Seahawks release Tyrel Dodson - UPDATE claimed by Dolphins
Maine-iac replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I know when we played Seattle Dodson was getting worked. Several big plays were him not being in his lane. Maybe he just didn't get Seattle's scheme. It took him some time here maybe he just didn't get it there. Either way if he can come back and play here like he did before he left he'd be a nice addition. -

When I flew in for a game I used rally bus to get picked up downtown and get back to downtown. They let you store tailgating stuff under the bus and you don't have to pay for parking. https://rally.co/bills-49ers -

The idea that no one gets separation is wrong. Shakir was leading the league before this last game (I haven't looked it up again). It's not uncommon at all for outside WR's to not have huge separtion stats and there are a number of great WR's who don't have big separation numbers. Meanwhile TE's and slot WR's dominate this stat. Shakir and Kincaid both have great separation numbers and Cooper (who is a great WR) has a separation number on par with Mack Hollins if that illustrates how much this number matters. -
No kidding how are we ever going to win a game playing like this ..............

Just my take but Elam has caught up with the coverages. That's why he's on the field whenver we have an injury to Benford or Douglas. What he has been shaky in from time to time is run support or tackling. I think that too will come to him with work. He does have a knack for getting the ball from the other team and he certainly has all the physical tools. People want to label him good or bad because he's not a starter but was a 1st round pick but honestly I'd currently label him a good problem to have. We certainly ran a lot more man coverage today than I feel like I've seen before. The all22 will be interesting.

Can you count on a kicker to make big kicks when he can't even make PAT's? -

How about we keep track of the RB's a little better, running or recieving. -

I don't see it. We should be winning 17 to 10 right now. Two TD's off the board with refs or player mistakes. Definitely not on McD. -

How come the Texans don't just run the ball every play? Mixon is killing them -

They paid Beasley 4yrs 29 million in 2019. What do you think that translates to today? -
Calling it now: You're all about to witness the arrival of Shakir
Maine-iac replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
No he's not playing the WR position like Diggs or Coleman or Cooper but I think your wrong about Kincaid. He is running those routes just like Beasley did here or many other slot WR's on many other teams. Yes this year his catches have come mostly around the line of scrimmage but he already had proven he can catch last year when he averaged almost 16 yards per catch. He certainly wasn't catching everything at the line of scrimmage last year. He has become a very productive slot WR and should be considered with the likes of Flowers or Reed who are good WR's. -
This is also why it's less important that Coleman isn't a big separation guy. He'll win in other ways. Cooper isn't really winning with separation either his score is about the same as Hollins. So the teams separation score probably will not get better with Cooper and it really doesn't matter because Cooper will also win in other ways.

Shakir 4.3 ................. Cooper 2.7 Not that we didn't need another man beater outside with some legit experience but Shakir is our best separation guy by a mile. If we were going by this stat alone Cooper is essentially tied with Mack Hollins in average separation. Again it's not a meaningful stat.
