First offensive pick I've liked

Those players were either injured or on the downswing, not including Diggs. They could've kept him and actually still could add a #1 WR and keep the window open, but I doubt it will happen.

I'm falling into a deep depression with the realizations that (a)No matter how many times we trade down, my thirst for picks will not be quenched, and (b) by the end of the draft we will have ZERO picks. They'll all be transformed into players taking up precious cap space which I have a growing hunger for.

Yep, but not as big of a gamble as you'd think. MHJ, Nabers, or Odunze each would be the top of their WR class in most years so the only reason we have a shot at a #1 is because of the depth. Joe Marino was asked where they'd rank over all WR prospects from the past three years and he said they're the top three. Of course he still doesn't want to trade up because he has the same unquenchable thirst for picks as the rest of you.

Are you implying that the earlier picks are more likely to be good players? Like, just for example, the 28th picks versus the 9th pick?

and the one at 9, that still counts as a pick right? Or is it a player as soon as it's used. Oh man we're gonna have no picks soon

The whole draft? Am I missing something? We end up with 7 picks this year in that scenario.
