Kinda feel like this Colts game is a test for the Pats coming up. If we stop the run in this game and make Wentz try to beat us it bodes well for stopping the Pats and making Jones try to beat us. If we can't stop Taylor and can't stop the Pats running game then both QB's will have a much easier time against us. Star being out is worrisome. In both scenarios I feel like if we stop the run neither of these QB's will beat us. Just my opinion.
Squishy transmission was caught in drive
Spider man was squinting at the sand in the sky
Spider woman in the front seat, screamin' "Go, Go, Go,"
He's ridin' the accelerator down to the floor with his fuzzy little toe
Little blue dune buggy
Jerry was a race car driver
He drove so goddamned fast
Never did win no checkered flags
But he never did come in last
Jerry was a race car driver
He'd say "El Sob number one"
With a Bocephus sticker on his 442
He'd light 'em up just for fun
If you shut down the run Mac Jones isn't Brady yet and his pass catchers aren't great either. If you let every back the Pats have rip off good runs the Jones and the Pats receivers will look like all stars. As always the Pats defense will probably come to play and our defense getting a few turnovers could go a long way.
I didn't realize he fumbled so much in the passing game. I didn't remember him losing the ball rushing but I guess the guy can't hold onto it after a catch.
Why is Singletary chopped liver? Why aren't more people crying for him just to get more carries? The guy isn't a bruiser but neither is Moss or Breida. Every time he gets carries he produces. He doesn't fumble. I just don't understand why the guy isn't getting more than 7 carries a game.
Where the hell is that 280 pound fullback the Ravens have? Want to see him pound out some holes in that Miami defense. Why the hell did that WR not run out of bounds?
Pats perfected the rub routes using rbs, which opened up the TE down the seam. Then when teams tried to cover those they'd get the WR's involved down the field. If we can't run effectively and the rush is getting to us we need to be extra efficient in our short passing game and the more effective we are the better chance we have of opening things up for the WR's later. Wouldn't hurt to get our rb's better involved in the passing game.
He processes everything 1 second too slow. Even the pull down and run decision is too late. He could be wrecking them if he'd just take off but by the time he gets his big frame rolling down the field the Ravens are chasing him.
Same offense that was blamed for our problems when we were losing under Rex Ryan. Meanwhile the defense was giving up 30 plus to the Dolphins and Jets.
