How can you be. unbiased and think they’re better than the Jets and will win both games? Remember that Thursday night game from a couple years ago? We were about even even last year and they added Bell, Mosley, qWilliams (some ppl in here were for the rumored trade up because he’s “better” than Oliver. Those same ppl now think we will sweep them). We have good safeties but they have Adams. Osemele vs. Spain? Crowder v Beasley? They already had better WRs before any additions. Allen v Darnold? Doesn’t seem so obvious to me. how about you plead a case instead of making it personal?

SI Predicts 2019 Records
Rock-A-Bye Beasley replied to Just Joshin''s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed. This is the part where the personal insults usually start flying. Or the "hindsight" defense. Or "Sorry Beane didn't do exactly what YOU wanted him to do" What people who say these things don't understand is being critical of a GM or coach doesn't just happen due to some irrational hatred of the guy or organization. -
ESPN's "Future Power Rankings"

I’ll repeat myself since your not getting it. Having Brady/Belichick makes a Super Bowl possible. Whether that’s only next season or he plays to 45 like he wants to. That ALONE gives NE a brighter future no matter how long the timeline. -

You used the term Patriot Killer to describe McDermott. He is 0-4 against them. I don't know what to tell you at this point you obviously don't like facts. -

Shouldn’t a Bills fan be upset that Brady/Belichick are nearly undefeated against Buffalo as opposed to confidently ignorant? -
ESPN's "Future Power Rankings"

This is a future ranking. Hughes and shady are on the wrong side of 30 as are the WRs we signed to help Allen. Pats are rated highly because despite their QBs age, They are a legitimate super bowl contender if not favorite if he’s around. One year (let alone 2 or 3) of that being the case should have more weight than anything else. -
Biggest Bills Madden Snub?

Hey @row_33 what are you confused about my comment? The players clearly do care about these ratings snubs. See the articles/interviews above -

Then don’t join in lol, cool that you thought to bump the thread though. So thoughtful. -

Biggest Bills Madden Snub?

No, surprisingly that isn’t the case. Morse was around 81 maybe 82 at the end of last season. But apparently ratings will be lower overall this season according to someone earlier in this thread. So he may have even improved relatively. -

Yeah, even the players seem to care about their ratings. Do you have a point to make about the question being posed by the OP; or just adding nothing to a thread like usual? -
SI very early 2020 mock draft
Rock-A-Bye Beasley replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Who crowned them champs? They were 7-8-1 last year. Went 5-2 down the stretch. How can you get so much wrong in one sentence? They are a better team than the Bills right now. This is based on Vegas betting. Would you put money on the Bills having a better record? Also, Mock drafts this early are only to show the prospects that are on the radar at this point. No one thinks this is an attempt at an accurate projection. -
SI very early 2020 mock draft
Rock-A-Bye Beasley replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I meant they added better players THAN the Bills. They have at least 3-4 players on their team that are better than anyone on the Bills. Garrett, OBJ, Landry, Bitonio, Richardson, Vernon. Not to mention at the most important position in all of sports they SEEM to have the edge after 1 year. -

They added better players in the offseason. Why is it so hard to comprehend? -
Not arguing the first part. Of course it can be done. Just don’t know why anyone would prefer to not have a #1 WR. I see some people saying “#1 WR and nothing but scrubs after that” which isn’t the question Kelvin Benjamin had 1,000 yards as a rookie. Funny how the 1,000 yard pace logic is thrown out when you mention Sammy Watkins.
-
First of all, no it isn't. The question was stated as "important or good to have" The problem is what do either of those terms mean? What does necessary mean? Necessary to win the Super bowl? You have to define all these terms AND "#1 WR" in order to even begin a discussion that makes any sense. My point is this is all just a bunch of rationalization of the fact that the WRs are average at best on paper. Fans want to believe they will be good, and sure it's possible. We don't need to say elite receivers hurt their teams to justify our middling at best talent at the position.
-
Completely agree. Why isn’t this article/thread about elite Defensive tackles or elite cornerbacks or having a top 5 left tackle? Ill tell you why, it’s because the genesis for this thread and many others like it this offseason is someone looking at a weakness on the Bills roster and trying to justify it. Yeah, it’s ok that the Bills don’t have a #1 WR but for a young QB like Allen I would like to see more talent surrounding him on offense at every position. Hopefully they will get there eventually, the Antonio Brown attempted trade gives me hope that they’re not actually satisfied. On the other hand they didn’t draft a WR and instead went with a 3rd/4th string running back. I see teams like the Chiefs, Rams, Texans and probably others, continue to draft/sign WR to help their young QB when they already have much better talent than Buffalo currently.
