  1. Oh ok, that wasn’t in the article I read, so I guess it makes sense more for Seattle since he has played there already.
  2. He signed a one year deal with Seattle. How can that hurt the cap next season? is he going to be sentenced during the season? If not, I don’t see any problem with improving our weak LB Corp. especially for depth purposes. He wouldn’t have signed here anyway, but I see no reason for anyone to be against a 1 year deal.
  3. In the first half against the Ravens we ran a draw on 3rd and 17 but there was a false start. We ran the same play on 3rd and 22 even though the Ravens saw our play. I guess we thought "they'll never suspect we would run a draw after they saw us run a draw!"
  4. This will last a while. You don't purge that much talent and make it up in a year or two.
  5. Touchdowns? you're talking about touchdowns?! At this point in the game we were just getting out first first down.
  6. I agree with everything you've said here. I don't think there's any scenario besides a career ending injury that would make them consider QB with next years first. BUT WHAT IF Allen is as bad as Peterman for 15 straight weeks? I don't think that will happen, I hope Josh will succeed, but in that scenario I think it would be smart to take a QB. Now whether the Bills actually would is another question.
  7. No, my position is we should be negative because they were a bad team, and there is no realistic way to fill all the holes they created and keep up with the rest of the league. It's simple asset management. If any other franchise had the same year as us last year no one would be happy.
  8. It goes beyond being fun to watch. They were incompetent with game management and frustratingly bi-polar on defense. The offense was consistently terrible and predictable. Do you deny any of those assesments?
  9. Were they fun to watch at all? Did you at any point think they had even an outside chance of winning the superbowl? Thy were one of the worst playoff teams ever. and it cost us valuable draft position. And it's spelled Mic as in Microphone
  10. It has been over 20 years without a Bills team that could even think about the Super Bowl. At some point the people who are still positive are the delusional ones.
  11. Then dispute anything I said. You are the one not saying anything. That was the point of this thread. The positive fans are wrong again and again but never own up to it. It also makes me think less of Bills fans when they accept mediocrity for this many years.
  12. I was suggesting we kept him. but I wouldn't expect you to understand that.
  13. Trading Dareus for a conditional 6th is truly unforgiveable. Especially considering how the run defense faired immediately following the trade.
  14. No, I was wrong. I thought they would win less games, but I knew they wouldn't be a super bowl contender which is all I care about. See how to respond without insults?
  15. Sounds good the way you put it, but how do you honestly think they are compared to the 31 other teams? Everyone gets the same amount of picks every year and a lot of teams can rattle off a list similar to yours. Especially if you're using the descriptor "starting" for half of them, because every team has 22 starters every year. This is the rose-colored glasses view I was talking about.
  16. So you give them an unlimited leash? No timeline for deconstructing a team? They traded away multiple YOUNG talented players that could be part of that 22 player core. We are the 2nd oldest team in the league this year. Shouldn't we at least be a relatively young team by now?
  17. I'm seeing a lot of attempts at personal insults from people who disagree with the premise of this thread. I wonder why there aren't more specific attacks on the points I made?
  18. What would it take for you to turn on either of them? I'm seriously asking.
  19. What about McDermott's terrible in-game decisions?
  20. Talking about what? You're the one whose reading comprehension should be called into question. This thread is about how the backlash to the negative posters is illogical. You're just adding to that. The OP only says you are wrong and have been wrong for years.
  21. Hard to say Glenn didn't have a place on this brutal O line. Could have been an injury thing. Dareus may be overpaid I'll give you that even though it's arguable. However, couldn't they have just kept Dareus instead of paying 13.5 mil in dead cap for him and 10 mil to Star? Watkins is now the 4th receiving option on an AFC rival but would still be our best WR. It would be hard to impossible to fire them at this point, but I have very little faith especially in the coach based on his multitude of his in-game decisions which can be proven incorrect with 100% certainty. Not even including starting Peterman twice when you know he's trying to win. EDIT: I just want to add that I have a positive outlook about Josh Allen after not liking the pick. He has shown me some things and I think he might be good.
  22. I saw your post as constructive. I'm not angry, more confused as to how anyone can have a positive outlook on this team and also criticize those who are negative. Especially considering the franchise's lack of success over the years.
  23. Not sure what you mean by quick trigger, but they are the 2nd oldest team in the league so that's a lot of drafting. The players Beane traded were all still very young and could have been part of that core you listed.
  24. So they're evacuating the city for a hurricane but two Bills fans went bowling?
