Thought Harrison Phillips was that guy. Where was Kyle drafted again? Who's our highest paid player next year? Jordan and Harrison Phillips weren't even on the team this time last year. We added 3 DT and lost one to retirement in the last year.

@NewEra How can you possibly be confused by this sentence? Yeah that makes sense. Same for dline I want two #2 DTs instead of one really good one. And also for O line I want two decent tackles and not one elite guy. Actually come to think of it I'm glad tre white came back down to earth a little last year because I wouldn't want a #1 corner, I prefer two #2 corners and two slot corners.

I’m usually a BPA guy but when your offense and defense are this far apart in the rankings you take offense. All year people complained about the offense and were told not to worry because we are going to use draft picks and free agency to fix it. Now most on this board are hoping for Oliver. A defensibe tackle would upset me for a number of reasons. 1) He will be the 2nd or 3rd DT off the board and 5th or 6th d lineman. As opposed to the best player at OT, WR, or TE. If this draft is so deep at DT then there will be a player that can fit into our rotation later in the draft. 2) the aforementioned rotation means a DT will not be on the field every play. With a top 10 pick I want a player that will be on the field every play. 3) we have been through this with Dareus. He was the BPA supposedly. AJ green went one pick later. I know it happens the other way around (Sammy over Mack) but no one really knows who the best player is going to be. 4) we don’t need a Kyle Williams replacement. I keep seeing this on mock drafts as a reason to take a DT at 9. Phillips wasn’t on the team this time last year. His one year deal is just smart cap management. Harrison was pumped up as Kyles eventual replacement. What happened to that? Star is the highest paid player on the team. He cannot be cut for two more years after this one without serious dead cap.

Why don’t you tell us what he would have “done to” Allen

Antonio Brown has more td catches last season than Buffalo had passing TDS. Adding him makes it impossible for anyone to make excuses if Allen can’t produce. Right now it’s very possible I’m hearing excuses next offseason. Brown/Beasley have a combined 1 1,000 yard season. I never said he’s the only weapon on the planet but thanks for putting words into my mouth. I’m only trying to give Beane credit for trading for the best player at our biggest need position. Beane didn’t back out Brown did.

Nope. Having the best receiver (or at least top 3) on what is essentially a 2 year deal when we have plenty of cap space this year and next would have been nice. Would have left no excuses for Allen. There is no aspect of the AB deal that is a negative. You didn’t counter anything he said. Just pointed out that it’s negative.

Nah you’re taking it too seriously. I don’t need to try to insult other posters but if I exaggerate it will be for my hate of Zay Jones. He’s my least favorite player probably of all time after that video.
