  1. Allen has blinders on short .............. just hold the ball and take sacks. Teams have it figured out. Unless Allen starts ripping off big runs or we commit to a running game our passing game is going to look like this frequently.
  2. Can the Bears play defense here?
  3. Thanks for nothing Raiders.
  4. Remember how good Stroud looked when he wasn't turning the ball over ...............
  5. Maybe he want's to play a season where his QB has more than two games where he doesn't turn the ball over.
  6. Tell me Warren doesn't remind you of Willie Parker.
  7. Young isn't the going to save the Panthers.
  8. Redskins have 9 sacks and are losing that said the offense has 4 turnovers.
  9. Definiteyly height and weight but for his size people were expecting him to be faster and a 4.49 is faster than let's say a Davis or more recently Shorter but they're also both over 6 foot and 200 something pounds.
  10. Tank Dell is is yet another reason combine numbers and other measurables are sometime dumb.
  11. They sure let the Steelers DB's play. We had that kind of contact there would be laundry all over the field.
  12. Moss looks better. Moss is a one cut back much better suited for Indy's offense. Singletary is just getting more carries now he's starting in Houston he did well when he was here when we gave him the ball. Not sure what people are complaining about Cooks is pretty good also. Problem here for years has been committing to the running game, not the backs carrying the ball.
  13. Didn't realize I had comments off
  14. First time trying a poll. Lets see who people have. I'm leaning toward Floyd but I'm rooting for AJ. I think if Groot wasn't injured this would be a tighter race.
  15. I'm with you. It was probably an exhausting year. Lots of truth when he said Josh isn't running so everyone is playing coverage and treating him like a pocket passer. It changes the looks Josh is throwing against.
  16. It's the second and 10 throws 15 yards down the field into coverage with guys open underneath that I wish would change. Until you make them pay taking the underneath stuff they're never going to come out of 2 high looks. There's so much All 22 film out there now and from several different sources breaking down the film and they all show pretty much the same thing. There's also something to be said for drops and fumbles ending drives that might have ended in Allen TD's kind of skewing the explosive plays that are largely what Josh is missing at this point.
  17. More content for the masses ...................
  18. No I agree and that's why (completely speculating) I think McDermott might have thought Dorsey could not get Allen to game manage enough to win the tight defensive games. He probably thought Dorsey was to close to Allen to get the desired effect. I get it everyone loves Allen in a shootout but the NFL defenses this year are winning against the good QB's and if you can't keep the turnovers down you lose. We either need to run the ball more/better or Josh needs to hurt defenses with underneath stuff or they'll play shell defenses with safeties over the top and he'll hold the ball and take sacks and have turnovers.
  19. Buffalo 28 Jets 10 I think the defense and the deadline additions will be surprisingly good. The Jets will not run it like they did in the first game and Wilson is limited. We play offense like we have all year but without turnovers and that difference alone makes a big difference.
  20. My biggest gripe with Orlovsky is that he's talking about having to play at a 10 out of 10 level yet game after game there are guys running open that Josh is refusing to throw to as he throws into coverage 15 yards down the field. A lot of talk about scheming guys open but any All 22 review says that there are guys open. I suspect Dorsey's problem was McDermott wanted someone to be in Josh's face about playing in the system and going more conservative and Josh is hard to reign in and Dorsey is to close to him to do it.
  21. Peterson knowing or not that was a horrible throw into coverage on 2nd down. The throw was at least 5 yards short of where it should have been and the TE was open earlier.
  22. Interestingly Davis had 93 yards and a TD on him and if Josh doesn't fumble in the end zone Peterson never gets a game winning pick. Probably sat on the couch with a cup of coffee and shopped Zillow.
  23. Defenses (the good ones) have caught up to Allen, and Mahommes, and Burrows. They have to work harder and earn the big plays. Against lesser defenses Josh will probably find the big plays like days of old but the better defenses he's going to have to take the underneath stuff and run the ball until they change out of shells and deep zones. If he can't prove he's capable of hitting 5 yard crossers and chekcking it down for 5 or 6 he will continue to see less explosive plays and more turnovers. Those "efficient throws" were there under Dorsey's system and Dorsey wasn't fired because there wasn't plays. He was fired because 10 games into the season he still couldn't get Josh to take them. Brady will have the same problem. Either we learn to run the ball or take the easy throws until defenses come down and play them or we throw into coverage and turn the ball over. This is the NFL and you either adapt or you become irrelevant.
  24. I don't ............. I'm patronizing you but you can pretend I'm not if it makes you feel better.
  25. The Bills will do whatever it takes to lose a game. I can't think of anything we didn't try.
