  1. Thanks for the response! That's a shame. On a very basic level it maybe could prevent the trolls. Good to know though- I'd always wondered. Appreciate it!
  2. Question.. do sad and confused 'actions' cause negative rep points? Not that it means anything but it seems odd that if someone says something REALLY dumb and it gets 5 confused actions it looks like a positive in the end.
  3. The 1st thing that comes to mind is that past regimes have failed bc they may have tried a stunt like that. Maybe its selling them short but the point is I'd guess these guys realize the flip side to your points is it would be a distraction and isnt in the same vein as the other moves they have made to try and mold and build a culture around here. Just my 7 cents.
  4. So, isnt it nice then to be the team for once admitting that the status quo isnt good enough and letting someone else try the retread route w the leftovers? Off topic, THIS is imo the BIGGEST difference (outside of style and $$) between TT and AJ. Known vs unknown
  5. If my worst case comes true and the Bills take Jackson I'll come around as I'd hope Allen hates would as well. In the end though, it's all just words and numbers. The article explaining his offense and its anti screen or short easy pass propensity combined with 1 more completed pass a game puts him at over 60% completed is a good example of #s and talk can be twisted any way you want to argue it. In the end, all we can do is wait and see bc we just dont know. Our druthers get in the way in the mean time. We shall see!!
  6. Well, right! But as u know, this was in regard to OPs question. How much of a different place is debatable but I guess my point is there is SSOO much more that goes into it than the surface lodgic that was expressed when the original question was posed. I suppose how TT stacks up to AJ and the $$ needs to be taken into account as well but in the end neither is a fqb so what are we really doing here..
  7. This makes wwwaaayyy too much sense so I gotta spin your question around. Why then.. did the Bill's trade Tyrod? BAM!! ??
  8. You have single handedly inspired me to hope Rosen is traded up for at 2. Fingers crossed
  9. Speaking of weak sauce.... When I agreed with a take and suggested it be the end of the thread - it's not a LITTERAL end of the thread. In the same way no one LITTERALLY peed in your limeaid. You just dont seem to get it and act like someone did anyway....
  10. Takes one to know one??? OooooooouuuuuooooO
  11. Hey... I didnt say that!!!!! Haha Ya never know, maybe we get a hint... or a smoke hint!! At the very least I still wanna know wtf everyone is talking about when its discussed lol
  12. Yay!!! I cant wait until monday when they clear all this smoke and tell us exactly what they are going to do!!!
  13. You would lol. As far as OPs thought, if the world is burning just bust out the fire starter and have at it huh?
  14. There are so many issues with this I dont even know where to start... so I wont get specific, but just as a generality of you live you life like this with 'assumed absolutes' you are really missing out. Judging a book by its cover is one thing, and then doubling down and living life by these assumptions is sad. Once in a while you might be right, but as a whole I encourage you to open up a bit to possibilities. There is sssooo much out there it's a shame to still see this type of thinking.
  15. We can do better. TV #s OPM the sleeves would help;)
  16. It may be ticky tacky but I'm not sure Jackson has the most upside. Isnt that literally the allure of Allen?
  17. 1. Sam Darnold - bills 2. Josh Rosen - jets 3. Josh Allen - browns 4. Baker Mayfield - dolphins 5. Lamar Jackson - chargers Bonus: Bills Pick - Bills Rosen
  18. The giants message board is kind of amusing. Although they might be a little behind in saying they know the Bill's want Allen, they seem to think trading a bounty for Allen would be dumb and they are all over it. I'm indifferent on Allen but they seem to love Darnold (and rightfully so) and seem to bite hook line and sinker the gmen take him at 2 if he is there. They very well may of course but there's smoke everywhere so who even k owes who loves who.
  19. Huh... well maybe. Maybe not. It would be really interesting to know but I'd imagine we never do..
  20. I totally get this line of thinking and dont disagree... but I also think there is a flip side with a lot of coin at stake. Obv this isnt as clear cut as luck, but I dont remember if the colts said weeks before they were going w luck or if he worked out for other teams. Darnold does not = luck, but might be the closest thing to this years version. I wonder if say Miami asks for a work out... what is his response?
  21. Virgil McBeane is the name, and I served on the Buf Bills train 'Till Pegula's cavalry came and tore up the roster again In the winter of 2018, we were hungry, just hardly could wait. By April the 26th, Dallas had fell, it's a time I remember, oh so well The night they brought ol Darnold down, and the bells were ringing The night they brought old Darnold down, and the people were singin' they went Na na na na na na na na, na na na na hey ho let's go buffalo...
  22. $$$$ hinders the colts..not drafting the qb. Geez This shld pretty much end the thread. Why this is so difficult, I'll never know.... but man...
  23. There will always be a few crazies. I dont think that'd be indicative of the fan base as a whole
  24. Do you not? Seriously, though... there are some straight up nut balls on here, but that isnt indicative of the fan base as a whole - nor should it be. The internet is a weird place. For some people, THIS is essentially their social interaction. We remember the crazy posts because they are off the wall and some even poorly informed BUT message boards attract that. They also attract some excellent conversation and debates. I dog the folks who dont want to trade up, or even worse trade back - but at the very least I respect them in the sense MOST of them have reasoning for feeling or thinking that way EVEN if it's only sound and sensible to them and are able to convey it in a way that can be considered sensible. If you are out and about and engage in conversation of course you will find some stinkers... but for the most part I find Buffalo sports fans to be very passionate and from that comes intelligent conversation. Disagreements dont have to be solved, and disagreements dont always equal stupidity... just differing POV. So yes, as a whole I'd argue Buffalo sports fans are mostly passionate and well informed. Trading up or standing pat is small picture stuff in the big picture anyway. Right now its front and center, but just because a few idiots on here tend to be persistent isnt the full picture. There aren't a ton of sports cities that have all day sports programming on the radio for example. That isnt the case of no one pays attention and no one cares. There is a market for it, and it isnt because everyone is dumb and needs to be informed.... This board is sssssooooooo much better and sssooo much more utilized and traveled than most of the opponents teams sites. By and large it's because people as fans care, want to be involved, and maybe they even learn something. Naturally there will be something positive to come from it. Again, the stupid posts stick out but even those eventually turn into a decent thought provoking conversation or at least get pretty funny before they die their natural death. That isnt the case in other places and it's just kinda sad. Like when the Bills traded Dareus. Jags fans seriously were posting and agreeing with statements like ' who cares if he is expensive, it's only the salary cap'. Seriously? Even if someone said that here, there wouldn't be pages of people agreeing with it...
