The Jets are going to go on a run
ghostwriter replied to JetsFan20's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Jets are going to go on a run to the toilet faster than I did yesterday after drinking two liters of prune juice. -
Well, just cus ya haven’t heard of em don’t mean they’re no good.. Goff, Ramsey, Donald, Kupp, Woods, Whitworth, Robinson, Brockers, Higbee etc.. when I played sports, my coach always told me to talk up the other team.. if ya beat em then ya beat a good opponent.. if you don’t do that and you lose, you kinda got egg on your face and you’re embarrassed.. once again, you’re overlooking the experience gap here... that’s what scares me the most.. the Rams have guys that have been to the Super Bowl with them.. compare that to Josh Allen who although looks promising has only had his coming out party the last two games of the season.. the experience gap frightens me.. and if Milano and Edmunds don’t play, Higbee vs our LBs could get nasty..
-
Super Bowl hangover can do that to the best of them.. Personally, I highly respect Sean McVay and the coaching staff he’s assembled in LA.. the Rams have a lot more experience than us.. they’ve actually been to a Super Bowl, we’ve yet to win a playoff game under McD.. unbelievably well coached team and a highly talented roster.. yeah this could go bad.. I like to think we’ll win but it could get really ugly... huge test for this Bills team, hope they’re up for it!

It’s true though my friend.. it’s true... Rams are a legit Super Bowl contender.. this is a hell of a test for this young Bills team...

Bills have hardest remaining schedule per FPI ESPN

Yes.... the Rams, believe it or not are a huge measuring stick for this team.. extremely well coached, very talented and experienced roster.. if we beat the Rams I think it will be pretty obvious that this Buffalo Bills team has arrived.. -
No hype - he’s an extremely good coach... very very good... will eventually get a ring...

Who is better? Josh Allen or Gardner Minshew

I think he is the new Ryan Fitzpatrick.. good enough to play for the bottom half of the league.. will probably never do anything meaningful in terms of wins and losses... but will make alotta money. -
Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah - Possible Milano Replacement
ghostwriter replied to H2o's topic in College Football
Could be. I think it’s either LB or OL in RD1. -
And how many teams passed on Lamar Jackson? Had the Ravens known, would they’ve waited to 32? Let alone traded down then nabbed him?

Ryan Fitzpatrick: Hall of Famer? or First Ballot HoFer?
ghostwriter replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
If he had a better arm he’d be a HOFer.. very smart QB, about as smart as any to ever play the game..but his arm is limited at best.. may catch some serious heat for this and may be a hot take.. but he has the brain of an elite QB with the arm of a wet noodle.. -

The Jalen Ramsey Foot In Mouth Thread
ghostwriter replied to KingBoots8's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Y’know, Ramsey still is a good corner... proceed with caution here.. Allen needs to know where Jalen Ramsey is at all times.. Sure, I think Diggs can torch the living daylights out of him but a lot of that will have to be from clever play designs and tricky play calling.. very possible, but we’re going against Jalen Ramsey.... we gotta be creative.. -
I was right about Allen but I was wrong about Jackson.. hit a few right, missed a few.. I guess the sun occasionally does shine on a dog’s ass for once..

Would You Trade For Zach Ertz?
ghostwriter replied to Buffalo03's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nahhhh... would probably take a 2nd and some change.. we need help on the OL and LB so bad that I don’t think you could justify spending a high pick on TE... while Knox hasn’t been good nor great he has been okay.. it’s not that he is not talented, he is mega talented, he makes big plays then disappears... consistency is his problem.. I think there is a reasonable amount of hope and optimism surrounding Knox.. I do think he can be a good TE in this league... and it’s not like our offense is struggling to put up points.. Bills boast a top 5 WR core in the NFL. -
I think both will play.. no way does Milano want to miss time during a contract year.. And if you’re the Bills, why baby him? He could be gone next year anyways.. Edmunds practiced most of last week.. he should be good to go.. they’ll play it cool but right now it’s clear that they don’t want to show their hand.. if I have to sit through another week of Klein and Dodson I’ll blow my stack..
-
I think you wait.. sure you could lock him up for pennies now but that wouldn’t be fair to Allen.. Right now I could see him getting $30M a year.. in a year or two if he continues on he’ll get $40M-$45M a year.. I think you wait a year and then you extend him.. pay him what he’s worth.. it’s the right thing to do..

Bills Playcalling with 10 Personnel
ghostwriter replied to cage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Did he not have a 38 yard reception? He is very raw but he can occasionally make a big time play.. so yes I see the Josh Allen comparison... let em learn.. -
Regardless, pretty much 6 easy wins for them every year for the last 20 years.. Bills made the playoffs last year at 10-6... think about that, Patriots only needed 4 wins every year outside of the division to win the AFC East every year...
-
Did the Patriots not get credit for capitalizing on a weak division for the last 20 years?

Vikings fans already bemoaning the trade

I’m not saying that the WRs drafted in the 1st-2nd round will be garbage, in many respects I still think this was a really strong draft class... however, how long will it take them to click? Allen, Daboll and McD are in a pivotal year.. we cannot wait 2 or 3 years for them to develop.... our window is now. -
It seemed implied.. but truth be told, Diggs is so good that I could see him beating Ramsey quite a bit.. and Allen has the arm to get it there.. he may not get 10 catches for 158 yards but I could see 5-6 catches for 68-80 yards.. I think with a player like Diggs and a QB like Allen, even against the best CB in the business we should still see some movement there.. then you factor in Brown, Beasley and Knox and the Rams have a legit nightmare on their hands.. Diggs is too good to be a decoy.
