  1. Oh please! Do you really want to go there? Panthers and Vikings were caught on live TV tampering with their footballs. No penalty. Science and evidence proved NE didn't tamper and they lost 2 picks and Brady for 4 games. That's playing favorites? 32 teams taped from the wrong location. NFL ignores 31 violations. NE loses picks and $500K. That's playing favorites? How about we just shake hands and move on from this one? For every made up, fabricated, mythical instance of NE cheating you bring up, I can show you how it's false and give you examples of how Goodell favors Denver, Indy, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and the 2 New Jersey teams. It's only a matter of time before Goodall screws over the Bills.
  2. I hate chowder... I'll take the Sam Adams beer though!
  3. This never ends well...especially for the guy who talks.
  4. NE rarely loses these trap games, unlike the Steelers or Andy Reid's teams. NE has been giving up almost 5 yards/carry and they give up a lot of yards. The defense is stingy with points though. 20 points/game. That includes the debacles against KC, CAR, and Houston. Games 5-11 they are near the top in scoring defense and that's the defensive stat that matters. That also means that NE has to put together a lot of long drives to score. A bad bounce here, a drop there, a bad call, and who knows? This could be a game.
  5. I hear you. It was meant to be a throwaway comment to another fan. That's all. I understand that fans from other teams (especially NE) are held to a different standard here. Best to just stick to facts...
  6. I was in high school when NE played the Bears in the SB... : ) All those seasons on no hope.
  7. OK, ok... I could have left out the last 2 sentences.
  8. 3 more. 2004, 2014, and 2016. I know, they are getting hard to keep track of. Imagine after they win this year too!
  9. Believe me buddy, with your cuckoo beliefs, I ain't buying anything you're selling! Much like that bridge, they're only alive in your mind. You probably think Brady conducts voodoo rituals to curse his opponents too... SMH...
  10. I don't think kale and avocados are banned...
  11. I think he probably forgot all about it after game sixteen. 31-0 Pats over Bills. The SB win helped too. Although, even as a Patriots fan, the Sam Adams (irony right?) INT for a TD was pretty funny. High stepping it into the end zone!
  12. 12 is Brady's number and he throws 3 TDs. I don't know what will happen after the 1st quarter though...
  13. College systems don't last long in the NFL...
  14. I explained that to this guy and he didn't mention it again. He's still hung up on Deflategate though...Evidence be damned!
  15. Sorry, but you're wrong again. In 2015, the year after the Deflategate nonsense and extra scrutiny... per Sports Illustrated... The Patriots had the fewest fumbles of any NFL offense. The Patriots had the best fumble rate of any NFL offense. As the roster turned over, fumbles went up. 2016 they were 27th. So far this year they are 13th. This proves it was the players, not the PSI.If it were the balls we would have seen an immediate spike. Besides, the amount of PSI missing was impossible to detect according to the refs. I'm not sure we talked about this earlier, but the Colts' footballs were also illegally low. Same game, same conditions.
  16. The hack who claimed the Pats videotaped the Rams walk throughs had to apologize for making it up. His newspaper even printed a front page apology! The team wasn't fined for that. They were fined for having a single camera out of position for the 1st half of a Jets game. That was Spygate. Jay Glazer has a copy of the tape and has shown it at a party. Didn't show anything. Videotaping has NEVER been against the rules. The camera was out of position. Deflated footballs? Do you sit around the table of the Flat Earth Society with Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, and the Blair Witch to see who has the most outlandish theories? Deflategate has been debunked. Please! I thought Bills' fans were in tune with the NFL. Believe in the Tooth Fairy too! Ha ha!
  17. The Bills have had no answer because of poor coaching, lack of preparation, and a subpar QB. They might have one of the 3 from time to time, but that's not enough to overcome not having the other 2. Just look at the Steelers. They can't beat NE because of poor coaching and lack of prep. The Ravens have had success due to good coaching and good prep. Gotta have 2 of the 3.
  18. The fact that I'm a Patriots' fan was never a secret. There's a reason why ex Patriots extoll the organization. You don't mind those other teams you mentioned because they don't play the Bills twice each year. The perception among non Patriots fans about Brady and BB is understandable because you only see what B$PN and other outlets only let you see what they want you to see. They don't hear all the interviews with BB and the players. Truth be told, they're boring because they do things close to the vest. All business, no trash talk, no disrespect toward other players and teams, no buffoonery off the field, no dirty plays.. If you call those evidence of "awful" personalities, I'm betting that most others here would take boring and winning over a losing circus atmosphere. You can believe all the silliness about NE getting all the calls and getting away with things, and Brady not being able to get touched. Teams regularly tee off on his head and knock him to the ground after the whistle. Since 2009, Brady ranks 24 in the league for roughing the passer calls per attempts. That means he has to drop back a lot of times to get a call. That only shows that you really haven't bee paying attention since Goodell arrived. Goodell has gone out of his way to punish NE for imaginary and minor offenses. That's for another thread though.
