  1. The production between a RB and a WR is rather comparable in many ways. A top WR can get you a 1,000yds, a good RB will also get you close to that.. Same goes for TDs… I would actually feel far better if we signed Cook to a 3yr $36M contract instead of Josh Palmer.. our window to win is now.
  2. But Josh Palmer is worth $12M/year? And he’s a #3-#4 WR at best? But we can’t pay a top 10 RB the same money? Cook will likely score more TDS and produce more yards in 2025 than Palmer by miles.. Our window is now, you can’t let our most deadly weapon on offense not named Josh Allen go..
  3. If Josh Palmer is worth $12M/year, how in the world is James Cook at least not worth that much?
  4. Our CBs play way too far off the los. If we played press a lot more often it would stop Mahomes from getting the ball out so quickly. It would give our pass rush more time to get there too.
  5. If our window to win is now, why not extend Cook to 2-3 year deal?
  6. I’m still only slightly satisfied but I’d give our external FA grade a B now.
  7. I think they should use him as a pass rushing specialist.. Put someone else in on obvious running situations, put Bosa in there when we need to get after the QB.
  8. I understand that, but what if he goes ballistic? It’s a risk/reward type of scenario and it’s not like he’s Shawne Merriman type of washed. He’s only 29. Keep him fresh, rotate him in and out.. Could be a 10+ sack per year kind of guy.. Who cares about $12.5M? We paid Josh Palmer that..
  9. Bosa at 80% is a 10+ sack guy per year. Hopefully we limit his snap count so he can stay healthy. If Bosa returns to form we have an elite DE to pair with Rousseau… $12.5M is small potatoes.
  10. This my friend makes me excited. WELL DONE BEANE.
  11. I’m sure we’ll add a few vets but I’m not sure we’ll pay anyone big money, if we do I think that it would be ill advised. If they pant to pay Benford, great, but I think we should add a Dane Jackson or Rasul Douglas type of player to compete with Kaiir Elam.
  12. If they truly want to pay a CB big money they might as well just pay Benford and draft another.
  13. 30: R1 P30 DL Tyleik Williams - Ohio St 56: R2 P24 EDGE JT Tuimoloau - Ohio St 62: R2 P30 DL Deone Walker - Kentucky 109: R4 P7 QB Riley Leonard - Notre Dame 132: R4 P30 S Sebastian Castro - Iowa 138: R4 P36 RB Trevor Etienne - Georgia 170: R5 P32 WR Dont'e Thornton Jr - Tennessee 177: R6 P1 CB Jermari Harris - Iowa 204: R6 P28 LB Jay Higgins - Iowa 206: R6 P30 CB Jaylin Smith - USC
  14. They’ve retained some really good players (Josh, Groot, Bernard) A+++ As far as FA in general goes, I am really, really underwhelmed. C-
  15. Beane and McD have made some great moves in the past, but sometimes I feel like your average fan could do a better job. I’m not excited by Hoecht or Palmer but I’ll have to patiently wait and see.. I will end with a gratitude statement however. Extending Josh Allen, Greg Rousseau and Terrell Bernard were excellent moves and should be regarded as such. Hopefully McD/Beane finish out strong. GO BILLS
  16. I am very underwhelmed so far… I love the Allen and Rousseau extensions but I have a real bad feeling about Hoecht and Palmer.. What the eff are we even doing?
  17. I think the franchise tag for CBs is about $20M. I’m kind of on the fence when it comes to Benford. 1.) I think you build through the trenches and 2.) Our defense is a very CB friendly system. I think you let Benford play out this year on his rookie deal and you either extend him or tag him at the end of the year..
  18. I’m not really excited right now to be honest, but I will just have to patiently wait and see.. (FA in general, not just this signing..)
  19. Is Benford worth $20M+ a year?
  20. They could give Josh a 10yr $1,000,000,000 and I’d be happy!
  21. It’s tough to say. Some players are willing to bet on themselves but others are willing to take less money in case they get injured or have a bad season. He may never have the chance to make $44M ever again. One ACL tear and he will be making $5M/year on one year deals for the rest of his career. I’d take the money if it was me.
  22. Josh Palmer > Mack Hollins Plus, I don’t think we’re done at WR yet.
  23. He has one year left on his deal, he is set to make $5M this season. I think Buffalo should add three years onto his existing deal and add $39M in new money. So he would be somewhere in the 4 year $44M (or $11M/year) territory. He would make less than he would on the open market but a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Stefon Diggs bet on himself, how did that work out? $44M is life changing money.
  24. I think there should be relatively deep depth at DE/DT throughout RDs 1-2.
  25. This is a great year for DL in the draft..
