    Video is linked. Gives you two angles. The one from the backfield is pretty good. He was in the snow for 95 percent of the run. Got to the sideline for a second or two at the end. Totally unofficial but watching the run I'd have to bet he was still running in the snow when he reached top speed.

    Exactly, reaching that speed in the snow seems pretty amazing to me. Beiing on a list with Nico Collins and KaVonte Turpin also seems pretty impressive. He reminds me of Spiller when Gailey was using him correctly.

    Late to the game with this but caught it looking through some next gen stats stuff. Cook had the fastest carry of the week and is 7th overall for the season. I knew he was fast but it's still pretty impressive especially in the snow. https://www.nfl.com/videos/next-gen-stats-top-5-fastest-ball-carriers-from-week-13 Ty Johnson placed top 5 last week against the Rams.

    Remember also Schwartz had Mario Williams, Kyle Williams, Dareous, and Jerry Hughes as his front 4.

    Stafford hasn't even really been hit yet. They're doing it with coverage.

    Rams WR's are not getting free releases. There's a guy attached to them from the LOS scrimmage man or zone. Making them slower in their take off and in their breaks. Letting them run completely free is just asking for trouble.

    That's what she said .................... I was afraid of that. I wasn't keeping track. I know we blitzed Bernard to stop the run and Johnson but I didn't see them on passing downs but that's probably just a sign of them not getting there.

    I mean he is the one getting paid 50 million a year not me. The answer is absolutely yes. It's just one play over the course of a whole game but on that play if you're asking if he should have hit Hollins and didn't the answer is yes.

    But Stafford is not Lamar Jackson and yet we let him stand back there with little to no pressure. I'm not saying it wouldn't have hurt coverage to send a blitzer but at some point I'm thinking we should have tried something.

    In the game I watched it was a ball 5 yards short of where it should have been and he was in an absolutely clean pocket surveying the field.

    Remember last year when it looked like we wouldn't even make the playoffs, we clinched our division last week! Wouldn't even know it.

    and we'd never have any blocked punts ! 😀

    Do we have to technically blame this on Brady because even though McD was dumb enough to call a time out when we needed all 3 if someone hadn't called a run on first and goal he wouldn't have called the time out.

    While you are absolutely right if we are playing "what ifs" tell me what if Allen hits Hollins on the deep TD instead of throwing it short and we score instead of getting a blocked punt? Not Allen's fault we got a punt blocked but if our stat line had one more Allen TD pass and one less punt blocked I bet we win that game.

    I love me some Milano but I feel myself missing Dorian a little bit.

    Our defense was awful but at the end of the day we lost more because of our own mistakes. The Rams hung 44 points on us and it still isn't a reach to say that we could have won this game if we had not made a couple of mistakes.

    You mean more than than the first pick in the last two drafts and 4 of the first 6 picks in the last 3 drafts? Moreover 2 out of the first 5 picks this year and 1 out of the first five last year were on defense. The idea we spend more on defense than offense especially lately is not true.

    My opinion but I'd say more specifically our DT's are making zero plays. The ends have to worry about rb's inside and jet sweeps outside plus try to get to the QB. Our DT's seem incapable of beating the guy in front of them and dropping a rb or getting to the QB. I said it before we got over 15 sacks from our DT's last year this year we have 4 so far.

    Allen nearly pulled off a "win in spite of" victory.

    Yes to all of this and while we are at it could we get some pressure on the QB. Some how some way get someone in the QB's face fast like a safety of the edge. Guys like Stafford with Kupp and Nacua are going to play pitch and catch with our rush 4 and play zone coverage no matter how tricky we think we are.

    This will go over like a fart in church but I just realized the drive with the blocked punt was the drive Josh missed Hollins on the deep ball. Allen hits Hollins it's 14 to 10 good guys and the blocked punt never happens. Just sayin ..........
