Umm...GB shut us out last year. Under this coach we are -164 point differential. Bills used to play nearly every game tough/close. Now we get blown out in about 1/4 of our games.

I agree using a super bowl win as evidence of anything is a weak argument. (Which I tried incorrectly to do) but it doesn’t change the fact that AB isn’t a loser by most standards.

You’re already defining success by only a super bowl ring and only the best WR in the league. If Tyree doesn’t make the helmet catch or ATL defense stops NE once they both have a ring in those years. You’re the one trying to be cute by selecting your own parameters to prove some point which escapes me. The only thing I can think you’re getting at is “the best wide receivers aren’t really the best for your team” ok, well then they’re not the best are they?

This question pops up on here about monthly. I can’t help but think it’s because the Bills haven’t had a top WR recently. Like Biscuit said, it can be said about almost any other position as well. It’s an illogical question because you’re defining the “top 5 WR” in your own way and first admitting they are somehow better than all the other receivers.

Wrong. But if that’s true our GM is an idiot for thinking he could trade for him and not have to give him a new deal. Take a a look at his contract on spotrac. It’s basically a 2 year deal and we have plenty of cap space this year and next. So if what you say is true our GM is an idiot for thinking he wouldn’t have to give him more money AND even dumber for not wanting to. My bad, assumed adding a hall of famer at a need position would be a good thing. Have fun making the “weapons” excuse for Allen again this year.

Locker room cancer? He missed one game at the end of the year last season. What about the rumors of Ben being racist? The Steelers were a pretty good team in his time there. I’ll take that type of carcinogen in the locker room any day. Y’all just mad he didn’t want to come to Buffalo, but why blame him? We haven’t had a good passing offense in years. Our top 3 receivers combined don’t get as many yards as a #1 receiver.

I agree with you. I wanted Metcalf and it will be interesting for me to see which player ends up being better. WR is clearly a more valued position than guard. I mean, we added Spain after all the dust settled in free agency. Could've just added another veteran FA RG to protect Josh, but adding a playmaker is much more difficult. I give Beane credit for trying with AB though

Are you kidding? Antonio had 1500 yards and 15TD. John struggles to get to 1,000 and has done so only once. Also has been at the bottom of the league for catch rate.

Nah I’d be cool with it. He’s day to day and one of the top recovers in the NFL. Just like I’m not mad at Beane that Morse is injured. See how consistency in one’s logic works?
