Ok I’ll confess I wanted Clausen. But mostly just because I wanted a QB to be drafted. The Patriots have drafted more QBs since they’ve had Brady than the Bills.

Hes as good as gone because he’s old regime, which made bad decisions. This regime doesn’t make bad decisions. Zay Jones. -

A Bone-Chilling Draft Review

Oh sorry I thought you might care about the drop rate, probably because of this sentence. My bad, never mind then. I'm just saying it's not very logical to point out Allen's receivers' drops, but ignore the other QBs receivers' drops. But if all you're saying is he will or can be good in the NFL then I'm on board. -

...and I wish we drafted one that most people weren't afraid to "throw into the fire" Sure, every rookie is going to have growing pains. I just see a lot of excuses being made for Allen before even one snap. So where was he ranked in drop rate? -

Allen didn't have a high drop rate compared to other top QBs in this draft -
The Bills did not "luck" into the playoffs
Rock-A-Bye Beasley replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't have time to read all the replies but yeah it was "lucky" that they made the playoffs in many ways. Unless you want to argue semantics of what luck actually means, but that doesn't sound like fun. Haha we only lost by 7 points in the playoffs! Why don't you say we managed only a field goal? What a loser mentality you have. This team was not fun to watch and not very good, they got "lucky" by the AFC having a bad record against the NFC, the Texans' slew of injuries, the pass interference agains the colts, von miller penalty, matt ryan fumble, Andy Dalton . -

Dareus Why are you placing random metrics to my argument as if it will invalidate my point if someone hasn't' made two pro bowls? We need a speed receiver still, yet we traded Sammy for a second. We got a 5th for Dareus, but you wouldn't trade Ducasse, DiMarco and Holmes for a 3rd? It's just interesting to me that some people don't have integrity to their logic if it supports what the Bills have done. I -

Why couldn’t we sign someone else? We traded away quite a few “starting” players last year. Most much better than any of these guys. -

Damn, didn't realize he played that well. Would you trade him for a 3rd? -

Holmes Davis and Ducasse are replacement level players Oh wait, never mind I didn't see that it was for a STUPID 3rd round pick. -

Y'all really can't imagine available free agents better than Davis Ducasse and Tolbert? or even comparable? Listen, I don't think the 3rd rounder matters that much, but stop blindly supporting everything the Bills do and realize it's just bad asset management. I read all pre-draft about how important all our precious draft picks are to build a team for the future, but now it's only a 3rd and not worth giving up these terrible players. It's the lack of logic that bothers me. Also, cutting Tolbert alone would have helped the team immensely. -

We could have still squeaked into the playoffs and kicked a field goal without those players by signing replacements who are just as good. -

Could have cut Tolbert, Duckass, and DiMarco or (Davis?). Not sure about the last one, but would have had a 3rd apparently. -
then we can move Benjamin to TE because his overall goes up to 96 in madden.

Best case for me is Rosen falling. Bills trying to trade up but no one will bite and he falls to 12. I know that won’t happen so realistic best case is Rosen at 4-6 -
I don't. I've never had less respect for any position from other Bills fans than not wanting to trade up this year.

Final Mock: 4 RDs w/ trades
Rock-A-Bye Beasley replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I heard something about this after I posted. Then I checked spotrac and yes that's true. If he's traded he's under contract for 3 more seasons at 6.1 million. So that part of my argument is void. However, I would still rather get a rookie. So this mock isn't quite as bad as i originally thought for the Bills. Still think Eagles want to keep Foles for this season at least. They can trade him after the season. -
That would be ideal, but you won't know if he or anyone for that matter will drop until after you pass on trading to #2. Are you willing to take that risk? I was scared of the cost at first then I thought about the Texans. Are they kicking themselves for trading up and giving up what turned into #4 this year? I doubt it.

What is your #1 QB performance metric?
Rock-A-Bye Beasley replied to TheFunPolice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not arguing any of that. I agree, I just laid out a very specific scenario i noticed the Bills in last season where Tyrod and/or the coaching staff were afraid to turn the ball over even when doing so wouldn't have hurt the team's chances any more than punting. another example would be an end of half or game hail mary that's intercepted. If I was looking at a players stats and saw he threw 15 ints but then dug deeper and learned that more than half were end of half hail marys I would be less concerned. -

I understand that, but I'd rather take a chance on the upside of Jackson than get Foles. -

Really? did you miss the trade in his mock where we would be getting Nick Foles? or is it more of a reading comprehension problem? If we trade for Foles we would have to extend his contract next offseason. I believe there's an opt out clause after this year as well. So we would be paying a large portion of our cap as early as next year to a guy whose play has been up and down during his career to say the least.
