCLA Round 6 Pick 22: Corey Bethley, DT, TCU Round 6 Pick 23: Stephen Guidry, WR, Mississippi State
  13. Sign Shaq Lawson Cut Trent Murphy Trade for Odell Beckham Jr. Draft Justin Jefferson
  14. It’s a draft simulator. If not Kansas City, someone else. Point is to load up on picks and load the roster.
  15. I’m a big fan of trading down. We have holes all over the place. People say that we lack A+ players but I disagree. I could see Josh Allen, Tremaine Edmunds and Devin Singletary being elite players and then we have TreDavious White who has been elite. We need to move down and accumulate picks. RB2, WR1, WR4, OG, RT, DT, DE, OLB, backup MLB, CB2 are all need areas. I did a trade down on first pick and this was my haul, I think most of the players would stick. Round 1 Pick 32 (K.C.): Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU (A-) Round 2 Pick 22: Jonathan Taylor, RB, Wisconsin (A) Round 2 Pick 31 (K.C.): Darryl Williams, C/OG, Mississippi State (A-) Round 3 Pick 22: Kenny Willekes, DE, Michigan State (A) Round 3 Pick 32 (K.C.): Damon Arnette, CB, Ohio State (A+) Round 4 Pick 22: Alton Robinson, DE, Syracuse (A+) Round 5 Pick 9: Raequan Williams, DT, Michigan State (A+) Round 5 Pick 21: Scott Lashley, OT, Alabama (A+) Round 6 Pick 9: Anthony McFarland, RB, Maryland (A+) Round 6 Pick 22: Antonio Gandy-Golden, WR, Liberty (A+) Round 6 Pick 23: Stephen Guidry, WR, Mississippi State (A+)
  16. Straight line speed matters little for a RB. Often times it comes down to agility and being able to move well laterally.
  17. I predict we go defense in free agency. It wouldn’t shock me to see us sign a top CB and LB. I think Shaq gets re-signed and Murphy gets released. Round 1: Mekhi Becton, OT, Louisville Buffalo adds the best tackle prospect in the draft. Many project him as a Pro Bowl LT, but Buffalo simply re-signs Dion Dawkins and Ford goes into guard. Buffalo would now boast a top 5 unit. Round 2: KJ Hill, WR, Ohio State KJ Hill is impressive to me because of his strong hands, he does not catch with his body. He is 6’0 over 200lbs and would be that physical WR we all hoped Zay Jones could be. Round 3: JK Dobbins, RB Ohio State Buffalo adds a violent runner in JK Dobbins. Very physical back, compares to Nick Chubb. He would pair up nicely with Motor. He can get the tough yards and punch the ball in on the goal line. Round 4: Alton Robinson, DE/OLB, Syracuse Physical specimen, raw talent. Has everything you need to be a superstar, just needs some polish and coaching. Between Hughes, Lawson and Robinson our rotation would be looking pretty good. Chance to be a high end starter. Round 5: Antonio Gandy-Golden, WR, Liberty Buffalo drafts yet another big physical WR for Josh Allen to play with. Golden can win the jump balls and contested catches. Solid addition to KJ Hill. Round 5 Pick: Jeffrey McCulloch, OLB, Texas Competition for Vosean Joseph. I predict we go LB in Free Agency but here’s a guy who can battle for a spot and provide depth. Round 6: Brandon Pili, DT, USC Bills add depth to their front seven. At 6’4 325, Buffalo adds a run stuffer. We got gashed way too many times last year. Pili comes in and provides depth in that IDL. Round 6: Stephen Guidry, WR, Mississippi State My draft sleeper! He’s 6’4 with 4.44 speed. Guidry is a guy we can bring along slowly and develop. He adds depth and rounds out that WR corps with another big bodied receiver. Catches with body too much, needs some coaching but nonetheless is immensely talented. Round 6: Drew Richmond, OT, USC Drew Richmond comes in and gives us a camp body and depth behind Dawkins and Becton.
  18. No. I want Justin Jefferson at 22. I also like KJ Hill like a lot a lot. He is projected as a second round pick. Aiyuk looks like could be good too. Way too many solid wide receivers to be going up for one.
  19. Barkley and Allen is fine. Case closed.
  20. I think Allen, Brown and Singletary are great sleeper picks. Guys that can be had later on but may outperform their draft statuses.
  21. $6M AAV for Star is not bad. He certainly is worth a spot on the roster at that salary. I don’t think we’ve seen his ceiling yet. It’s all about his motivation to be great and whether or not McDermott can light a fire underneath him. All the Star haters should have nothing to complain about, his contract is feasible.
