  1. They get blown out far too often. And now another one against a bad team. NYJ being the other.
  2. you are just changing the subject even though you might not realize it
  3. Anyone still defending this regime is a loser. What do you put up with in your personal life if you're ok with how this is going?
  4. and you keep defending them for some reason I can't understand. You can't just say it's supposed to be bad, that's not good enough. No rage here, I'm happy today because this is one step closer to the end of McDermott who I was done with after he punted in OT of the last IND game.
  5. great counter-argument. Remember the last time the Bills played the Colts? McDermott punted on 4th and short in IND territory late in overtime and ended up winning despite the fact that IND could have ran the clock out causing a tie and virtually eliminating them from the precious playoffs where they got to kick a fg? That's when I was done with McDermott. Maybe a few more people will be after they are blown out by a team other than LAx2, NO, BAL, GB, NYJ. Because this Colts team is bad and now they don't have the snow to slow them down to our historically pathetic level.
  6. last year should have been that year. And for me it's not that they are bad, it's how bad they are. Historically bad on offense and starting Peterman gives me no hope or confidence in this coach or gm.
  7. I can't believe some people on here are defending Peterman and McDermott/Beane's decision to start him. Even if you use the "hindsight" excuse (which is completely wrong) I just can't respect your opinion. I don't think it's possible to play any worse than Nathan Peterman has played.
  8. At what point would you admit we should have picked Mahomes? I'm seriously asking. I feel like people push off the judgment down the line until they can say "Stop living in the past!"
  9. There's nothing wrong with it. Ask yourself this question. Would there be a thread like this with this many likes if he had looked good so far? I doubt it. This thread and it's praise are not only unnecessary, but borne out of fear that he will not progress. He may or he may not, but so far he has everything stacked against him.
  10. so did a lot of bad quarterbacks
  11. yeah but come on. We broke the drought. Super Bowl is all I care about now. That's not happening. The pick(s) we could get could be on a future super bowl contending online or WR corps. McCoy will be retired.
  12. You don't understand why someone with a similar style/role as Tolbert would be met with skepticism?
  13. My cousin and I have a running joke that Dareus was traded because during team prayer he was worshipping Satan.
  14. So they should go on a massive spending spree to surround Allen with players in free agency and they can afford to do this. THEN WHY NOT SAMMY WATKINS!! Who else are they gonna pay, 29 year old Randall Cobb? Give me an example of a player not just some idea. You said it yourself "...free agents always getting overpaid as a force of the market." So why is it ok to overpay these nameless Allen saviors? This is all without mentioning that the franchise tag for a WR is about 16mil. So we could have Sammy for this year and next then let him walk and pick up a comp pick. AND the fact that the Jets have more cap space next year, a better team, and a better market. Can't wait to overpay for their scraps.
  15. What edge rusher? We have Star and Murphy. Who cares if he's overpaid if we are still under the cap because we have a QB on a rookie deal. We can't even properly evaluate our rookie QB because "he doesn't have the weapons that Mahomes does" or really any weapons at all or much time to throw. The chiefs don't mind paying him because they know when Mahomes/Hunt/Hill are ready for new contracts Sammy's will be ending.
  16. This is just completely fabricated to fit your narrative.
  17. Sammy is only 25. We could’ve signed him to a 4-5 year deal that expired right when our rookie QB hopefully needs a new deal. Even if he was overpaid at least we would be a step closer to evaluate our QB without making excuses. Im not too broken up about Ragland but we moved Lorenzo so maybe we shouldn’t have given up on a 2nd round pick after one year. Zay is still around for some reason
  18. Darby and Ragland. Sammy would have a new contract by now but he was also on a rookie deal.
  19. Not just the expensive players. Young talented players on rookie contracts as well
  20. I’ve been wondering this also but in the opposite direction. Do some people accept things in their life that are this bad consistently. Are the people who are still positive at this point in relationships they should have bailed on years ago? I disagree that we can’t start over. I know that we won’t, but years from now we will look back and wish McBeane were fired today. I’ve never seen so many terrible trades, signings, roster moves, lack of roster moves, and missed draft picks by any professional team in such a short span of time.
