I think the whites are just easier to match color wise. Much less blue makes the color pop less. A blue throwback would look odd in this itteration. It would however make for a nice 90s version fwiw

This is all determined way in advance bc teams could only wear them 2x. There was an adjustment to the rule last yr to 3 i think OR 2x and ALT... if that makes sense. It was implemented as a way to appease the teams who hated their color rush. Reg home and away can prob be adjusted the week of, but specialty ones are declared at the get. That also allows for these throwback matchups

For some prospective, its interesting to take a stroll over to THE GANG GREEN and read what they think. Majority still think Sammy D is the next Namath, while Allen is poo. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle with both as both fan bases are high on their guy and dont want to be wrong or the suckers taking the bust. Bottom line is most fans view will change x amount more times over the course of the season and then get sky high expectations going into camp mext year. I totally get it - but it still doesnt change the fact its a bunch of people talking like they know the facts when not a single person knows the truth or can see the future. Its fun to talk, but also kinda silly to speak in absolutes IMO

Hmmmmm Either people arent being truthful, or they are very easily swayed. This would be a VERY lopsided poll in the other direction last july. I guess it fits with the league being a 'what have you done for me lately ' type situation. I like Allen. I like his moxy. I also remember scaring the crap out of my dogs by yelling so loud after the allen pick that they didnt come back into that room for a good hour after the fact - both that they didnt get to #2 and they picked the wrong josh. My wife was a bit more positive however. As i said then, he is now our guy and itll be fun to root for him.... but if i felt that way then im not sure 7 starts should do much either way...
