  1. I agree, but those other positions aren't as impactful as WR. So if he can trade for one of the available guys he might be able to open the window again
  2. If they can get a veteran WR he might be able to save his job. Not replacing Diggs with a 20yo 2nd round graded WR
  3. Those players were either injured or on the downswing, not including Diggs. They could've kept him and actually still could add a #1 WR and keep the window open, but I doubt it will happen.
  4. They're in a superbowl window without a starter at a premium position
  5. We replaced a lot of what we lost, signed two safeties and a depth DE, except at top end WR
  6. Didn't even cost that much for the Chiefs to move up
  7. Even if you consider Diggs second half as what he will be going forward....they have downgraded significantly
  8. And just like that the Pats coaches are more in tune with modern NFL offense than Bills
  9. Couldn’t have possibly scripted a more nightmare scenario.
  10. Absolute disaster unless we trade for one of the established WRs. Even then, why trade with KC? to only move up from the 4th to 3rd?! You just take a WR and hope it’s the one KC wanted. Not guarantee they get the guy they want. Insane. clearly KC thought their guy could be gone by 32
  11. Does it matter? Texans have our WR 1, Chiefs have the fastest one of all time. But we traded up in the 4th!!!
  12. Delusion causes you to remain stagnant. You’ll settle for less in every aspect in life if you’re not honest with yourself
  13. sorry let me rephrase that and get ready to post later: “[guy Bills pick] is clearly an upgrade over Diggs and instantly top 10 in league, while Reid and Mahomes will be clueless how to use [guy KC picks] and he will probably bust”
  14. Those of you not upset we didn’t trade up or trade for a #1 yet. Chiefs are going to also get a WR tonight. We aren’t gonna pass them
  15. Need to trade for a #1WR. depending on a rookie past those top 3 in a Super Bowl window is malpractice
  16. meant end of draft, fixed👍
  17. I'm falling into a deep depression with the realizations that (a)No matter how many times we trade down, my thirst for picks will not be quenched, and (b) by the end of the draft we will have ZERO picks. They'll all be transformed into players taking up precious cap space which I have a growing hunger for.
  18. Yep, but not as big of a gamble as you'd think. MHJ, Nabers, or Odunze each would be the top of their WR class in most years so the only reason we have a shot at a #1 is because of the depth. Joe Marino was asked where they'd rank over all WR prospects from the past three years and he said they're the top three. Of course he still doesn't want to trade up because he has the same unquenchable thirst for picks as the rest of you.
  19. Are you implying that the earlier picks are more likely to be good players? Like, just for example, the 28th picks versus the 9th pick?
  20. and the one at 9, that still counts as a pick right? Or is it a player as soon as it's used. Oh man we're gonna have no picks soon
  21. The whole draft? Am I missing something? We end up with 7 picks this year in that scenario.
