  1. Agreed, IMO their downfall one way or another for better or worse is thinking their view has already happened and thus fact. Its tough bc when they have a pundit on - its an expert. They know their stuff by means of study (film or stats) and S&B think they are experts as well due to their profession but they dont put THAT style of work into it.... which is why they speak based off of their OPINION which is pretty meh. I also HATE HATE HATE the FF talk. No one cares about YOUR team. This goes for all of them. How does one say dont talk about ur SB squares bc no one cares and then turn around and spend 15 min talking about his FF team?!?! I hardly care about my team enough to talk abt it for 10 min let alone want to talk to thousands of people about it and think they care. SO dumb..
  2. Mostly agreed, but it is fun to root against him for the inevitable falter - i just thought those days were done.
  3. I dont disagree, and its totally a crusade - either preaching to the choir OR old man get off my lawn (where offenders point out its a message board) but THIS place wasnt like that as recent at 2 yrs ago. Now 2 out of every 3 threads should be added as convo to existing threads but the OP didnt read, was too lazy, or thought their idea was special enough where its littered with posts like this. Its possible still as many opponents (good reading before upcoming games) are still able have a place woth this much traffic that isnt all clutter... but it is what it is and as i choose this as my discussion/news source i know it means dealing with it. Doesnt mean i have to like it though:)
  4. When did it become cool to just start new threads with whatever rando thought pops in someones head? Maybe it didnt, but a few people just think it is.
  5. Good grief Hard to believe this is the same twb sw
  6. Litterally the topic of this thread and covered on pg 1-2
  7. Eh, not a fan of the metal taste - and not to take this another direction (and i might have misunderstood what you meant) but cbd isnt edibles, dabs/wax, vapor. Those essentially do away with anything thats not getting straight to the point that said, by all means to each their own ya like what ya like. Those things just make sticky icky dank a thing of the past. Cole Beasley knows this too im sure lol
  8. One hitters?! Man... we gotta get you in the 21st century my man! Eddys, dabs, and vape! THEN you have no waste!
  9. Once again, simply deflecting. Instead of actually discussing the issue you have created - you respond w something thats totally irrelevant and didnt even happen on this board... Get ready for another film breakdown, a walk back. And then some other rando recivers name instead of discussing crabtree
  10. And a modern one at that. Less a 'copy' of the Pats and more 'keeping up w the Joness'. Man i wish i had that kind of time
  11. Bolded is your problem/issue. You idea of 'ideal' differs from McBeane. That is why ive already said you are better off accepting it, or finding another rooting interest bc its no fun complaining about 'your' team - is it? Again, it is what it is. He has control of the roster of an NFL team and you dont. Id venture to guess there is a reason behind that
  12. Sssoooo.... your just going to throw up a bunch of stats to try and prove how much you know, then back track, then say you arent even going to discuss it? None of which actually is a response to the higher overarching point that throwing $$ at names is a crummy solution that is one if not the main root of this franchises issues since 1996 of FA as we know it came to exist.... all i can say is im glad (for better or worse) we have someone willing to formulate a plan and stick to it and your line of thinking is a way of the past. Again, signings were savvy, well executed, and on point. Like it or not, there is a reason the Bills chose NOT to offer what the Browns did. Sure they could have beat it or offered similar, but for what? If it was part of the plan it would have happened. Its not, so it didnt. If you dont like this line of thinking you will be in for a rough few years. Apparently lodgic is lost when star struck by 'names'
  13. Ya, but he prob has never head of any of them sssooooooo.... we get treated to this??
  14. My dear boy, i think you seem to have greatly missed the boat on how things seem to be done around here - the plan that appears to be in place- and the overall picture as to how this team is being shaped under the current regime. If its big names you want, maybe OAK needs another 'fan' bc until the winning starts, you will be gravely dissapointed. These signings are appropriate and on point. Do you know something our GM and most NFL pundits dont? Its been proven time and time again that names dont = wins. This team spent 2 years digging themselves out of a hole that a GM who was worried about his job and just threw $ at names made...and YOU are calling other people insane?!? yikes
  15. You can post these man! No need to back door it like ur ashamed!
  16. I say anyone who has paid attention, even in the least, remembers. Wlda made for a nice comment in ANY of the WR threads and you would have gotten the same responses. But hey, if its attention you want - well there ya go
  17. 'Jesus H, Beane' were your exact words... And again...some dude throwing it out there seems like a silly reason to get on someone we have no idea what he has or hasnt done. Be annoyed at the piece - not the gm
  18. Lol.. 8 pages on nothing sustained, just a dudes 'predictions' and BB catches crap. C'mon
  19. Lol, i wlda guessed posting from a flip phone:)
  20. Man... now i gotta post the rest of it too?!? On March, 2, 2007, Plummer faxed a letter to the NFL office stating his intention to retire. The next day, the Broncos traded his contractual rights to the Bucs in exchange for a fourth-round selection in the 2008 draft if he played, or a seventh-rounder if he didn’t. Plummer indeed retired, and the Broncos used the seventh-round draft choice they acquired from Tampa Bay to select fullback Peyton Hillis. The Bucs, in return, are expected to get $3.5 million of Plummer’s signing bonus for a seventh-round pick Conditions conditions conditions... i guess i just kinda thought it was assumed as it was mentioned and the money stuff w the bonuses is the interesting part.
  21. Man.. sometimes being a genius and knowing how to use google/wikipedia is a curse.... On March 3, 2007, Plummer was traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a 2008 conditional draft pick. However, rumors began to surface that Plummer was going to choose retirement over competition with the Buccaneers' four other quarterbacks on the roster (Bruce Gradkowski, Tim Rattay, Jeff Garcia, and Luke McCown).[14] On March 9, Plummer ended the speculation by announcing his decision to retire.[2]Plummer also confirmed his retirement through the Jake Plummer Foundation's website.[15] Since he was still under contract to the Buccaneers and had already been given his contract signing bonus, Tampa Bay coach Jon Gruden met with Plummer in July to try to convince him to reconsider and report for training camp.[2][16] However, the attempt was unsuccessful and the team sued for recovery of the bonus. A settlement was finally reached on June 10, 2008 in which Plummer was required to pay back $3.5 million to the Buccaneers.[17]