  19. Why do you think coaches make these tremendous gaffes? They're not competent coaches or are intimidated. Andy Reid can't manage the clock. Trip Tomlin can't adjust. McCarthy makes dumb decisions. Carroll lets the inmates run the prison. Harbaugh doesn't know the rulebook. The list goes on and on. Rarely do the Pats get outright beaten. KC this year and 2014, the Bills last year, the Ravens and Jets in the playoffs a few years ago, for example. The Dolphins shut the Pats out a few years back too. They win 12-14 games each year because of coaching, culture, and QB. It usually takes several poor/non-calls to beat NE. We'll complain about the clear Miami fumble that wasn't because that's what all fans do. Playing the virtuous martyr because your team underachieves is fine. No one has issues with that. However, fans of all teams do what you seem to think ONLY Pats fans do. Get an NFL QB and the Bills could make the playoffs too. Flutie should have finished that season. Most Pats fans I know rooted for the Bills during those 4 SBs. Myself included.
  20. You are obviously a Patriots hater, blinded by your jealousy and disgust to all things Brady and Belichick to view anything but condemnation with a prejudiced eye. The only reason Seattle was in position at the goal line was due to yet another miracle catch by the Seahawks. Look up the stats for Lynch that season on goal to go from the one. 1 TD in 5 attempts. It's also widely documented that Butler immediately recognized the play that led to the INT. After the INT, Seattle's D had a meltdown of stupid penalties due to poor coaching and lack of discipline and accountability. Seattle's D is still suffering from that lack of personal and team accountability. Atlanta's poor coaching, due to intimidation, led to those boneheaded decisions. Had the Falcons been playing ANY other team, they still would have won the game. We can go on and on about the Tuck Rule. Yes, it was a dumb rule, but a rule (called correctly) nonetheless. It wasn't eliminated for several years afterwards BTW. NE gets screwed by the refs just as much as every other team. They get called for fewer penalties because....... yup, they are better coached. Gronk is mauled on every play, but it's never called. Brady gets pummeled after the whistle game after game and people wonder why he complains. GB has Rodgers, but poor coaching holds his team back. Trip Tomlin has been holding the Steelers back for years. Great coaching has allowed Eli to win 2 rings. The list goes on. I also never read the Pats board. I'm not even a member. There's never anything there that I don't already know.
  21. Look, I understand that blind jealousy of NE's success coupled with Buffalo's futility have made many people lose their objectivity and perspective in matters pertaining to the NFL. There is little objectivity regarding Brady and BB. People either love them or hate them based on their level of jealousy. Pittsburgh in the 70s, SF in the 80s, Dallas in the 90s for example. Nearly every media outlet continuously bashes the Brady, BB, and the entire Patriots' organization. Including much of the local media! Every time NE loses a game there's the inevitable "Brady's finished!" cries and BB is asked about benching him. All moronic. Without Bledsoe getting hurt, Brady might have never seen the field. BB takes players of other teams' scrap heaps and wins SBs with them. Offensive players, defensive players, and special teamers. These players were nothing before they got to NE and did nothing after they left. Look at the stupid coaching decisions each and every week. Poor play calling. Ridiculous clock mis-management. Lack of disciplined players. Remember the Rex years in Buffalo? No self-control or situational awareness. 2014 SB vs Seattle. Coaching allowed the Patriots to sub in Butler, who immediately recognized that Lynch wasn't going to get the football. How did he know? BB had the Pats prepare for that exact play in this exact situation. SB against the Falcons. Settling for a FG while being pummeled instead of going for it on fourth down. Most coaches panic there and the game would have been over. As far as losing those SBs. It took 2 miracle plays, a missed "in the grasp" call, injuries, a dropped pass to Welker, and a never before seen intentional grounding call for NE to lose.
  22. Hasn't every HOF coach had a great QB? Or been surrounded by HOF players? It also isn't a stretch to claim that BB made Brady as much as Brady made BB. Marv Levy was 31-42 in KC. Kelly (and several HOFers) comes along and suddenly Levy is a great coach. Look at Landry, Noll, Johnson, Parcells, Lombardi, or any other great coach. You don't think that BB couldn't bring the current collection of Bills' players to the playoffs? I'll bet he could.
  23. He was also coach of the old Cleveland Browns. He also took them to the playoffs. Once he got to NE and got to make all the decisions... we know how that story ends. He is also 14-8 w/o Brady as NE's coach. 63.6 winning %. 0-2 before Bledsoe was hurt, 11-5 when Brady was injured, and 3-1 at the beginning of last season. I don't think I missed any...
  24. I don't think McDermott would get called "racist" by any intelligent person. Just knucklehead race baiters like those over at B$PN. Belichick wants his players to be methodical and business like. This means doing things HIS way, or rather, "The Patriot Way." It means you stay out of trouble on and off the field. (Brandon Spikes lied about the details of his car accident after leaving Buffalo for NE and was cut). You "do your job" on the field. (Fumble the ball and you'll be benched). Don't be a distraction and don't allow distractions. (The made up Deflategate scandal and Brady's suspension? They didn't miss a beat). BB just wants players to act like they've been in the end zone before. When the NFL world sees the immense success of the Patriots, it's difficult to argue with BB's rules. Of course, he has the cache to back it up.
  25. Pats are the victims of horrible calls just like every other team. They had fumble return for a TD nullified by a bad call. The Dolphins teed off on Brady's head all day with out a flag. Suh grabbed Lewis' facemark and almost twisted his head right off. All this right in front of the refs. NE is a very disciplined team that simply doesn't commit the boneheaded penalties most teams do. However, if you saw them at the beginning of the season, they looked like the Raiders with dumb penalties. They're just smarter and better coached that other teams.
