And as @Simon pointed out in another thread. The quality of competition hasn’t exactly been that great. Give it some weeks and we’ll see how that is. We’ve got some tough games coming up. Against tough teams. Tough defenses. Offenses that will make the games become shootouts. I sure hope these WRs step up when that is required for wins. and I’m not saying they can’t or won’t.
It’s unreal to see the Bills win a game 40-10. It almost reminds me of when New England and Tom Brady would beat the Bills in blowout wins during the drought years..

What an ignorant post
Simon, Simon, Simon.. You’re making a judgement based off of abstract terms.
There is no greater expression of how good a QB is other than how many rings he has on his fingers. Brady has 7, Montana has 4 and Mahomes has 3.
Where’s the hardware?

Well Joe is like 60 so probably not but yea I’d probably take Montana over Allen. Do people forget Montana is like a top 10 guy in this history of the game?
This argument is legit the same as Aaron Rodgers/ Peyton Manning vs Tom Brady. For years people would say Rodgers and Manning were they best pure passers in the game while Brady just racked up SB titles
Different game back then too.. Apples to oranges..

I'm not talking about team results or about past performances. I'm talking about right now.
And it's not really all that close.
Mahomes will certainly find his rhythm and close the gap, but he has a ways to go before he's as good as Allen is right now.
If Josh has a bad game next week you’ll flip.

Nope not until Josh beats him when it counts.
Until Josh gets his first Lombardi this should not be discussed. And Josh should absolutely at some point get his first Lombardi, he’s more than good enough.

Im not saying not to draft anymore WRs, and I’m not saying only sign guys who block.
What I am saying that what we are seeing is a sum of all the parts and the chemistry they have on the field is what is the engine of this offense right now. And I am not so sure if you take out one of those pieces and add in someone who demands the ball more it actually makes it work better.
Just my 2 cents
There will be games where Shakir, Keon and Kincaid will have to carry our offense. Just because we haven’t seen it yet doesn’t mean that it won’t happen.. I’m sure it will.

I like the idea of going local when we can, so long as the talent is there.

I was annoyed that Frank Reich took Bryce Young over CJ Stroud. I lost a lot of respect for him after that. 5’10 QBs don’t cut it in the NFL.

If you’re like me and you have loved ones who are in their 60s/70s, cherish every moment you have with them.

Fall is here, this is pretty much my favorite season in the entire year!

It depends. If the game is at 1PM I like to watch it with my Dad/family, but if it’s a night game at like 7:30/8:00 I prefer to watch it alone. Night games totally derail my schedule.

I think our guys simply need experience.

In another year or two that will be an average deal..

Why is neither side leaking the dollars ? They both unhappy? Probably the sign of a good deal then..
I’m not by any means an accountant but I think $18M/yr puts him around the top 15-17ish overall when it comes to tackles.

Sorry I edited it. I meant that’s would I would sign him for
Oh, ok. I’m thinking it’s anywhere from $14M-$18M a year, but that’s just my guess.

If Coleman balls out, it’s a non issue. If Worthy balls out and Coleman does not, this will embarrass our front office.

If it’s over 12M a year I’m gonna be bummed. Have a feeling it’s way more that 12M a year. Right tackles….not a fan of paying them big bucks
Well, some linemen are getting paid $20M plus these days. If it’s for $12M-$14.5M I can’t complain. That will be middle of the road money in another year or two.

Well Keon Coleman you’re on deck. The Chiefs have found their new toy and we just gave it to em.
Well the chiefs won so Andy Reid is taking the team out for pizza after the game.

They would, but I would guess that if you did a blind poll of GMs, Allen would be the pick for 95-100% of them.
Fair enough, but if we did a redraft of the 2018 Draft, Allen would go to the Browns and Lamar to the Giants.
Is it time to think massive long term extension for Christian Benford?
