How about TD's? I think the fact that he is constantly compared to 1st and 2nd round picks by many shows what a value he is. Maybe he is not a high percentage chain moving threat like Diggs but he is a threat. With his average depth of target, yards per reception, and TD's the defenses have to account for him. We don't take enough advantage in our mid and short game and that's not his fault. A good number of Gabe's targets probably should have been a swing pass or some Kelce like TE route but we don't use those. My guess is that if Diggs went down Davis would get more slants and hooks and his catch percentage would be much improved but he still wouldn't be who you'd want starting at the 1 spot. He's a good 4th round pick playing well enough to be a #2. He's not a 1st or 2nd round pick or a free agent you paid a bunch of money so as far as resources used vs production he's a pretty good value. In my opinion he's good enough I don't want to spend a 1st or 2nd round pick on WR when we have so many needs on the OL or possibly secondary. Especially when a rookie WR isn't necessarily going to get you anything more on the scoreboard. If we actually ran the ball the fact that he is a great run blocker might mean something also.

I like Edmunds and I'm sure in their minds they think there is no way we can play our defense without Edmunds but lets not forget we gave up roughly the same ppg in 2017 with Preston Brown at MLB and made the playoffs.

Again it's amazing what some quick passes and a running game will do to slow down a pass rush. If you just drop back every snap the defense knows where to find you and if you like to hold the ball for the deeper routes not only are you throwing lower percentage passes even on target you are increasing the chances your line can't block that long. I'm all for blocking it up and taking a deep shot but you have to make moving the chains easier and you have to slow down that pass rush. If you get the ball out early and move the chains 3 or 4 times the pass rush slows down.

There should be someone in charge of keeping the mic away from Kelce.
-
When they were healthy.
-
Guess fumbling the football and turnovers matter.
-
Mahomes about to fist bump some refs.
-
Only hand checking all game long occurred within one yard of the line of scrimmage and with the Eagles about to get the ball back in the fourth ........... amazing.
-
Wonder if the Chiefs squib it with 13 seconds left?
-
So this is essentially like our game last year vs the Chiefs. Whoever has the ball last.
-
That safety is a head injury looking to happen also.
-
Quick throws, rpos, and running the ball. Haven't even seen Kelce go off yet.
-
Well no offense but Marlowe wasn't doing any of that from the safety spot.
-
and the Chiefs came out with 3 straight runs to take the heat off from Mahomes. Both teams know how to mix it up.
-
So both of these DC should be fired right?
-
Tons of short passes and running then you strike deep.
-
Josh holds on the ball way to long sometimes and we refuse to hand the ball enough to cool off the other teams pass rush.
-
As many Lemmings jumping off cliffs now a days I hate to tell you this but a healthy Bill's team could compete with either of these clubs. You need your stars to be healthy and a few things to go your way. Hurts has played great but one fumble makes a huge difference.

Eagles scored 27 so far ........... think Chiefs fans are trying to fire Spagnola?
-
Can't be productive if you don't get the carries. We don't run the ball. Not even that we can't .......... we just don't.
-
Yes but we don't do them any favors. Eagles run the ball and Hurts takes the short pass 75 percent of the time and mixes it in deep. We throw the ball 90 percent of the time and hold the ball and throw deep every other play. Teams aren't even worried about the run. They just rush the QB.
-
Still averaging under 4 per carry. Still running the ball.
-
Eagles averaging under 4 a carry ............. still running the ball.
-
Eagles short passing game is on point. Deep passing they've hit one maybe two. That is why teams were daring us to throw deep all the time. Even you get one on ones and the guy has a chance it's just harder to complete when you are throwing it 20 yards down the field every play.

I like Cook but realistically we only hand the ball off 10 times a game = not a chance.
