  1. Gabe Davis led the WR's in snap count in 2022 and 2023. I think Coleman has a skill set that lends itself to being on the field in almost any set. I still think Hollins is the Gabe replacement but Coleman is a plus receiver who can also do all the dirty work.
  2. Not according to lawyers.com. Reckless driving is a misdemeanor. I mean maybe not in Florida. Where I live you stand a good chance of going to jail with reckless driving or 30 over. https://legal-info.lawyers.com/criminal/traffic-violations/can-a-speeding-ticket-be-a-misdemeanor-or-felony.html
  3. I just saw that ....................... This is what happens when a truck guy opens his proverbial mouth.
  4. Can't sit on the ground, but drives a Lamborghini ................ am I right?
  5. Trying to think of the last time I was walking down a busy street in a 30 mph zone and had a car go by at 60mph (at least) and thought to myself boy I hope the cops treat that guy nice when they catch him.
  6. It starts with thinking you are better than everyone else and you have the right to play speed racer in heavy traffic. At least a couple times a year some NFL player runs over some innocent people driving like a clown. Everyone is lucky this story didn't have that in it.
  7. Waiting for some all 22 but Murray averaged 5 yards per pass and the two big missed tackles I've seen in the replays so far were Bernard and later Elam (on the kickoff coverage). It would easy to say it was a problem with the safeties but I haven't seen that yet. Not saying it isn't true but my thinking is the first half scheme needed a change and then everything got better.
  8. By the same token Josh is so good on so many plays they can't admit when the OC called a great play action play and Allen just missed the TD shot. I've read dozens of comment saying why run the ball and why no play action and yet we set up the shot, took it, and Allen just missed it. Can't blame the play caller for that.
  9. Elam has repeatedly had problems tackling. His coverage has improved to the point where he could arguably be counted on but he has yet to string together a series of games where he doesn't miss some tackles that make you think you will never stop the other teams rushing attack with him in the game. Today there were 3 guys the kick returner ran through and they were 5, 41, and 22. That would be Elam, Gilliam, and Davis with the majority of the blame landing on Elam.
  10. Just remembered White plays for the Rams now. Coincidence the Lions aren't throwing the a ball? I'm kidding. Haven't heard his name called yet.
  11. We set it up, we ran it, Allen missed the TD. Hopefully we keep doing it. The TD was there and Allen will hit it next time.
  12. Meh Kurt Warner used to do that all the time (sarcasm).
  13. I like that we have multiple "jabs" now to set up other stuff. I like that we don't go away from the run but if we are having a hard time running and they are selling out I suspect you will see Kincaid and Shakir get a lot more targets and that will set up Hollins and Coleman outside.
  14. Yup .................. and we had a TD if Allen hit it. I hate to keep bringing it up because it sounds like I'm doing an Allen thing. I'm just trying to say the play calling was good. We were running well early. We kept running it enough to set up the passing. We had a TD shot called based off play action. Allen didn't hit it. It was good play calling.
  15. It wasn't first down but Allen missed the deep throw from play action. One of only 5 misses all day though.
  16. It's the big picture. Those runs set up the passes. It's like having a good jab in boxing, you have to keep using it to set everything else up.
  17. I'll put on my flame suit here and say Hollins is the Davis replacement not Coleman and so Hollins is more comparable. That said I also think the point is that Hollins will do a lot of what Davis did as a reciever (catching and blocking) and will have more consistent hands and a much friendlier cap hit.
  18. I saw at least 3 missed tackles on the kick return and Brady was great. I'm betting no one told Bass to kick it out of bounds on the kickoff either. The defense I certainly agree but I guess whatever they did at least the second half was better.
  19. So Nix finally hits 100 yards passing with almost 40 passes and manages to then throw another pick.
  20. Reasons I love my wife ...... out of the blue she says "that announcer has an annoying voice" and the announcer is Brady. I just said yes he does.
  21. I think it's the hype that made me check in to see how he is doing. So many reports that Payton might have "his" guy. Maybe he'll bounce back but this game so far has been ugly.
  22. I'm not doing the math but I think he might be avearging more per rush than he is per pass and he's averaging 2.7 yards per carry.
  23. That is why I said speaking of having a rough day, figured that lead in to the sarcasm would work. In short it was sarcasm. I figured the 28 passes and 75 yards would speak for itself.
  24. Speaking of QB's having a rough day .......... Bo Nix is having one hell of a debut in Denver. Sean Payton seems to be like Belichick without Brady.
  25. It was more or less inconsequential but Codrington might actually be a decent kick returner which would be a nice find.
