Leslie Frazier press conference 6/4
ghostwriter replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As far as what Jake Fromm said and as far as what other players around the league have said, I think you forgive them. Show mercy and clemency. It’s a great opportunity to recruit people to your cause and earn a few allies. No need to put someone on full blast when they could be working for you. -

Jake Fromm: Controversial comments
ghostwriter replied to Elite Poster's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it was just a bad joke. It’s not like he lynched anyone and this is coming from a man who hates racism, loves God and acknowledges and that my Savior is a Jew. Josh Allen made a bad joke in the past as well, cut him too. Bottom line is kids grow up. I admit that I’ve said and acted inappropriately in the past as well, but then I became a man and I turned away from my childish ways. -
I think when it’s all said and done and we reflect back on this 10, 20 years from now Josh Allen and TreDavious White will be on everyone’s Mount Rushmore.

Davis Webb running the FL workouts?
ghostwriter replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Would it be worth it though? I’d rather use that extra spot on WR and realistically what does Webb bring that Allen, Barkley and Fromm don’t? Allen is the guy it looks like going forward, Barkley is the teacher and Fromm is the learner. -

You keep Barkley and Fromm, Webb is out.... Josh Allen was noticeably better after we signed Matt Barkley. Barkley has been in the league 7 or 8 years now and has lots of experience which Webb and Fromm have none of. I think Barkley could have been a good starter in the league if he had a better arm... Anyways, you keep Barkley around to mentor Fromm and to backup Josh if he goes down. -

I was scared because I thought this was real. Thank goodness it’s not.

Who's your favorite Bill on the current roster?
ghostwriter replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like him too, I wanted him big time when he was a free agent. I also like John Brown a lot too but my love for Allen and White has the potential to be on my list of favorite Bills of all time. Like Kelly, Reed, Thurman and Bruce territory. I think Allen and Tre White have greatness in them, like HOF greatness slash perennial All Pro greatness in them. Special players. I love those two guys. -

I suspect Sean McDermott will be on that list one day. -
The Draft is a total crap shoot...
ghostwriter replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s a crapshoot for bad teams. Occasionally a good team misses but for the well run franchises in the league they hit more than they miss... -
In the day of having a salary cap and not being able to lock down every star player, which players do you think we should hand out contracts out to and who should we let walk? This is the new dynamic that GM Brandon Beane is facing. We have a deep deep roster and only so much cap space to go around. Look at the Cowboys and the way they’ve managed their cap, they have $5.6M in cap space and they went 8-8 last year. Who would you guys identify as cornerstone players and which positions do you guys value the most?

Flacco to the Jets on a one year deal...
ghostwriter replied to JoeF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wish I had something bad to say about this but I don’t. Flacco immediately comes in and helps mentor Sam Darnold. We all saw how Barkley helped Allen grow, now Sam has a savvy vet he can learn from. Good move for the Jets. -

Which Bills Starter is most likely to regress in 2020?
ghostwriter replied to BisonMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Singletary will have a similar stat sheet in 2020 as he did in 2019. Moss will be getting lots of carries in short yardage and goal line situations so Singletary’s numbers will suffer. I could see Moss with 800 yds and 10 TDS while Singletary gets 800 yds with 4 or 5 TDS. Should be a really competitive competition at RB this year. -
How do you see the right side of the OL?
ghostwriter replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Cody Ford could be an All Pro guard but given the lack of depth at RT, he may find himself starting at tackle. I don’t think he has the length nor the quickness to be a good RT. They’ll probably experiment with different combinations at RG and RT mainly Ford at RG and Williams/Nsekhe at RT. It’s his job to lose but eventually I think he loses the battle and ends up at RG and Feliciano goes to the bench. Spencer Long is signed through 2021 and Feliciano is a free agent so those two will be fighting for a spot on next year’s roster. I’m thinking Buffalo is hoping that Daryl Williams has a renaissance and returns back to form so Ford can go inside to guard where he belongs. In my mind, it’ll be: Dawkins/Spain/Morse/Ford/Williams RT would still be a potential need going into 2021, but I think Williams and Nsekhe should easily be able to match Ford’s production at RT. Williams may return to form, he may not, regardless Ford is an average RT and will be easily replaced. If he goes into RG though, we may have a Pro Bowler on our hands. I doubt Ford will be our starting RT, I think that’d be a mistake although I trust our coaching staff’s opinion over mine, I’m just thinking out loud. Anyways... -

This could be a Melvin Gordon situation. Should let him test FA and see what his best offer is and match it. -
I know you’re kidding but he’s still so young. There is a small portion of fans that ride him because he hasn’t met certain benchmarks statistically but he’s only 24, he’s still a baby. It’ll be interesting to see him when he’s 30. Gotta be patient, he has all the tools just needs some time.

How long til he gets sued?

I believe in forgiveness for first time offenders, harsher treatment for repeat offenders. Kid is 23 years old, there’s no hard drugs in the car, reduce it to a DUI. Only time I believe in extensive jail time is if that person has a problem and they need that time to sober up in the slammer. Some folks need that 6 months in jail otherwise they’ll never get sober.
