Superbowl Game Thread - Chiefs vs Eagles
LarryMadman replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is disgusting how easily the Chiefs are being dominated and the Bills couldn't even slow them down at all. WTF -

It better, but I'm still not holding out hope that a McDermott defense can stop Andy Reid from taking his lunch money again and again and again -

WTF, if the Bills defense was only half as good as the Eagles they would be playing today. -

Disgusting how McDermotts defense let's KC do what ever they want. -
Is McD actually compensating for Beane?
LarryMadman replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think it's simple, Beane gets the players McDermott wants. There is no way Beane just gets players and says here you go Sean make it work, that doesnt happen. -
Hot Take: Does Bobby Babich Lose His Job?
LarryMadman replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
How is that possible, seems as all the Bills do is draft defense and spend huge $$$ on defensive FA. -
It Goes Back to 13 Seconds, Doesn't It?

Hot Take: Does Bobby Babich Lose His Job?
LarryMadman replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
Babich, like Frazier are/were just job title holders, this defense hasnt really changed in the Sean era regardless of who the DC is. Its Seans hand picked coaches and players playing the same form or variation of a Sean designed defense, maybe a few wrinkles here and there but in the end it's the defense Sean wants and what gets played. The blame game needs to start at the top, these coaches and players were hand picked by the HC to be in his system as that is who he wanted, he needs to be held accountable, everything else is just fodder. -
So then the question is 1) Would you rather win a Super Bowl having to go through the ups and downs that changing coaches brings until you find that guy to lead them to a SB win? OR 2) Would you rather be relevent each year only to lose in the playoffs year in and year out never acheiving a Super Bowl win? Give me 1 all day

good comments from Bills players in this new Athletic piece
LarryMadman replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Unfortunatly I expect the Chiefs to crush the Eagles, they will take away Barkley and force Hurts to beat them with his are which he won't come close to doing. -

Holy smokes, what more proof is needed to understand McDermott needs to go. Players coming out and saying ***** like that, wow time to go Sean. -
Whats funny is a bunch of the same McDermott apologists were saying after last years loss give him one more year and if he cant win it all then he should be replaced are again saying give him until next year. No, he isnt going to magically outcoach Andy Reid next year, Reid must be laughing everytime he steals Seans lunch money. Its gotten to be pure comedy hour thinking Sean will beat Reid in the playoffs.

Nah, I don't think he is any lesser of a QB than Mahomes, Allen just has this huge anchor he is also trying to drag across the finish line whereas Mahomes doesnt. Good coaching matters and Mahomes has way better coaches therefor his job is made easier.

This is rare but I agree with this analysis
LarryMadman replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yup, I can agree with that. Good coaching matters -
Yay, got another playoff participation trophy, yay!

If Allen asks for a new staff he should get it.
LarryMadman replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall
Possible they could all go 0-5 like McDermott vs Reid but my money is on them giving Reid a loss or 2 or 3. Reid with Mahomes is not invincible, whats his face in Cincy beat him as did Areans in Tampa. Mcdermott has proven he cant beat him in the playoffs when the stakes are the highest. -

Dont know why you moved the goalposts, the talk was about coaches specifically Sirriani, Ryans and Campbell and you changed it to teams. Houston is 0-3 vs Reid, wasnt about Houston it was about Ryans who is 0-1. -

0-4 (made up number) is a stretch, combined no less whereas McDermott is 0-5 all by himself........Sirriani 0-1 Super Bowl loss Ryans 0-1 loss this year, no? Wasn't aware Detroit or Philly could ever play KC in the playoffs except a Super Bowl and it happened exactaly once. Please, keep going with the McDermott is the best thing since sliced bread and nobody could possibly be better narrative. 0-4 (made up number) is a stretch, combined no less whereas McDermott is 0-5 all by himself........Sirriani 0-1 Super Bowl loss Ryans 0-1 loss this year, no? I'll bet you anything Sirriani, Ryans and Campbell would not be 0-5 each in the playoffs against Reid and Co like McDermott is and that is without Allen as their QB. -

Regression, why, because you say so, get out of here with that. Right Payton had a first ballot HOF and won, McDermott has a first ballot HOF QB and cant win, none of those others had a first ballot HOF QB and would love to see what they could do with a first ballot HOF. At what point do you apologists see that McDermott isn't going to get over the hump? 5 more years? When Josh is gone? Enough of this same frusterating boring movie already. -

LarryMadman replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall
In the past couple years did anyone know how good Sirriani, Campbell, Ryans would be? The past couple years Vrable, Payton, Belichick, Harbaugh, Quinn have all been available. This narrative that nobody could ever be better than McDermott is bunk. Its just scared chicke ***** talk! Grow a set, take a chance! -
It's really got to be tough and taxing on Josh knowing full well he needs to be perfect and that still hasent been good enough because of his coach. Josh not only knows he has to play against the opponent, he also has to play against the refs and make up for his own coaches incompetence (from gameplans, game decisions, and personel decisions). When does Josh say enough is enough and call his own shots, (trade, players, gameplan). We're frusterated as fans watching this same movie over and over, I couldn't imaging being in it, his frusteration has to be close to a tipping point. Terry better listen to Josh or he's going to lose him.
