I really hope Mitch Morse retires.
Victory Formation replied to SageAgainstTheMachine's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Is the helmet what’s causing the concussions to begin with? Would people head butt each other with no helmet on? Would people shoot at each other’s knees like a torpedo without a helmet on? Would Kevin Everett have paralyzed himself without a helmet or Ryan Shazier? Think there’d be fewer injuries had players no helmet at all.. They use it like a weapon.. very dangerous.. -
Predict 2nd half of season
Victory Formation replied to Doc Brown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I understand what you’re saying.. but in my mind, that’s what I’m thinking.. This is kind of a wishy washy thread anyways.. I’m no guiltier than anyone else who posted their predictions here.. -
Predict 2nd half of season
Victory Formation replied to Doc Brown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Think the Steelers and Seahawks are guaranteed losses.. The Dolphins, Broncos and Patriots are guaranteed wins.. Everything else is 50/50.. 49ers and Chargers can go either way... Probably go 11-5.. win the division.. by the time we play New England their season will likely be over and at that point they’ll likely be tanking for a QB and will be in full rebuild mode.. -
Week 9: Seahawks at Bills
Victory Formation replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills have a 2 game lead in the division.. don’t see Buffalo beating the Seahawks but then again I don’t see Miami beating Arizona.. it’d be nice if we could pull out a upset though, we’ll see what happens.. -
Bills 24, Pats* 21 Game Balls!!
Victory Formation replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Zimmer has been fantastic, he gets the game ball for sure and as bad as our defense has been, I’d also have to say that Jordan Poyer has laid his body on the line, game in, game out. 11 tackles. He’s on pace for 130 tackles, he’s been incredible.. Dudes gonna have CTE before the season is over though and I’m not saying that jokingly, these LBs suck.. -
Justin Zimmer signed to active roster
Victory Formation replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I said it too.. And I bumped another thread about it too.. Would I give him a 4 year $50M contract? No. But for the $600k or whatever he’s getting paid is music to my ears.. He’s been our best lineman at times! -
Oliver.. He’s supposed to make Edmunds and Milano’s job easier.. So far o-linemen have been getting to the second level regularly.. He’s supposed to be a pass rush specialist but he never gets any pressure... sure as hell cant stop the run! Can’t count how many times Edmunds and Milano have had to eat up OL so Poyer, Hyde and Marlowe can make the tackle.. Poyer is on pace for 130 tackles.. If this continues on our LBs and DBs are going to get hurt.. Oliver is very bad.

I really hope Mitch Morse retires.

Should look into fish oil or a diet high in fatty fish... flaxseeds, hemp seeds, walnuts etc.. Whether he hangs em up... I don’t know... Nobody but Mitch knows how severe these concussions are.. I had one concussion, a very bad one at that and I gave up football immediately after.. That one did some damage... it’s pretty scary when it happens.. Ears ringing, dizzy, completely confused.. You wonder if you’ll come back from it.. but good God I hope he comes back with a full speedy recovery. -
It will be super interesting to see what McDaniels & Belichick do with a high end QB prospect — that much I must see!

I'd like to see Moss featured tomorrow...
Victory Formation replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was just searching around for a thread on this! Mongo had a huge impact on that OL.. Bates also had a great block on that 20 yard Moss run! -
Congrats from a Jets fan
Victory Formation replied to JetsFan20's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is talented.. Reminds me a lot of Dak Prescott.. And he can do a lot of the things Josh Allen does.. Not as strong a arm, but more accurate.. but he can do the QB sweep plays and QB draw plays that we like to run.. very talented kid.. should be a good player. -
Edmunds on last play...
Victory Formation replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I said the same thing in another thread and I hate to repeat myself but I think it’s important.. Buffalo needs a 6’5 365lbs NT we can plug into the center of that DL.. Most LBs can’t take on a 330lbs o-lineman.. they’ll get destroyed, even Ray Lewis would in his prime would get blown up.. Our DL is too light.. I want two big run stuffing DTs in the center of that DL next year and I think we’d be golden.. You still draft a LB with that first pick though and you sign Milano to a 1 year prove it deal.. 5th year option on Edmunds gets declined.. -
Completely out coached again.
Victory Formation replied to jamiezzz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We need a Ted Washington or a Fat Pat or Sam Adams in the middle of that DL and all will be well.. -
Zimmer needs to replace Oliver in starting lineup

Hey.. -
Josh Allen - week EIGHT report card
Victory Formation replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’d have to give him a C.. Very average today but he was going up against Bill Belichick.. Bill absolutely hates Buffalo with a passion.. You better believe he threw everything he possibly knew at Allen to confuse Josh.. This is a humiliating loss for New England.. no doubt about it.. -
D-Line Contracts (good news?)

Sean McDermott is the 2nd Best Coach in Bills History
Victory Formation replied to LB48's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was too young to see Saban and Knox — Marv was somebody that I absolutely loved.. McD is still a young buck but he at least belongs in the discussion.. How to rank them however, I don’t know.. -
How can I not be blown away by a corner who got cut by a 2-5 team that boasts of one of the worst defenses in the league? My friend, are you telling me that you are an expert on Worley? I told you why I’m concerned, now you tell me why you think he’s a good player.. Tell me why he’ll be good friend.
-
So you’re saying that Worley won’t be any good then? I tend to keep quiet when I don’t know what I’m talking bout.. I will trust Beane and McD over my opinion any day... but I am growing frustrated with the concept of signing every former ex-Panther to a deal when they hit free agency.. I can understand if that player is truly good but at this point we’re turning into the Carolina Bills.. familiarity is a great thing — but if you limit yourself to only players you’re familiar with then I think you’re limiting yourself in a pretty big way.. especially if the players you’re signing are from cellar dwelling teams.. I too disapprove of the rah rah circle jerks... I would rather that we are honest with our feelings.. Some posters like to talk us up after a win, only to have a meltdown after every loss.. I think those people are my least favorite... I tend to lurk more than I post... 99% of the time I spend here is reading.... YMMV

All-22 analysis: A.J. Epenesa
Victory Formation replied to artmalibu's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think he’s going to be just fine.. Doubt he’ll be a 20 sack a year kind of guy but it wouldn’t surprise me to see him post double digit sacks multiple times over the course of his career.. I actually think he’ll be good. -
Hot Take - Don’t pay Qbs
Victory Formation replied to C.Biscuit97's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You absolutely pay for a good QB, not just for an elite one.. Every snap goes through the QBs hands, they have the most say in the outcome of a game.. I think after that you must cherry pick whom else you are paying.. LT, C, WR, DE, MLB, CB & S.. Never pay a RB, never pay a DT.. RBs get hurt and their success is largely reliant on the OL.. DTs get lazy once you pay them.. You simply have to draft well and you must stockpile depth and talent and make trades so you can fill in the roster with cheap talent.. Trade down in the draft, groom backup QBs you can deal for high picks.. Good but not great players that are looking to get paid, you deal them for multiple picks so you can keep the cap down.. Playing the compensatory pick game, etc... Look no further than the Bucs... bottom feeders last year to overtaking the Saints for the NFC South..
