  1. I like that Zeek Biggers kid. Not sure he offers much at all for pass rush but he's supposed to be unmovable and for his size he's done alright at the combine. Projected 6th or 7th round.
  2. For what it's worth I like that list. Grant, Amos, and Collins would be my favorites. Green is pretty interesting also.
  3. https://youtu.be/_r-9tKdT9pw?si=wdZDnkrXQTfie4s_&t=952
  4. Mike Williams on a one year prove it deal. Probably under 5m to sign him. Don't think we need 4 RB's but would love to have AJ Dillon to fall forward in some short yardage situations to maybe have some options to the tush push. Blackmon at safety would fit like a glove. Some CB chops in his past.
  5. I definitely remember that thread. I also forgot how much some people loved Hyatt coming out.
  6. Was it Blount that returned a kickoff on us?
  7. Would love to get Watts in the second or Mukuba in the third to play beside Bishop. Some actual coverage safeties.
  8. I find the DB piece interesting. I wonder if this is specific to ESPN people because there are a number of DB's I wouldn't mind seeing in a Bills uniform. I can think of 4 safeties alone. Granted a 2nd round grade might be generous but it wouldn't surprise me if they were all picked in the first 2 rounds.
  9. No doubt we went from averaging over 30 points per game to averaging over 30 points per game.
  10. He had four drops on the whole season. I guess that qualifies as "numerous". People have been claiming victories in the Coleman is great or he isn't debate all year. Did anyone read his scouting report at all? He's pretty much as advertised and you can either look at what he did well and say hopefully we'll see more of that or you can look at what he didn't and say that's what we've got. He did plenty of things well and that's what I'm going to hope for more of.
  11. Coleman had more yards and TD's in his first 8 games than Diggs had in his last 8 games. I saw enough from Coleman to think there's plenty there to work with. No he didn't look great post injury but he looked pretty good before the injury and I'd sign up for 17 games of that in season 2.
  12. Amos, Alexander, or Porter ......... yes please. I'd also show some late round love for Walley or Hancock if they were available.
  13. Looking for a fingers crossed imoji ......... I want to see coverage sacks become a thing again.
  14. This all makes complete sense. My fear would be he ends up on the field in a position like Elam was in. We're trying to play more man these days and our safeties don't have the range or instincts to help. By the end of the season I was convinced our pass rush might only be mediocre but our coverage was garbage and the bigger problem. Add Dane to a good secondary as depth you are probably all right. Add him to Hamlin, Rapp, Elam, and Lewis and I'm worried. I'm hoping they do a decent amount of reworking the secondary.
  15. 2021 we had a top defense. Allen was playing lights out in the playoffs. 13 seconds should have NEVER happened. Honorable mentions would be the 88 team that lost to the Bengals. The offense hadn't arrived like it did after Lofton showed up but most of the major players were there and the defense was one of the best. Not crapping on this years team. The offense really came together and was pretty special but the defense was hanging on for dear life most of the year.
  16. I mean I wouldn't blame them for kicking the tires. If they think they've got 2022 Dane might be worth it but 2023 and 2024 Dane has been picked on a lot. I could be wrong but I'd guess that a younger Hyde and Poyer covered up a lot of the warts and he'd be pretty exposed in our current secondary.
  17. If you claiming that you won does it for you by all means take your victory lap. When you're shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic no one cares if one is a couple dollars more than the other. It proves nothing.
  18. There are better answers out there hopefully we go with one of them. I'd love to not even think about it because we already added a pass rusher makes you believe things might be different this season. If we march into the season with the same group it would be a little maddening.
  19. If you think he's getting that much money I can certainly see why you wouldn't even consider it. I'm no expert but I doubt he's getting that much or that long unless there's some sort of 1 year out where he can be cut without dead cap. Either way I'm not in love with the guy. I also knew there would be a debate over what you might get out of him and at what cost. It will be interesting to see how it plays out he'll probably end up with the 49's or Detroit anyway.
  20. I'm all for it. Think he'd sign for under 15 million?
  21. Numbers can look different depending on how you present them. Epenesa has played half a season more games than Bosa the last two years and barely has more sacks. Tell me Bosa misses too much time and I'll say I get it. Tell me he's washed and has nothing left I'm not so sure. Not saying I'm right but if we don't draft someone or make a real move I wouldn't be upset if down the road in free agency we bring in Bosa on a one year deal (like we did Floyd) and see what he has left.
  22. Starks and Emmanwori were both gone in the first and Barron and Watts were gone by pick 40 when I ran the simulator. I like Mukuba but was suprised how fast safeties were coming off the board.
  23. Wanted a RB in the middle rounds but he got taken so I ended up with this.
  24. How many has a Buffalo player had since McDermott came here? I can think of one and he was a one year rental. That said there's no question he's missed a lot of time. Seems to be the biggest concern most people have.
  25. Show me where on the field salary makes Jackson a better player. Elam makes more than either of them so by your standard he must be pretty good.
