  1. Josh Norman looked to be beating out Levi Wallace for that #2 CB job. All reports I’ve read said he was looking very good.
  2. I think it makes a lot of sense... but it also suggests that the Dolphins are still 2-3 years away from competing.. Fitz isn’t going to lead your team to the playoffs but he is one of the smartest QBs in the NFL and it also allows the Dolphins to nurse Tua to full health and give him time to understand the playbook.. Question is, how much time does Tua have before he is the starter? Is it Week 2? Week 6? Week 10? Doubt Fitz makes it through the full season.
  3. Right, but a Josh Allen thread or a Stefon Diggs thread or an AJ Epenesa thread makes a ton of sense as well. I think it’s a brilliant idea to combine all updates and subjects into a player specific thread. I would gladly read through 80 pages of Josh Allen updates or Ed Oliver updates.. No need for a new thread every day on one of them.. Just post any new updates in that player’s specific thread. I think that’s highly organized and people would gladly read through page after page of that..
  4. I’ve been waiting for that.. If I had to guess he’ll be paid as a top 5 coach.. I’m assuming it’ll be between $8M and $10M, which I think is more than fair and appropriate.
  5. I think a daily thread can carry on more steam than a weekly thread. However, if there is a hot topic on Josh Allen or Stefon Diggs etc Those daily training camp updates should be posted in that player specific thread. No need for a continuous daily thread on X player, just post that in one thread. Everything else gets its own daily thread.
  6. Probably a bit of a hyperbole on my part but there is some truth said in jest. It has happened before in the past and not just with training camp threads but by merging likewise threads together when there are nuances that differentiate the two from each other. Most folks aren’t going to patiently read through 80 page threads. I think small concise threads that are short and sweet but straight to the point will lead to greater discussions on this board.. I’ve had a really hard time engaging in discussions here lately, the board just seems to be really backed up and constipated. I don’t think merging 100 threads on a 100 different topics creates organization, I think it creates disorganization and chaos. I like it when there’s 10 different hot topics I can read through on the front page instead of merging all these subjects into 1 thread where I have the darnest time discussing topics that interest me. I don’t see how that approach is more organized.. I think it’s constricting discussion..
  7. I think daily threads make the most sense and would create a lot more traffic to the boards.. Nobody wants to read through 30 pages of garbage to get their daily Bills fix.. I could see weekly threads being a comfortable medium but one training camp thread for the entirety of training camp completely constipates the board. Especially when nobody can stay on topic and you have to sift through page after page of nonsense to find maybe one nugget of information that is pertinent to the topic at hand.. I love the Bills but I don’t have the time nor interest to read through 80 pages of BS to get my Bills fix.. I’ll get my news elsewhere.
  8. I do think it would be a good idea for Terry & Kim to ask Mr. Beane for advice on whom to hire and what to look for. He may have valuable insight in that regard. Maybe there’s some universal parallels that could translate over into the hockey world...
  9. Winters is a Jets castoff.... their line really isn’t that good. Ford was projected as a first round pick by many and we had to trade up and get him early in the second round. Then you have to factor in that Ford started for us last year so there is more continuity on the line. This is his second year under Bobby Johnson so he has more familiarity with the audibles and blocking formations and playbook. Ford is also 23 and Winters is 29. Ford has 3 more years on his deal, Winters has 1. Ford is clearly not a RT, he is too slow, but he has so much power in his game that he’d be a natural at guard. We are a team built to win now but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t develop our younger players because after all we are still a very young team.
  10. You really think Winters would be a better guard than Ford? It’s not like Ford has zero experience and once again he has a very good pedigree to grow and be an above average guard. Winters was released by the Jets...
  11. It shows a level of humility that is present within our leadership. I think that’s a huge positive because when you are humble you can ask yourself serious questions and then you are able to get the right answers and grow from it. It’s the complete opposite of the Adam Gase, Rex Ryan and Gregg Williams type of people of the world who think they know everything.. Could never stand those types, they’re annoying and usually they’re the ones that know the least..
  12. Nah.... leave him in.. I’d love to see Gilmore’s reaction as the Bills blowout the Patriots twice this year..
  13. Most likely yeah... I think Ford has bigger potential and a way higher ceiling.. I heard someone compare him to Richie Incognito at RG which I feel is pretty accurate..
  14. I think Ford belongs at RG.. I think he could be an All Pro there. Doesn’t have the length, athleticism or feet to play RT.. Still an extremely versatile lineman which is valuable but I think with Mongo out Ford should slide into RG and Nsekhe or Williams should give it a go at RT..
  15. I think we’ll get there man. Bills are a powerhouse, just need Allen to step up and be the man.
  16. He is a good player, a solid player but not a great player. 9$M-10$M is what a very good player if not borderline elite player should receive. I’ll acknowledge though that there is a wildcard involved here. I saw leaked photos of Milano and he looks like a hammer, his conditioning is absurd. Looks like he is up to 240-245lbs now. He really looks like he has a lot more power now which was my biggest knock on him. Very good in coverage but I’d like to see him act as a hammer in run support. Let him play out his deal and if he shows improvement go ahead and offer him $9M-$10M a year. If he is willing to take a team friendly deal now however I would absolutely go for it. Once again though I feel it’s unwise to give good players great contracts, it’ll get us into cap trouble down the line. Buffalo is going to have to make some very very difficult choices in the future, we are a powerhouse. It sounds really weird to say but it’s true. We can’t pay everyone, we must identify key players to build around and Milano isn’t one of them.
  17. It makes sense, I don’t mean to state the obvious, we already have 17 pages of redundancy at this point. Nothing more to say other than it makes a lot of sense. Don’t think anyone can make a serious argument against not re-signing Coach McDermott. Although we as fans should expect a Lombardi at some point during the next 6 years, team is too loaded not to.
  18. If you wanna be gay, be gay then. But there’s no need to be inappropriate and cross so many basic lines and boundaries every chance you get though. We get it, you’re ***** but no need to antagonize people with offensive language, it’s just not cool. It’s not about intolerance at this point. Rather nobody gives a damn about which player you’re going to rub one off to later and I’m sick of hearing about it. I really really really don’t want to hear it. Could you please consider refraining from posting inappropriate sexual innuendos on this board? Once again it shows a complete disregard for sexual social norms which is really really really weird.
  19. I think Allen will be elite, probably in that top 2-3 range behind Mahomes when all is said and done.
  20. I think $20M for an All-Pro CB is a fair deal. Tre probably won us two games last year alone. I think QB, DE and CB are probably the three positions I’m okay with spending that kind of money on.. Maybe WR if he is truly elite.. He practically shuts down his side of the field, good character guy, never causes any problems... he’s probably my favorite player on the team not named Josh Allen..
