He has an unreal skill set. One of the better LT prospects I’ve seen in quite some time, he has everything he needs to be an elite tackle but failing a drug test takes him down a few notches in my book. It shows that he has a lazy and undisciplined mind on some level. He’s looking at the biggest payday of his life and he’s more concerned with getting high. Just a really lazy effort on his part. Who knows? Maybe he wants to drop down to a better team? Still a red flag nonetheless.

Music to my ears. Dawkins is a guy who I like a lot, it’s fantastic news that we’re looking to bring him back and the same goes for Milano to a lesser degree. The bottom line is the bottom line though. If they’re willing to sign reasonable deals is the question. Wouldn’t break the bank for Milano but for Dawkins I think it’s pretty important we get him signed long term. It’ll be interesting to see the numbers.

It’ll be really interesting to say the least. It’s an angle that’s not talked about much but one I could see possibly happening. I like Tua, injuries are a concern but I think if he can stay healthy, he’ll be a good one. -

Dwayne Haskins is in my mind not a good NFL QB and if he is he can be traded for multiple picks. Tua in crimson and yellow makes a lot of sense. Arizona dumped Rosen for Murray and it worked out great for them. Tua was in the conversation to go #1 overall before he got hurt. Tua > Haskins and it’s not even close. There’ll be plenty of opportunities to find a DE in the 3rd round or later. At least the Redskins walk away with a damn good QB, someone who can play at a Pro Bowl level for the next decade. Haskins isn’t the guy. Guess we can share a small rivalry over this one but I think you’re wrong if you think Haskins is the guy in Washington. -

With the 2nd pick in the 2020 NFL Draft the Washington Redskins select Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama. I don’t mean to throw a wrench in this mock draft but the Redskins are absolutely stupid if they don’t go QB here. Chase Young is a ridiculous prospect but I just don’t think that Dwayne Haskins is the guy. I didn’t like him coming out and I still don’t feel any better about him after last year. The injury concerns surrounding Tua is just noise. I saw his pro day and he looked pretty darn healthy to me. You don’t pass on a Russell Wilson type prospect for a DE. I’m borrowing a page from the Arizona Cardinals and taking the elite QB prospect and putting Dwayne Haskins on the trading block. @frostbitmic You are on the clock, sir. -

Probably could’ve gotten more for Clowney, maybe an extra 3rd or something of that nature but I personally think that Clowney is extremely overrated. His production is underwhelming and disappointing to say the least. Has he ever had more than 9 sacks? He’s not even a double digit sack per year guy and he’s asking for $20M/yr? He’s just not that good. I think the was drunk when he made the Hopkins trade though. -
David Carr Criticizes Winston’s workout

I think they should shoot tennis balls at him instead like American Gladiator or maybe Jamies Winston should reach out to Uncle Rico, I heard they would have been state champs if they put him in. -
I don’t see Miami white knuckling it to #18 for Herbert, somebody will move up for him. With a premium on QBs, regardless of how you feel about him he’ll be over drafted by some team. Personally I think Herbert has a good arm and mobility, I reckon he can be a good QB in the NFL in the right environment. The longest I see him lasting to is about #10. Someone is gonna come up for him and Miami will be left without a QB. It’d be great to see Miami end up with Jordan Love but I think they go QB with that first pick.

Jalen Ramsey just proved that he’s a quitter and is mentally weak. He quit on the Jags, he’ll quit on the Rams and will likely quit on his next team and the team thereafter until he’s a washed up corner that’s been on 4-5 teams. Tre trusts in the process, he’s a stalwart on a playoff team, he will get paid and will likely be on the Bills for his entire career, it’s as simple as that.

You screwed up the entire draft by skipping on Tua/Herbert.

2020 mock drafts/ fanspeak/ draft network

One would assume Beane didn’t do his homework or was not confident in his ability to draft WRs if our draft was such. I expect a WR a RB a DE and a LB methodically taken throughout our draft. Also, Gibson will be a WR at the next level so in @BuffaloHokie13 scenario we don’t even draft a true RB. -
2020 Draft, biggest bust potential
ghostwriter replied to Cripple Creek's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Jordan Love will be terrible. He has no shot at being a starting NFL QB. I have no idea how this kid made the top 20. He’s bad. I wouldn’t take him till the 4th round and even then I’d have zero faith in him as a starter. He’s EJ Manuel all over again and I feel sorry for any team that takes him. Out of the league in 5 years. Please, New England, please take this guy in the first round. -
I’m a big fan of Josh Allen, but some folks might say he is a wild QB. At times he misses easy throws that even a high school QB could make only to follow through with a stellar pass that only a handful of QBs like Aaron Rodgers or Pat Mahomes would even think about trying. I think he just needs to be more consistent with his release and his footwork. Sometimes he releases the ball too high, other times too low. He is a gifted QB but can suffer from lazy mechanics. Kid is a really special talent. He has God given gifts that can make him a top 2-3 QB, he just needs to put it all together. I’m a huge believer in Allen, but I say this while knowing that this is about the long haul. It may take another year or two before he is polished enough to be the QB we wish him to be. That doesn’t mean that he won’t pay dividends before then, nor does it mean he’ll be a poor QB. It just means that he needs some time before he reaches that upper echelon of QBs. I’m grateful that we have a great defense and running attack behind him because that aspect is paramount for us if we want to win the division and make a push in the playoffs. Allen is raw, but he has a roster loaded with talent behind him. He doesn’t need to do it all, he has plenty of help. Let the defense do their thing, hand the ball off to Singletary and get the ball to your playmakers. Even if Allen just throws for 4,000 yards and 28 TDS while keeping the turnovers down, that’s probably good enough to go to the AFC Championship game or even a Super Bowl with this roster. Don’t try and do too much. He’s just not there yet.
